Ordentliches, sauberes Hotel, Frühstück war super (man konnte Omelette, pancakes etc bestellen), Pool Bereich war schön und Zimmer wurde durch Klimaanlage schön gekühlt. Nah am Nationalpark. Haben uns wohl gefühlt. Es gab Wasser, Tee und Kaffee den ganzen Tag über. Für Costa Rica eine gute Unterkunft mit gutem Service. Wir hatten wesentlich schlechtere Unterkünfte zum gleichen Preis in Costa Rica. Also Topp!

Except for no fridge in the room, we loved our stay here. There was no swimming in the ocean as the currents were too strong, but they have a nice pool.

Habitación pequeñita pero agradable. Con aire acondicionado. Limpian todos los días. Sirven desayunos tipo buffet: 2 tipos de fruta, algo de embutido, tortitas y huevos. Café y zumos. La piscina es pequeñita pero está bien. Está en el centro de Tortuguero lo que facilita mucho la accesibilidad a restaurantes y actividades.

Having never been to Tortuguero, I didn’t know what to expect. It’s definitely a more rustic, eco-centered village so the hotel was on par with that, but it appeared to be one of the better options in the area. Our room had an ocean view, which was nice, and the beach along the hotel was very pretty. Beds were very comfortable, air conditioning worked well. Place was a little dated (no tv, but had wifi). Cook-to-order omelettes in the morning and good breakfast food. Appreciate the 24-hour coffee and cold water station. Also appreciate the tour guide greeting us at the water taxi and walking us back (<5 minutes from the dock) because we’d never find it on our own. (After that, it’s impossible to get lost there-the village is on one main strip.)

Personnel très accueillant et sympathique. Chambre peu spacieuse mais confortable, salle de bain grande mais pas assez de tablettes pour déposer les effets personnels. Déjeuner style buffet copieux avec fruits frais et œufs fait sur demande. On a aimé la piscine, juste assez grande pour se rafraîchir et lire un peu. On a même eu la chance d’observer un paresseux de très proche grimper sur un arbre.

We had a lovely relaxing stay. Immaculately maintained gardens and cute pool area. The rooms and common areas were clean and comfortable. No tvs so you can relax but connected to strong WiFi should you need that. Access to beach walks and canal tours. Friendly staff helpful when you have questions. Lots of birds and wildlife come up to the property gardens, Pura vida.

It was a beach front hotel so that was nice. However, swimming in the ocean is strictly prohibited due to the riptides. Our room had a ton of large ants on arrival. We notified the house cleaner as she was just next door. And although she promptly came in and swept them out, there was a ton when we returned later that day. Also to note, we where told that check in was after 2pm but the website said noon.

It rained during the night. When we woke up in the morning we noticed that the clothes on the bed were wet. There was leak from the roof. Front desk person was not helpful at all and manager was not there. Also bed was too high and mattress of very poor quality, it squeaked with every move, was not able to sleep at all. The rate we paid for the hotel was very high compared to other hotels in the area and they were of better quality and service.

Room was by the pool so was noisy from the people using it late. Repairs were being undertaken on windows which was also noisy. Breakfast was poor, each day there was less to choose from and no clean glasses

Tortuguero er et skønt sted, god stemning og hyggeligt rodet. Beach Front var fint nogle steder og slidt andre. Første værelse var med defekt AC og hårtørrer + larm fra tagplader. Næste værelse var bedre. Der er lydt. Søde mennesker og fin morgenmad Central beliggenhed Godt til prisen😊

Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer im Garten. Ausreichend groß und sauber. Auch das Bad war sehr sauber. Die Lage am Strand ist mega. Aber Achtung man hört das Meer sehr laut Rauschen, wer das nicht mag.

Hotel super bem localizado no centrinho, nos atenderam muito bem no check in e permitiram nossa entrada antecipada, quarto está limpo, cama, chuveiro e limpeza tudo em ordem! O café da manhã estava bem gostoso, mas demora um pouco para a reposição ser feita no buffet.

