Lovely friendly and helpful staff, room was spotless and comfy beds. Great communal spaces too. Location really good just a short walk to tourist attractions. Food hall and bar downstairs was an added bonus.

Superb Hotel / Apartments. Great Location, outside the Old Town but close to 2nd World War Museum and Solidarity Museum which are must visits in Gdansk. Value of the room was superb. Huge room, modern and quiet - despite being above a fantastic food hall. You would pay 10 times the price for anything comparable in a UK city.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at MONTOWNIA! The room was beautiful, industrial and super clean - every corner was spotless, I have rarely seen a room this clean! The kitchenette is super practical, and the design of the rooms and the whole building is very special. I stayed on the weekend, and they had a party in the food hall downstairs, there is a great bar, I had an amazing time. The room was absolutely quiet, you could not hear anything from the food hall. I will certainly stay here again.

Huge room with plenty of storage space. Lovely bathroom and comfortable beds. Free of charge in room safe was a great addition. Really handy for trams or easily walkable to the centre. Useful having the food hall on the ground floor. Staff on reception were very helpful.

Unique building and the rooms are furnished to a high standard. Only one clean for a weeks stay, which never happened and we weren’t told we had to ask, apart from that minor gripe, the place was fab… it’s definitely not a hotel, it’s just self catering small suites and rooms. The food court is very good and well priced. Surprisingly no noise from the entertainment at the weekend. Gdańsk is such a hub for food, the old town and museums, as well as Sopot and further afield. It also has significant historical interest.

Väldigt hög standard och kvalité på allting både för allmänna utrymmen men såklart också själva rummen. Sköna sängar, bra med AC, väldigt rent och tyst. Dessutom Modern, vacker och intressant historia kring fastigheten. Helt klart prisvärt och kommer definitivt återkomma! Det finns en stor food hall på entréplan som verkligen är toppklass!

Lovely place to stay and interesting decor. Spacious rooms which are cleaned to a high standard. Public areas also spotless. Food hall was fab. It will be our first choice when we return for another break in Gdnask.

Jag är mycket nöjd med upplevelsen. Från incheckningen känns det verkligen välkomnande; personalen mötte mig alltid med vänlighet och ett glatt leende, vilket satte en positiv ton för hela vistelsen. Rummen var fräscha och fina — moderna detaljer, rena sängkläder och ett snyggt intryck som gav en känsla av omtanke. Jag uppskattade särskilt den fräsha känslan och den välorganiserade layouten som gör det enkelt att koppla av efter långa jobbmöten

Die Location ist außergewöhnlich ( ehemalige U-Boothalle),das Loft ebenso ! Die integrierte großzügige Food Hall mit reichhaltigem Angebot spektakulär! Sehr zentral zur City! Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Man muss wissen dass eine Zwischenreinigung nur auf Anfrage stattfindet und kostenpflichtig ist, Handtücher/ WC Papier werden auf Wunsch gewechselt/ aufgefüllt. Des Weiteren fehlte im Vorfeld die Information dass das Frühstück in der Food Hall bei einem Schnellrestaurant stattfindet. Das typisch polnische Frühstück ( ca. 15 Menüs) muss man mögen, sehr fett/ süß/ eierlastig…. Es hatte eher einen Mensakarakter, teilweise lange Wartezeit bei der Bestellung und sehr laut. Fazit… das Loft jederzeit wieder, Frühstück eher im Zimmer da Kitchenette vorhanden

The room was amazing would definitely recommend to anyone else the only thing was where the Foodhall is they have parties over the weekend and the bass did wake me up. Other than that can’t fault anything!

Wonderful apartments, stylish in industrial design. We loved the apartment and it was only a short walk from the old town. The bottom floor houses a cool foodcourt with a good bar and some great food!

