The room has been neglected not clean, the water coming out from the tap was horrible, staff were trying to managed the place because they know the place is not good enough. I will never return to the same place again.

Room in good condition but lacks power source (sockets) at the bedside. No reachable spot to charge your phones.

The standard of the hotel isn’t what you’d expect for one in VI and the price. First, I had no hot water in my room, the temperature was lukewarm but I guess manageable. The shower pressure wasn’t great but maintenance came and made it “better” for a while. Second, the water in the bathroom had a slight yellow tint. Guessing pipe issue but I could ignore this as it was only worse with the toilet water. Finally and probably the most egregious was the lack of working WiFi. Nothing upsets me more than a hotel with crappy WiFi, this ruined my stay. The WiFi in the room wasn’t working from the moment I checked in, but a staff member did bring up an MTN modem which I believe had to be topped up. After the 1st day, it ran out and had to be topped up again, Which it was. But when this ran out again on the 3rd day, I felt uncomfortable going back down to request this again so I endured the rest of my time there with no WiFi. There’s absolutely no reason for a hotel to have crappy WiFi. All rooms should have perfectly working WiFi and not have to rely on extra modems. I would advise management to really spend time (and money) fixing these basic amenities. I personally wouldnt stay here again or advise my friends to but best to fix these things for the next guests. The staff members were kind, hence the 3 stars. It would’ve been 2 stars otherwise.

Stayed 22 nights

We booked this hotel for just over 3 weeks, for 2 of those 3 weeks there was no hot water. During our stay a rat was sighted in the shower twice. We constantly had to ask housekeeping for amenities such as toilet roll and shower gel. Even though there were two of us staying in the room, the room was always laid out for one person (e.g. 1 towel, 1 robe, 1 bottle of water etc). The hotel believed that offering us a room that was being refurbished and that was a lot smaller than our original room would somehow remedy the situation. Outside our room was a speaker which played music quite loudly from morning till very late in the evening, which made it difficult to work and rest. At times I was calling the front desk at midnight to request that the music be turned off. I would avoid booking this hotel at all costs as I truly believe it is the worst hotel on Victoria Island. The service is poor and the manager is terrible. I hope no one has to ever experience what we did.