This is a beautiful place that is both on the beach and part of the village or Tortuguero, so you are immersed in the local life as well as the beautiful landscape. The staff are helpful, particularly if you can speak a bit of Spanish. Breakfasts are fantastic.

We loved the friendly staff that encouraged us to try our Spanish. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Wifi was good. Showers were lukewarm. Tortuguero is a small village with 1500 people some dogs and no cars. Lots of small restaurants and hotels.The beds had dips on one side, but we slept on the other side and they were great.We used Exploradores for our transfer from San Jose. It included breakfast. A guide and the 90 minute boat ride to the village. Great service. We didn't realize that we had to go online when we got there to buy a park entrance fee before we went on the upriver canoe ride. Then you have to rent boots to walk through the park in the afternoon. You need to wade through water the first 100 yards. Hadn't read this anywhere.

We stayed at Hotel Tortuguero beachfront for four nights - It was good. The free breakfast was really nice, it is right on the beachfront. and also walking distance from everywhere. The AC in the rooms were much needed and the best. and on our last day the staff even packed us a nice breakfast for our trip back.

We stayed at Hotel Tortuguero beachfront for four nights - It was good. The free breakfast was really nice, it is right on the beachfront. and also walking distance from everywhere. La piscina es pequeñita pero está bien. Está en el centro de Tortuguero lo que facilita mucho la accesibilidad a restaurantes y actividades.

Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer im Garten. Ausreichend groß und sauber. Auch das Bad war sehr sauber. Die Lage am Strand ist mega. Aber Achtung man hört das Meer sehr laut Rauschen, wer das nicht mag.

Hotel super bem localizado no centrinho, nos atenderam muito bem no check in e permitiram nossa entrada antecipada, quarto está limpo, cama, chuveiro e limpeza tudo em ordem! O café da manhã estava bem gostoso, mas demora um pouco para a reposição ser feita no buffet.

Room was by the pool so was noisy from the people using it late. Repairs were being undertaken on windows which was also noisy. Breakfast was poor, each day there was less to choose from and no clean glasses

This is a beautiful place that is both on the beach and part of the village or Tortuguero, so you are immersed in the local life as well as the beautiful landscape. The staff are helpful, particularly if you can speak a bit of Spanish. Breakfasts are fantastic.

Personnel très accueillant et sympathique. Chambre peu spacieuse mais confortable, salle de bain grande mais pas assez de tablettes pour déposer les effets personnels. Déjeuner style buffet copieux avec fruits frais et œufs fait sur demande. On a aimé la piscine, juste assez grande pour se rafraîchir et lire un peu. On a même eu la chance d’observer un paresseux de très proche grimper sur un arbre.

We stayed in the hotel as a party of six people with two teenagers sharing a room with two adults and two adults in a room on their own. The location was very good to be in the middle of the small resort. It is located about five minute walk from the jetty where the boat will leave you. The journey with our luggage was fine however it was not raining and on the return to the Boat at the end of our stay we paid a local staff member to take our luggage as it would’ve been difficult with elderly relatives. In hindsight, we should have left the majority of our luggage in our car parked and taken a small backpack with the clothes and items we needed as this was a short stay as part of our two week trip around Costa Rica. The staff wore meant many hats as it is a small resort and I would like to pay particular praise to Brian who was a young receptionist who spoke excellent English and was very clued up on the local area and resort. The rooms were basic and the Aircon was excellent. The showers were surprisingly good, but the pressure in the taps was poor, but it didn’t really matter as we tended to have showers at the end of the day and just use the tapwater for brushing teeth and washing hands after toileting. The breakfast once again was basic but sufficient. There was a selection of teas which was important with us being English and the coffee was very nice. I would recommend this as a good base for your trip around Tortuguero.

Tal como su nombre indica, se encuentra frenta a la playa, aunque ésta es un tanto "salvaje" por lo que está poco frecuentada y hay que bañarse con cuidado debido a las corrientes. Tortuguero es pequeño y todo está cerca, así que en pocos minutos se puede llegar andando a cualquier lugar. Lo recomendaría para una estancia breve, no más de 2 ó 3 días.
