Shuttle service to airport is nice to have. But from shuttle stop to the lobby are several hundred yards to walk and also some stairs. Making difficult if you have some luggage to carry.

This is a great place to stay near the Frankfurt airport and there's a car park right next to it that has a 24-hour every 30 minutes shuttle bus to the airport. So it's great for getting tuned from the airport great place to leave your car if you need to. We got a sweet for under $100 so we have a little living area and a dining area with a table to sit up in the separate bedroom. It was very nice we were comfortable there there was a grocery store you could walk to just down the street which was helpful. There's no microwave though and no refrigerator.

A very nice well designed hotel in immaculate condition (the rooms still smell brand new) with a professional, courteous and effecient staff. While our room could be considered a tad tight, it was effeciently arranged with sufficient outlets for all our electronics, and a well designed bathroom. The beds were comfortable but are on wheels, which when combined with the hard flooring resulted in us inadvertently bumping and thus rolling the beds away from each other. The hotel was located adjacent to a park and two small lakes (i.e., ponds) with numerous walking trails (including one that drops you off at a restaurant / biergarten. Moreover an Edeka market is less than 10 minutes away and there are a number of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Note: We didn't eat at the hotel's restaurant. An added benefit was the complimentary shuttle service both to and from the airport. The only confusing part. The shuttle does not have the name of the hotel on it. Instead, it has the name of the adjacent parking structure (which is only a problem when you're trying to pick up the shuttle at the airport). Other than that, we had absolutely wonderful stay and would definitely consider staying here the next time we're in the area.

Free shuttle transportation was not provided. Paid 25€ for transport. Access to property is through an industrial area and property is bordered by a wooded are. I was dropped off and bus departed before I entered the building. This was after midnight. Felt extremely unsafe. No telephones in room

Hotel staffs were nice and room was clean. Resturant was open until 11pm which was very helpful to satisfy our empty stomachs for the late arrival at 10pm. I chose this hotel because it is near Frankfurt airport and offers free airport shuttle service, but the bus stop wasn't at the hotel shuttle pickup, 15mins walk from the exit of terminal and we had to walk extra 250m to the hotel from drop-off.

We stayed for one night before an early international flight and were very pleased with our experience. The room was spacious, spotless, quiet, and modern. The airport shuttle service was prompt and convenient—just a short ride from the terminal. If you’re looking for a comfortable short-term stay near Frankfurt Airport, this is an excellent choice. We would definitely stay here again.

Great value for a one-night stay at the airport. I have paid much more for much less. Despite my thoughts below, it was an excellent experience. Pros: Hotel was modern and functional, 5 mins walk from a nice supermarket, staff were friendly, shuttles were not crowded and super-punctual. I had a great nights sleep. Cons: (1) The shuttle was not super easy to find at Terminal 1 even with the downloadable map (walk outside, and all the way to the end of terminal, 100 m? past door A, and you'll find a small car-park on the left 'round the corner'. The shuttle was waiting there.), (2) some won't like the 250 m walk between the shuttle drop-off (at a car-park) and the hotel, (3) the in-room wifi was fine but not exactly 'fast' (1 MB/s), (4) there were a few small drips and stains on the floor and tables in my room. Not enough to trouble me, but enough that I noticed, perhaps because the rest of the room was so clean and simple. I didn't use the restaurant but it seemed busy at 6 am (good sign) and was open for dinner from 5 to 11 pm. Given the value, I would definitely still again. Others may prefer prefer staying in a terminal hotel at 4 times the cost.

