Hôtel fonctionnant avec le BASMA "ordinaire", par exemple pour les repas, il faut redescendre à l'hôtel BASMA situé en contre-bas du BASMA CLUB (et donc remonter après...). Assez belle vue sur Assouan et le NIL. Personnel très sympa.

This property is located on top of a small hill in Aswan. The river view from the window is amazing. It’s a new resort which has been operated for three years. The facilities are new and clean. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the dinner at the pool side. It’s a pleasant memory with my patents. The only thing is that you will have to call a cab if you would like to have meals in Aswan downtown.

Chambre spacieuse, confortable, correctement équipée avec un espace salon et une salle de douche agréables. L'hôtel offre une piscine de taille moyenne mais qui pourra être suffisante lors de grosses chaleurs. Autrement, la piscine de l'hôtel Basma juxtaposée (descendre les petits escaliers communiquant) vous offrir un autre cadre tout aussi agréable. L'offre petit déjeuner est toutefois assez maigre et peut (doit) être revue pour offrir une meilleure expérience. Vue incroyable, personnel adorable à nos petits soins (ils ont ramené un gâteau surprise pour l'anniversaire de mon fils), chambre spacieuse et très propre, literie de bonne qualité, salle de bain toute neuve, fruits et pâtisseries nous attendaient dans les chambres, coin piscine très agréable et propre, on en a bien profité aussi... bref, on n'y est resté que 2 nuits mais on y serait bien resté plus longtemps !

The staff were great and helped us arrange a tour. They were very friendly and allowed us to shower before going to the airport. The view from the hotel is amazing. However, because it's so high up, it's not terribly walkable to the sites. The pool area is disappointing and had broken umbrellas and very little shade. I also had to ask for towels. The breakfast is not that great, did not have fruit other than an apple and no cereal. Also, we were told, the espresso machine wasn't working. Overall, I would give it a mediocure rating.

Very small, quiet property. Did what it was needed to do. The bathroom and the hotel in general was a bit run down but the staff was nice. Only stayed for 1 night. Wouldn’t have wanted to stay for more than that. Air condition was cool bed was ok. Nice views

The hotel was wonderful! Very pretty, comfortable and peaceful. Everything was organized and clean. The view of the city from the hotel was beautiful. Staff offered a good service with a lot of hospitality. The restaurant was big and offered a variety of food to enjoy. Overall the stay was amazing. I highly recommended.

Very clean room. Good size, fridge and safe box. The only hotel with heating. Amazing view over the city. Free WiFi with fast upload but mediocre download speed. Open network, blocked VPN, no WhatsApp. TV has good channels but doesn’t stay in upright position as the bolts are loose. Wide bathroom with bathtub. Only one hand towel, no floor mat and water goes all over the floor. The second day got floor mat but only one bath towel. Seems the number of towels in bathroom are limited to a combined three. Had to clean the shower head from deposits as the water was spraying in all directions. Impossible to get steady water temperature. The bathroom fan and the mirror light didn’t work. Bed headrest light falling out of the place, you can see the wires behind. No night table on the left side of the bed. The light switch for left headlight is on the right.

Let me just start by saying the people who work here are wonderful. Having that said, it’s not kept up or cleaned and the rooms were missing key things like coffee. The hardest part was the shower came out with a trickle and quickly switched between scalding and freezing cold. Its a nice property and with some investment, could be better.

The staff was amazing. Very helpful and kind. The location is a little outside of the main area of town, and up a hill, making access to the market tougher (5 min uber). The real complaint is the noise. There was one night where there was a police 'celebration' until 4AM (yes really). This featured loud music and real ammunition being fired off into the sky (yes really). Very noisy.

Great hotel with a beautiful view. The staff were wonderful and everyone was super friendly and helpful. We stayed in the family room with two separate rooms and a kitchenette, 2 baths. The rooms could be updated and the beds aren’t the most comfortable but overall it’s a great value hotel.

Excellent hôtel pour la tranquillité la qualité de la chambre et surtout le service. Choisissez la section executive club. Le personnel est extra. Merci à Merna, Hany et Gerges. Si vous choisissez le gros hôtel attendez vous à un service déplorable.

Excellent place to stay. Hotel is on a hillside with great view of the Nile River below and flood plains. The staff are highly professional. Check in and check out very smooth, no issues. Great breakfast with many options. Will stay again.

This property is located on top of a small hill in Aswan. The river view from the window is amazing. It’s a new resort which has been operated for three years. The facilities are new and clean. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the dinner at the pool side. It’s a pleasant memory with my patents. The only thing is that you will have to call a cab if you would like to have meals in Aswan downtown.

The staff was amazing. Very helpful and kind. The location is a little outside of the main area of town, and up a hill, making access to the market tougher (5 min uber). The real complaint is the noise. There was one night where there was a police 'celebration' until 4AM (yes really). This featured loud music and real ammunition being fired off into the sky (yes really). Very noisy.

Firstly I had booked the room in Basma Executive Club but then down graded me to Basma Hotel without prior intimation. There was no one to pick up my luggage from car until reception area which was under construction and I had no clue where I am going. Reception person offered for free dinner as compensation but it was too late as we had arranged our dinner. He mentioned to speak to his boss and let us know if anything they can do better but obviously no show. The room which I was given had loose doors or windows due to which whole night we could hear the banging of that door or window because of wind. Overall, I was very upset for the amount of money I spent for booking this hotel. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone

Hôtel confortable avec magnifique vue de la terrasse sur le Nil. Nécessité de taxi pour le centre où 15 mn à pied. Je le recommande pour passer qq jours à Assouan, surtout en comparaison des hôtels du centre qui sont sommaires !

The staff were great and helped us arrange a tour. They were very friendly and allowed us to shower before going to the airport. The view from the hotel is amazing. However, because it's so high up, it's not terribly walkable to the sites. The pool area is disappointing and had broken umbrellas and very little shade. I also had to ask for towels. The breakfast is not that great, did not have fruit other than an apple and no cereal. Also, we were told, the espresso machine wasn't working. Overall, I would give it a mediocure rating.

Hôtel fonctionnant avec le BASMA "ordinaire", par exemple pour les repas, il faut redescendre à l'hôtel BASMA situé en contre-bas du BASMA CLUB (et donc remonter après...). Assez belle vue sur Assouan et le NIL. Personnel très sympa.

The hotel was wonderful! Very pretty, comfortable and peaceful. Everything was organized and clean. The view of the city from the hotel was beautiful. El hotel es muy cómodo y muy lindo, tiene servicio de buffet variada la comida, todo bien salvo su costo por la estancia me pareció exageradamente caro muy alto el costo de lo que pagas por el servicio que recibes considerando la cd de Aswan yo hubiera pagado la mitad del costo que maneja este hotel

Small, quiet hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Restaurant in the hotel is pretty good, and there is an additional restaurant just down the hill. It is the same menu, but a change of scenery no less.

Likes: very clean, lots of amenities including microwave, staff is very helpful. View is spectacular! Dislikes: mediocre food, small bathroom and excessive water spills from shower onto bathroom floor. Its a 4.5 for me.

Felt very private and the property has fantastic views of Aswan from up top. That said, it also means it's a bit less convenient to get into town especially by foot. The property is also connected to the main Basma hotel slightly down hill which is bigger and busier, so that's both a private and a potential issue for some. But because the Exec Club is more private, service was more attentive and privacy away from heavy traffic was better.
