The floor we were on was seemly under construction with a lot of carpet missing. It seemed odd. Room was nice and together. Tv and wifi had issues. Both constantly dropped signal. Breakfast was included and was good. Pool was great for the kids.

So the property is under construction. Pool closed and couldn't be used. Rooms, hallways, breakfast area, lobby all under construction. If I had known it was under construction and pool closed, I would've stayed elsewhere. Definitely not worth what I paid. Breakfast was decent. Food was kept warm and many options to eat.

The room itself was clean & comfortable with lots of space. Mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in room. Bathroom was a shower tub combination with body wash, shampoo & conditioner included. Blow dryer and body lotion included by sink with good lighting around mirror. Very good continental breakfast with hot and cold items available. Coffee available 24/7. Overall the hotel was being worked on so there was no carpet in half the hallway on the second floor and one elevator was out of order. The indoor pool was clean and set at a comfortable temperature. There was one diner within walking distance but not many other places to eat nearby other than fast food. Altogether it met our needs very and when the work is completed it will be even better.

Moist rooms. Smell of mildew. Signed an agreement to not smoke in the room or else.....they put us in a room that smelled of smoke. Serious problems with air quality in the hotel.

It was a nice place. Staff were very nice. The beds were comfortable. The only issue I had was in the bathroom I found hair and pubic hair in the tub. Gross!

I found a section of someone's fake eyelashes on the floor, still had the adhesive on it. It was creepy, made me question the cleanliness of the room. But, nothing else was out of order.

Very friendly service. Room was clean. The only thing I can find fault is the room smelled a bit musty. Not sure if the air filter for the ac needed replaced or if water was spilled and that’s what the smell was from. But other then that very nice stay.

We were in Buckhannon, WV for a class reunion and to visit some family. I was no aware of the hotel being in a remodeling project. Our air conditioner leaked and caused our floor to be very wet. The ice machine on the second floor was not in service, the second floor had no flooring when you got off the elevator until you were about 1/2 down the hall. I will probably stay there again however I will make sure it’s remodeling project is complete.

Staff courteous. Furniture in room showing signs of wear. Notified staff of huge gap under room entrance door that I needed to place a towel in front of it to prevent the hallway light from streaming in. Appears a dog may have chewed away at the bottom sweep. Breakfast was good with nice variety

I slept so well with ear plugs. Beds perfect for me. However we were in room 102 next to a mechanical room and my daughter heard loud clunks all night long from the room next door and did not sleep well. The renovation left was minimal. Only the baseboards were missing. It was clean. Off the highway enough not to hear traffic. I highly recommend the place but not room 102. Hot breakfast with French toast eggs sausage,etc

Room was clean - even the carpet. Bathroom was clean and stocked. Bed ws very comfortable. I liked everything about the room except that the mini fridge did not have a freezer compartment for my cold pack. Would stay again.

We did not get the room we booked. The lady at the front desk said our room was two queens so I double checked my reservation and it was a king, not queens. I told her that and she said no we have two queens. We did not argue because it was obviously enough room for us to sleep but it was not what we booked and she didn’t care to look any further after I showed her what my end showed.

They made us leave because we live in the town that's crazy because we didn't know that was a rule they made us feel incredibly bad in front of other guest and my woman was so embarrassed she cried and sat in my car while I was trying to check out absolutely don't recommend the hotel

I've stayed at this property before so I booked it again since the last stay went well. I was not disappointed. The bed was more comfortable than most, although still not as soft as I like. The staff were exceptionally friendly and get accommodating.

They really need to get some new front desk workers because they have no idea what they’re doing. We needed up leaving and going to the Hampton because they couldn’t figure out how to let us pay with cash and not be bound to a credit card.

The hotel location is great and there is a walkable restaurant next door. The staff is very friendly, the beds very comfortable, great TV, and the room very clean. Appreciate how they allow our dog for a reasonable fee. Breakfast was appreciated. Hotel is being renovated so there is a little bit of unfinished feeling to the look inside.

The hotel and our room were lovely. The room was quiet and comfortable. Buckhannon is a lovely town. Very pretty area.

Over all a very pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again. Facility and room very clean. Some minor age reated cosmetics could be repaired. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Pool looked great, although i did not get to enjoy it. Bed was comfortable with clean soft linens. Breakfast was good with a lot of assorted fresh fruit, yogurt, juices , pancakes (although i would prefer waffles).

Property was easily accessible and quiet. Breakfast was adequate but limited. When we checked in, we were shocked at the unkempt appearance of the front desk clerk. Her attire was inappropriate for a front desk employee.

Will happily book this hotel again! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of space in the room and bathroom. Continental breakfast had fresh pancakes and the coffee wasn’t half bad. Directly off the highway.

Very clean, comfortable room. Staff was friendly, great recommendation for dinner spot. Only down side was the breakfast, couldn't cut the pancakes with a knife. We would certainly stay there again

The room itself was clean & comfortable with lots of space. Mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in room. Bathroom was a shower tub combination with body wash, shampoo & conditioner included. Blow dryer and body lotion included by sink with good lighting around mirror. Very good continental breakfast with hot and cold items available. Coffee available 24/7. Overall the hotel was being worked on so there was no carpet in half the hallway on the second floor and one elevator was out of order. The indoor pool was clean and set at a comfortable temperature. There was one diner within walking distance but not many other places to eat nearby other than fast food. Altogether it met our needs very and when the work is completed it will be even better.

My review is not really the hotel's fault. In July the hotel was hit by a flash flood. So, no breakfast, pool or gym. Entire 1st floor is under construction. Also, elevators were down. No warning on Hotel.com. Paid full price. Guess we could have cancelled.

I was disappointed by how little information was provided when I booked. I knew breakfast wouldn’t be available, but I wasn’t told about the unfinished renovations, the plastic tarps blocking parts of the first floor, or the other unavailable amenities. I also received repeated emails about the pet policy, so it was frustrating that the hotel’s condition wasn’t mentioned. The complimentary Wi-Fi was unreliable and kept going in and out. The hotel did offer to let us cancel without a fee, but finding another room that same day would have been very expensive, and nearby hotels were booked. A discount at Huddle House or complimentary snacks and water would have been a thoughtful way to make the stay more accommodating. Michelle, whose name I may not have right, was absolutely wonderful and helpful. I felt bad that she had to handle guests’ frustration over the hotel’s appearance. The room could use some updating, but overall it was acceptable for the price.

Room was clean and a nice size. Hotel was conveniently located off the freeway with good parking. The Huddle House restaurant was just across the street for a good meal. Breakfast was typical hotel but still good!