Very convenient to the airport. The room and hotel were spotless, and the staff friendly. The shuttle bus stops at the parking garage next door, so there is a walk of a few minutes to get to the hotel. The room was basic, but comfortable. One odd thing was that the bathroom sink did not have a stopper that closed, so you couldn't fill the sink with water. But for an overnight stay, not a big deal

Room was clean and spacious, there were many sockets in the room including USB/USB-c socket. Shower was clean, powerful, and hot water temperature was good :) The reception lent me a hairdryer. No kettle or fridge but there was a complementary bottle of water. The airport shuttle bus stop was only about 50 meters away from the hotel. The bus stop to get off at T2 was a bit far away from the airport, so if you have multiple or heavy suitcases be prepared to walk a short distance! (Or use a taxi/Uber) I used the local taxi to the hotel when I arrived at Frankfurt airport and it cost about €20

great, reasonable pricing and breakfast (at a fee) was delicious. awesome shuttle service, very convenient. my only gripe was with the wifi. i was at room 209 and only had 1 bar. it kept going in and out. i asked about it and was told more or less that there was nothing they could do. other than that, i would certainly consider staying there again

Modern excellent property. Only issues are the check in hour of 4pm and out 10am. I arrived at 2pm and had to pay extra to check in even though the hotel was quite empty. Shuttle is a bit of a walk to the pickup and drop off. King bed is actually 2 small beds pushed together and you will fall through if you roll over.

Nice big clean room, well appointed. Slow wifi in the evening, but fast in the morning, so I guess too many people for their feed. Shower in my room (217) would not stay high (maintenance needed), and both the soft dispenser return springs were shot (maintenance). Very nice helpful staff. Email need better directions to "P29" at FRA to catch the shuttle. Oh yeah - no hairdryer.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut organisiert, der transfer hat sehr gut geklappt ( wenn man weiss wo der shuttle bus zu finden ist), die zimmer sind sauber und tip top mit gratis wasser flasche und tolle waschprodukte. Wir werden das Hotel immer wieder bei Abflug Frankfurt nehmen weil Preis/Leistung top ist

Modern excellent property. Only issues are the check in hour of 4pm and out 10am. I arrived at 2pm and had to pay extra to check in even though the hotel was quite empty. Shuttle is a bit of a walk to the pickup and drop off. King bed is actually 2 small beds pushed together and you will fall through if you roll over.

We found the instructions for the shuttle a little confusing, indicating that one needs to turn left and walk about 100m to find the allocated spot when exiting the terminal would help out a great deal.

Als ich ankam urinierte gerade jemand vor die Treppen, was anscheinend niemanden so richtig interessierte..der Eingang des Hotels sah ansprechend aus. Wir haben im Internet gebucht und reserviert, der Mitarbeiter sagte jedoch das man nur mit Kreditkarte zahlen kann..wir antworteten, dass wir bereits reserviert hatten und dieses nirgend geschrieben stand..er meinte es ist normal, kein Cash oder EC nur Kreditkarte. Er war sehr happig, null hilfsbereit und verwits mit den Gedanken wieder vei was anderem. Sehr schlechter Service! Staff was excellent and helpful, food was terrific and a neat experience and the room was peak German experience to me, efficient and sharp - no excess luxury, I loved it. Paired beds caught me by surprise when I moved to what I though was the middle of one bed and damn near fell on the floor, but I hadn't slept much the previous couple days so that was my own fault for not noticing that. Shuttle to the airport was convenient too! Recommended to my family for their upcoming visit. 5/5.

My husband and I had to unexpectedly book one night at this hotel, due to an insane flight delay turning Frankfurt from a quick layover to an overnight stay. The convenience of location (~15 minutes from the airport) influenced our decision. However, Platzhirsch Living as an airport hotel goes above and beyond in quality and comfort of the room. We weren't able to try the complimentary breakfast because of our early morning flight, though it looked delicious. If you're in need of a good rest and a quick jaunt to the airport, Platzhirsch Living will foot the bill and then some.

The staff was OK waited for almost 25 min till they arrive to the front desk over all stay was OK they need better description how to get to the hotel by shuttle as for first timer may be challenging. Price is very nice.

The receptionist was the worst. He was slow and rudely. We took long time for checking in even have done it through website beforehand. The restaurant staff reccomended us vending machines for coktails.The shuttle bus stop 200m far from the the hotel. Never go there once again.

