Such a comfortable stay. Modern, beautifully restored 100 year old hotel, retaining original elements such as pressed metal hallway ceiling. The double room was not large but the bathroom huge. Enjoyed the excellent food by award winning chef in the pub side and there’s also an adjoining restaurant. Will definitely stay again

We only had an overnight stay but the newly refurbished rooms were amazing. Comfortable and warm. We didn’t get to use the facilities in the hotel itself but it looked good. Special mention to their sister hotel who welcomed us with a meal where the Holbrook couldn’t. A short drive and worth it.

We have stayed previously and we were very happy with our accommodation. But this trip we were given room 4 which was very dirty and seemed like a storage room with bar stools in the bathroom. But I must say the restaurant food was wonderful as with our previous visit.

Beautiful room and nice to be able to open the window. Easy stroll to shops and opposite the submarine. The balcony also offers a comfortable area to relax. We enjoyed lunch in the cafe and dinner in the bar. The menu is varied and the food was very good. Again choice of seating added to the comfort of our meals. Customer service was good.

Staff and the room where fabulous, it’s no one’s fault my stay was less than ideal, sadly the noise of the air conditioning units kept me awake all night and I think little can help that

An easy check in and welcomed by a nice, newly renovated room. Very comfy bed, beautiful bathroom - very large and great air conditioning. This hotel/pub is a great option to stay, eat and drink all on the main Holbrook strip. Our room was directly above the bar and this was noisy at times and easy to hear every word of the staff downstairs - even with windows closed. Only other suggestion, please add an iron and ironing board. I’m not marking it down for that as everything else was great. Would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately, I was allocated Room 3. The room was very well presented and clean with all necessities. However, I had very little sleep as the generators and fans situated below the room were a constant noise concern, waking me constantly throughout the night. This left me concerned as I had a long drive to Melbourne the following day. Food and service were good.

We stayed in room number 2. There were 4 air-conditioner units right outside our bedroom window that were going all night. They were so noisy we could hardly sleep. Apart from the noise it was a good stay

The room is not soundproof. We could hear everything from the outside, the music from the bar around the balcony, people walking, chatting, kids playing. We drove from melbourne to sydney, stop half way, exhasuted. We couldnt sleep until midnight.

The furnishings in the room were great. Well beyond its price-point. Comfortable bed, nice linen, tea & coffee making with biscuits etc. Bathrooms are large and modern with good showers and walk in. Only downside is noise... you have to expect it over a pub with noise of an an evening of people enjoying themselves and then the compressor pump when that was finished. I just put on some white noise to sleep. Food in the pub is also great and service friendly. I'd definitely stay again

This place is gorgeous. Rooms are so comfortable and beautifully appointed. Staff were excellent and so helpful. We are in the restaurant, and the meals were absolutely divine. Hope to be back!!

The fridge was in a poor position. its door opened but you had to lean over the door to access the interior.At least change the door to the opposite side. Maybe it was the time of the year, as nice as it was it was a little dearer than other accommodations. For that price poor grade instant coffee leaves a bad taste.

Great restaurant. Food was beautiful. Was good to have a hotel with no pokies, TAB and horse races on every television. Staff needs some training in pouring a beer. 😉

The room was clean and the shower was huge. Bed was comfy too. You must have dinner at the hotel, fantastic feed with local produce.

After the renovation the pub looks fantastic, our need was in excellent condition and was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again

Great renovated building but still with feeling of a country pub. It would be hard to miss the submarine "moored" across the road in the park which is one of the attractions of Holbrook. Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the town.