Store rom med kjøkken og sittegruppe. Hems med dobbelseng (bratt stige opp) , i tillegg til dobbeltsengen nede i rommet. Dette passet veldig bra for oss, som var 3 personer. Utsikten var ikke så mye å skryte av; byggeplass for nye leiligheter, og Gdansk sine kraner på havna i det fjerne. God frokost i restaurant i foodhallen i underetasjen, hvor du fikk en voucher med en viss sum som du kunne bestille mat og drikke for. Hvis du bestilte mer enn dette, så betaler du bare mellomlegget. Mye liv i foodhallen, hvor du kan bestille mat fra mange ulike fastfoodkiosker fra ulike land og kulturer.

Huge room with plenty of storage space. Lovely bathroom and comfortable beds. Free of charge in room safe was a great addition. Really handy for trams or easily walkable to the centre. Useful having the food hall on the ground floor. Staff on reception were very helpful.

Amazing hotel with big spacious rooms with high ceilings. You almost feel you are in New York! Very good A la carte Breakfast in the Food Hall in the first floor of the building. Which also is worth staying at the hotel for. This Food Hall have everything you need with good quality! Very close walking distance to the center also.

Very nice hotel, just one year old when we visited. Nice and helpful staff and gorgeous rooms. It's located very close to Gdansk city and we are so pleased with our four night stay. We could check in early, end also they extended our last day so that we could keep the room an extra hour to time out cab ride to the airport. Would definitely visit again!

Ett helt fantastiskt boende. Fräscht, rent och lyxkänsla. Låg nära centrum. Frukosten kanon så mm fick välja vad man ville ha. Ett stort plus var att receptionen ordnade frukostpåse då vårt plan gick tidigt.

Lovely friendly and helpful staff, room was spotless and comfy beds. Great communal spaces too. Location really good just a short walk to tourist attractions. Food hall and bar downstairs was an added bonus.

Very nice and clean room. Good internet and everything works in general. Food court with big selection of foods and great atmosphere in the same building. Excellent service from Wiktoria in the reception, she's very service minded, helpful and efficient. I highly recommend Montownia.

I was at the hotel 6 hours prior to check-in just to check the place out and got to check in really early. The room/apartment was really cosy and tidy. The staff are really friendly and helpful but there were some confusion regarding the breakfast initially that got sorted out after asking a few times. The breakfast is served in a restaurant in the food hall downstairs until 3 pm(!). There is a buffet but you can also choose to order from a breakfast menu for 70 zloty per adult or 50 zloty per child. I recommend doing this, the breakfast was outstanding. All in all, the place has a great location with walking distance to Old Town etc. The atmosphere is lovely with the food hall downstairs. If ever in Gdansk again i will stay here!

Hadde 3 flotte overnattinger her. Veldig bra velkomst, med imøtekommende og informativ resepsjonist, Rommet var meget bra, og overgikk alt av forventinger vi hadde før ankomst. Hadde ikke satt oss inn i opplegget med mathallen i underetasjen.. men, dette var helt rått. 19 forskjellige spisesteder, med bar i midten, og DJ på kvelden. Om det skulle være noe som skulle trekke ned scoren, så er det kanskje plasseringen. Det var litt lengre avstand fra hovedgaten i Gdansk, enn antatt. Vi brukte ca 10-15 minutter å gå. Men, med sol fra skyfri himmel, gikk dette helt greit. Kommer garantert til å komme tilbake her🙌

We had a very pleasant stay. It was short but lovely. The room was clean and beautiful. The staff was nice and friendly. There is a beautiful food court with about 18 types of cuisines in the hotel. We would recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

Stedet var specielt og havde en god historie, og var meget flot restaureret. Værelserne var store, og indretningen rå og manglede lidt varme/charme. Hotellet lå ret isoleret, så fedt med foodhallen i bunden. Konceptet med morgenmaden hvor man kunne vælge en ret på det lille spisested i foodhallen indtil kl 15 var super, det var dog ret tung mad/store portioner. Vi ville nok have taget det som frokost i stedet hvis det havde passet, og fortrækker en mere let morgenmad, men retterne var rigtig gode og smagte virkelig godt. Det tager ca 15 minutter at gå til byen, området hvor det ligger er i sig selv noget kedelig.

