Stay was horrendous, although i am healthy and hardly ever have skin related issues, i managed to get severe immediate bacteria infection and allergic reactions upon sleeping on the pillow for 10 minutes. Our first room was at the top floor, which had a great view to be fair, but smelled horribly of urine, so we switched to a room one floor lower, but still smelled equally as bad, which we suspect comes from the centralized air conditioning. The cups and kettle in our room were not cleaned after use by last tenant and still had half drunk water inside them. The next morning when we had to check outx we woke up slightly late as i had a very bad night sleep from the allergic reactions and severe itch. Our checkout time was 11am, but we requested for it to be extended to 12pm politely. Yet rightaround 12pm the reception bombarded our phone for multiple times and was being very impatient with us even though we told them we were packing and ready to checkout very soon. After we returned the card at the reception, the lady receptionist looked at us very rudely and told us to hurry up and checkout next time because there will be an extra incurred fee if we checkout late. i have never faced such rudeness from the hundreds of hotel stays i have made across the world and no i am never coming back, not to mention this night costed 200USD. must acknowledge the kind night reception who helped change our cups and pillows and provided us with an ozone sanitizer to relief our allergies.

酒店比較新，房間整潔，樓下有中菜， 5分鐘步行到地鐵站10分便利。 酒店隔音有待改善，酒店用毛巾及洗頭水有異味，建議洗頭水沖涼液改用即棄式。

房間內床單被鋪有漬、水杯唔夠乾淨！

九龍から少し離れていますが、綺麗でコスパの良いホテル。スタッフの対応も良い。デポジットの500香港ドルは日本円10000円で対応していただけました。チェックアウト時にその10000円を返却してくれます。

MTR in walking distance. Authentic area around. Room could be cleaned up better. Especially dust on shining surfaces - thats very visible. Shower was not a reason shower as mentioned in the description. Furniture is not that practical to use.

Hotel looks new and clean. Location is good with many local eateries, shopping and is near MTR station. Staff were friendly, helpful and responsive. Near coach service for day trip to Zhuhai/Macau.

酒店入口很細，房間沒有蒸餾水提供，有一點意外。但房間是乾淨的，大小適中。

Hotel room is very clean. Staff is very polite. The noise on the street can be annoying.

部屋が広いしシャワーも水圧も良いし温度調整もできたし快適でした。

Very nice and clean room with a lot of USB outlets. Overall design is bright and modern, much more advance than 1936.

20th floor the noise from the overpass is bothersome.

This is one of those typical small room hotels in Hong Kong which was an experience to live in such a tight space! It’s a convenient location close to market, food options and short walking distance to the MTR. The air con wasn’t working properly in the room but luckily it was only 2 nights so we managed to get by. Overall it was a nice clean hotel to spend a couple of days.

Lower level unit is noisy being close to a major overpass with lots of cars driving through it.

convenient location in a bustling (in a good way) neighbourhood, lots of shops and eateries, great view of the lovely flower market, Tai Hang Tung playground and the mountains. Staff members were very nice and helpful. Room was spacious. Art deco theme decor was a nice touch.

It was a short walk from the Metro Station and close to shopping and food. Room offered a view of the surrounding buildings.

A really nice, well equipped, 19th floor room with a good view and all necessary comforts. We had two stays here, before and after a week in Japan. We booked and stayed the second time because we liked the hotel the first time, if that makes sense. Hotel staff were exceptional and keen.

There’s a lingering faint smell in the room and I think it’s the carpet. Bed is not comfortable and AC is very loud even though the wind speed is set at lowest

We chose the hotel because of its location as we were attending the World Under 20 Womens Lacrosse tournament. The hotel was very close to 3 of the stadiums used for the event, very convenient walking distance to MTR , markets in Fayuen Street, and local eating places. Additionaly a very good supermarket right next to the hotel for cold drinks, nibbles etc with numerous bakeries and a huge flower market very adjacen. A boutique hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. May not suit everbody but we considered it excellent value.

GOOD: Locate very close to Prince MTR station, the check in person was very good and helpful. NOT SO GOOD: the night attendant was not, almost close to unreasonable, requesting me and my visitors(2) not to move the chairs while we were using them, even though I did return the chairs to its place after our first use.

Excellent and tentative staff, you can leave your luggage ahead of check in, prime convenient location central to the flower market, local shops and eatery. Will return to book next time.

The hotel is good but very hard to find their gate

The hotel is a little difficult to find initially and transport by car not too convenient. Other than the above, all else are perfect. Shopping and dining options are plenty.

Was a little hard to find since the hotel signboard blends into the shop houses next to it. But overall very good experience and the view from 17th floor was really nice.

地理位置幾方便, 對正花墟之餘離太子站同旺角東都好近

This is a unique hotel. Modern, looks newly built, but with an early 1900\'s facade, which was an original colonial era building from that time. Inside the theme of the place is in line with a similar era, hence the name of the hotel being "Hotel 1936", I guess. Once inside, it\'s like going back in time, but with a modern touch and the latest amenities. Okay the rooms are not the largest, but big enough. there is no restaurant, but lots just nearby, together with so many shops, a market and numerous other things to do. I must add that being local and living quite nearby, I have watch with interest how the original building has been transformed and then extended by adding a high-rise to make a hotel. It only opened quite recently, and due to Covid and the lack of tourists at this time, the place is still virtually brand new. After seeing it being built, I always wanted the chance to stay there, so when I needed a place to stay while my apartment was being refurbished, I decided to give it a try. Now I\'m looking for another excuse to stay there again, even though I only live just down the road!