The hotel was very convenient to catch the shuttle for the airport. There was a grocery store a few blocks away which was also very convenient. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. We didn't eat breakfast there, so I don't know anything about the restaurant.

This is a hotel built to serve off airport car parking and is geared to single night stays. It is next to a multi story car park and nothing else, in an industrial area. As a result the hotel has limited facilities and there are no other options locally for food or drink,. The eco design masks that everything about the room is small, to the extent that the recessed tv has a protective Perspex cover to stop it being scratched as there is little room to get to the other side of the the bed between the foot of the bed and the tv. Having said that the hotel is new, everything worked as it should and we slept well.

The Platzhirsch Living has a peaceful atmosphere, despite being pretty close to the airport. When you look out of your window you'll see lots of trees. The rooms are clean and modern, and the hotel restaurant is a pleasant and inviting experience. Staff were helpful and easy to talk to. I liked how it didn't feel overcrowded or loud. Food was tasty as well. What's also nice is the shuttle service to the airport which goes about every half an hour. The only difficulty is getting to Kelsterbach. If you take the S-Bahn there, you will have to walk 20 minutes from the Kelsterbach station. I'm not sure if you could easily find the shuttle if you arrive from the Frankfurt airport. In any case, this is a nice hotel.

Great value for a one-night stay at the airport. I have paid much more for much less. Despite my thoughts below, it was an excellent experience. Pros: Hotel was modern and functional, 5 mins walk from a nice supermarket, staff were friendly, shuttles were not crowded and super-punctual. I had a great nights sleep. Cons: (1) The shuttle was not super easy to find at Terminal 1 even with the downloadable map (walk outside, and all the way to the end of terminal, 100 m? past door A, and you'll find a small car-park on the left 'round the corner'. The shuttle was waiting there.), (2) some won't like the 250 m walk between the shuttle drop-off (at a car-park) and the hotel, (3) the in-room wifi was fine but not exactly 'fast' (1 MB/s), (4) there were a few small drips and stains on the floor and tables in my room. Not enough to trouble me, but enough that I noticed, perhaps because the rest of the room was so clean and simple. I didn't use the restaurant but it seemed busy at 6 am (good sign) and was open for dinner from 5 to 11 pm. Given the value, I would definitely still again. Others may prefer prefer staying in a terminal hotel at 4 times the cost.

The hotel is located in an industrial zone, so it really didn't make a great first impression, but....it turned out to be exactly right for our purposes. We stayed there for one night before hopping on our flight back home to the US. And it turns out that the hotel was built with travelers like us in mind as the big parking garage for long term parking was there first and the hotel was only added 2-3 years ago. The shuttle bus stop in front of the parking garage speaks to that purpose but is a bit far from the hotel entrance (200m/ 220 yards) for some travelers (I saw a gentleman miss the bus because it took him too long to get to the bus stop). The room was sufficiently spacious, and we could check in before 4pm (which was listed as the official time on my itinerary). Bathroom was very nice. The hotel restaurant offered a small menu but good choices. There are vending machines everywhere. The little robot that served the meals turned out to be quite impatient - funny touch of 'high tech'. Outside is not much, a park of sorts that we strolled through but given the surrounding industrial area not something that looks really inviting. The hotel foyer is nicely 'movie' themed, with brightly colored posters of a post-Warhol nature. The staff was definitely very variable in terms of customer service orientation, with some being evasive while the gentleman who checked us in was quite proactive - kudos to him.

Once you exit terminal one, you need to go to the Medical Center, which is on your left, but a good walk. This was a little difficult to find, that is where the shuttle is. Hotel is tucked away at the edge of the town making it quiet from autos and people; however there is significant air traffic from Frankfurt Airport except from Midnight to 5AM. The plane noise can be mitigated by running the in room fan / dehumidifier. Staff was very helpful and friendly and even noticed that my rental car was a plug in hybrid so they provided free on-site charging. Be aware that on site car parking is limited which may result in parking on side gravel road along a fence line if arriving late. Overall the stay was comfortable and accommodations were spacious for a European hotel.