Great stay in a fantastic hotel. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and super quiet considering the food hall is downstairs! The food hall is also amazing and a must try, multiple times because theres so much choice and its all lovely! Its well located so you can walk to all the attractions as well, WW2 museum is 10 minutes walk and old town only 15 minutes

Vi syns at det var en veldig fin opplevelse å bo på dette hotellet. Det ligger masse bøker om historien til bygget, rundt om på hotellet. Rommene var store, rene og hadde et stort bad. Bra med egen kjøkkenkrok! Veldig artig med mathallen i underetasjen. God mat og veldig gode drinker. Beliggenheten var veldig bra, 10 min gange til museumet fra andre verdenskrig, og ca det samme til Solidaritetsmuseet og kjøpesenteret Madison.

What a gem of a find; this property is amazing. It's only a short walk out of the city centre, located on the docks and has retained many of it's historical features. Formerly a submarine factory, this accommodation now boosts brilliant features and has a vibrant food hall, with cuisines from around the world on the ground floor (note it shuts at 10pm, but worth checking if a band is playing). The rooms are well equipped and you can't hear anything from the food court. There's a supermarket opposite if you want to get some provisions too, so the kitchenette is very welcomed. The 10-15 min walk to the river bars/restaurants is lovely, full of little residential areas, parks, bridges and public art. It really is a gem which I would love to return to.

Wonderful apartments, stylish in industrial design. We loved the apartment and it was only a short walk from the old town. The bottom floor houses a cool foodcourt with a good bar and some great food!

Superb Hotel / Apartments. Great Location, outside the Old Town but close to 2nd World War Museum and Solidarity Museum which are must visits in Gdansk. Value of the room was superb. Huge room, modern and quiet - despite being above a fantastic food hall. You would pay 10 times the price for anything comparable in a UK city.

Very clean, modern, spacious, and affordable apartments. Well within walking distance of the attractions and ammenities Gdansk has to offer. The food hall & bar on the ground floor was also a highlight, offering a variety of dinining options that were very reasonably priced and of very good quality. I would most certainly stay at the Montownia again should I visit Gdansk again.

Die Location ist außergewöhnlich ( ehemalige U-Boothalle),das Loft ebenso ! Die integrierte großzügige Food Hall mit reichhaltigem Angebot spektakulär! Sehr zentral zur City! Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Man muss wissen dass eine Zwischenreinigung nur auf Anfrage stattfindet und kostenpflichtig ist, Handtücher/ WC Papier werden auf Wunsch gewechselt/ aufgefüllt. Des Weiteren fehlte im Vorfeld die Information dass das Frühstück in der Food Hall bei einem Schnellrestaurant stattfindet. Das typisch polnische Frühstück ( ca. 15 Menüs) muss man mögen, sehr fett/ süß/ eierlastig…. Es hatte eher einen Mensakarakter, teilweise lange Wartezeit bei der Bestellung und sehr laut. Fazit… das Loft jederzeit wieder, Frühstück eher im Zimmer da Kitchenette vorhanden

Ligger bra till vid hamnen, men ändå nära centrala Gdansk. Rummen var rena, stora och luftiga. Frukosten äter man nere i food-town. Inget att klaga på direkt. Varit här 2 ggr och båda ggr har jag och mina resekompanjoner varit nöjda.

Stunning apart hotel in a great location (within walking distance to the train station and the old town). On the ground floor there’s a food hall with plenty of choices. Our loft 45 was spacious, beautifully set up and functional. We only found a bit dangerous to climb up the stairs to the upper bed and requested the sofa bed made for us. The beds were very comfortable and the shower amazing. The kitchen had all the ammenities needed. The staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and totally recommend it.

Stora rum med hög standard. Tyst och lugn på rummet trots att det var mycket liv nere i anslutande restaurangdel med liveband bland annat. Uppskattade att frukosten serverades i ett café i anslutning till hotellet där vi fick välja från a carte meny och god kaffe.