Room was a good size, comfy bed, good bathroom and shower. Staff member at checkin @ 23.30 was welcoming and happy, despite the hour. Very clean property, quiet, excellent breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. The only aspect we didn’t like is they had no bottled water to buy, and they directed us to the restaurant where we were charged 10 euro for two glasses of water, seemed very steep!

We selected this hotel primarily for their hotel to airport shuttle which was great but the shuttle driver never told us where the hotel entrance was. Given that there are not restaurants around that area, it would have been good if the restaurant had good service and good food. The service was so bad that we had to ask the server twice for our drinks even before our meal. The food was mediocre and while they tried hard, it did not live up to their recommenations. Would not stay there again.

Perfect hotel for going to or from the airport! Very clean and comfortable - I LOVED that they have Rituals products for soap and lotion. The room was spacious and modern. I used the airport shuttle 2 times and dined in the restaurant - the chili con carne was really good! The only thing I would change is shorten the sink faucet in the bathroom - it is good for washing hands but gets in the way when washing your face or brushing your teeth. Maybe they could add a mini fridge too. I would definitely stay here again!

Schönes Hotel mit Parkhaus und guter shuttleservice zu Terminal 1 und 2. Restaurant gut und bis 23.00 Uhr Küche war gut. Getränke 24 Stunden-Hotel 24 Stunden Rezeption. Sehr gutes Frühstück ab 6.00 Uhr. Alles perfekt.

직원들도 친절하고 여자직원분이 친절하게온도 조절해야하는 약이있어 가져온 냉동팩을 얼려달라했는데 그것도 잘보관해주셨고 숙소내부도 엄청 깔끔하고 정리가 잘되어있었어요 다만 아쉬운점이 숙소내에 냉장고 전기주전자 드라이기등 생활편리품들이 비치가 되어있지않아 다소 불편감은 있었지만 다른부분은 정말좋았어요 공항에서 호텔까지셔틀이있어 아주편리했어요. 단 셔틀타는곳을몰라 공항에서 많은시간을 소비했네요 타는방법을 좀더자세히 설명되어있었다면 정말좋았을것같아요.
직원들도 친절하고 여자직원분이 친절하게온도 조절해야하는 약이있어 가져온 냉동팩을 얼려달라했는데 그것도 잘보관해주셨고 숙소내부도 엄청 깔끔하고 정리가 잘되어있었어요 다만 아쉬운점이 숙소내에 냉장고 전기주전자 드라이기등 생활편리품들이 비치가 되어있지않아 다소 불편감은 있었지만 다른부분은 정말좋았어요 공항에서 호텔까지셔틀이있어 아주편리했어요. 단 셔틀타는곳을몰라 공항에서 많은시간을 소비했네요 타는방법을 좀더자세히 설명되어있었다면 정말좋았을것같아요.

Sehr sauberes, ordentliches Zimmer mit einer angenehmen Matratze, leider konnte man die Nachbarzimmer sehr früh hören, was ein bisschen beim schlafen gestört hat. Das könnte aber auch daran liegen, dass diejenigen nicht gerade rücksichtsvoll um die Uhrzeit waren.

I liked the large window and that I could open it to view a large wooded area where people were leisure walking. No traffic noises except the occasional air plane but considering I was only minutes away from the main terminal, it was rather quiet and I slept well with the window open. Checking in was a breeze. The restaurant food is quite good and the prices are decent. I will definitely book here again. The shuttle to the airport is free of charge but the drop off location is a bit tricky to find. Despite other available info on the web about the pickup/drop off location, the shuttle will not stop at the regular hotel shuttle pick up location at Terminal 1 Arrival. Instead, from there, take a left, walk all the way along the building toward the airport ambulance medical center. The Platzhirsch shuttle's stop is located behind the medical center, but before you get to the regular city bus stop. Took me asking 3 different people to figure this out. Everything else was great!!
