Die Anlage war traumhaft schön und auch die Zimmer sind sehr schön gestaltet. Der Pool ist ein Traum mit Blick auf den "Berg". Es gab viele verschiedene Restaurantmöglichkeiten in der Anlage und der öffentliche Strand liegt direkt vor der Tür mit eigenen Hotelliegen.

An amazing place to stay! Staff couldn’t do enough and the food is incredible. Having a coral reef right on our beach was just the best. We saw an amazing array of fish and a juvenile bull shark whilst snorkeling with the guide from the hotel. Wonderful memories that will stay with us forever.

Pros - The resort is nice, and the beach is beautiful! It also has a kids' club, which is quite a welcome respite for the little ones. Cons - The food is average at best, and definitely not worth the prices. Also, there are only two restaurants open in the afternoon. The service is a hit or miss. Some staff are super friendly and helpful, especially around kids, while some are curt and not very helpful.

Mycket bra hotell. Trevlig personal. Hade all inclusive. Mycket generöst. Bra snorkling utanför hotellet. Väldigt kompetent biolog och snorkeltjej som följde med ut och guidade. Såg sköldpaddor.

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr weitläufig und liegt direkt am langen Sandstrand. Die Auswahl und Qualität der Speisen am Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind gross und die Betten gross und bequem. Leider sind die Zimmereinrichtung und die Bäder am Ende ihrer Lebensdauer und renovationsbedürftig! Die Dusche in unserem Zimmer liess sich nur sehr mühsam bedienen. Die Mahlzeiten abends am Buffet waren nur durchschnittlich, sowohl von der Auswahl, als auch von der Qualität. Da haben wir in vergleichbaren Hotels auf den Seychellen besser gegessen. Die Liegen am Strand sind eine Zumutung! Abgenutzt, schmutzig und zum Teil defekt und somit unbrauchbar. Die Anzahl der Liegen ist zu gering! Alles in allem verdient dieses Hotel leider keine 5 Sterne!

The staff from reception to housekeeping to restaurants was exceptional. The property is large but easily navigated. We loved the easy access to the beach and the beach loungers. Really an exceptional experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful hotel and rooms. Walkable to the only “town” on Mahe. Great beach and perfect pool. Yummy breakfast. Great relaxing spa. 35 min to airport!

Very nice location on the beach but the beach is very busy with public access. Good facilities with gym, tennis restaurants etc. Nice bar. Sadly we found it dirty in places and the general areas were a bit úsed'. our room was nice but again not very clean( shower mouldy )_ Staff were good and helpful but let down by the state of things, we left early an were re-imbursed for nights not spent( although we were offered an upgrade it was not what we were looking for) plenty of other places to stay that were better, we stayed in two others for the duration of our stay and they were great.

The staff were brilliant and the customer service we received during our stay was fantastic. Neige was particularly sweet on our check-in. The attention to detail regarding the reason for our stay ie honeymoon and my birthday was very much appreciated, our thanks to the team. The hotel grounds are beautiful. The room we had was perfect for us and a very nice view over the pool and beach. The only negatives I can point out were housekeeping services were not up to standard, each time they cleaned the room, it was obvious it was a very quick fix and not properly cleaned and the other negative was the food, not only extraordinarily expensive but we struggled for our 9 nights stay because we did not enjoy the food in none of the 3 restaurants they have and we did not want to pay 60 euros per person for the buffet dinner restaurant as it seemed excessive plus that restaurant was always mostly empty which I think could be avoided if a more reasonable price was set. Other than these two aspects we did love everything else and we recommend this place wholeheartedly.

The grounds of this hotel are beautiful, the pool area and the mountains in the background are just devine! Absolutely loved it. Large spacious rooms and ours had a lovely view of the gardens. Staff were pleasant and everything was really clean. Would visit again. Beach was also beautiful. Food was great at the japenese and trader vics.excellent cocktails

The hotel is in an excellent location. Lovely beach. Walking distance to amenities like supermarket. Room was spacious very clean and comfortable. Got a hard pillow when requested. Dining options very good. Staff very helpful and friendly. What could be improved is mattresses on sunbeds and real milk for coffee in room.

I enjoyed my stay at the Story. Rooms are well appointed, bed and pillows were amazing. Our room had issues with hot water - it worked for one day when i complained but the next day was back to luke warm. This is not a good thing. Pool is great. Beach area is small. Breakfast was good but limited if staying for more than a few days. Food in the restaurants is very expensive and we ate out each night. Finally i was disappointed with the policy of not refunding for lost nights. Our flight was delayed and we arrived 2 days later than our reservation. They would not give us a refund even though this was not our fault. There was no compensation offered and i find this quite annoying for a 5 star hotel. Check-in could have gone more smoothly.

Finally i was disappointed with the policy of not refunding for lost nights. Our flight was delayed and we arrived 2 days later than our reservation. They would not give us a refund even though this was not our fault. There was no compensation offered and i find this quite annoying for a 5 star hotel. Check-in could have gone more smoothly.

Amazing hotel at Beau Vallon beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice and spacious rooms. Ours had an amazing view toward the mountains. Great breakfast and nice restaurants. Absolutely nothing to complain about. We had a perfect week!

Unfortunately, our stay with you at STORY was anything but good, and that is what this review will reflect. We had the misfortune of living in a "house" with screaming toddlers who cried all night. We could not use the balcony at any time during our stay because one/some of the neighbors were smoking cigars/cigarettes so it smelled awful. Even if we just opened the balcony door, a smell came into the room. This was something I was in contact with STORY about during our stay as well, but since there was "only one night left" there was never any talk of changing to another house/villa. Other reflections that cannot reflect such an expensive 5-star hotel: We tried to book a table at the Japanese restaurant, sometime during our three nights. But all the times were fully booked, so there was no chance for us to eat there. We showered in cold water every night. There was also no hot water in the bathtub or in the sink. Ordering/pressing the button at the pool worked very poorly. We had to push 4-5 times before any of the staff came to us, and this was outside of prime-time. The coffee at breakfast was automatic coffee - also the cappuccino. You might think that an expensive 5-star hotel like this should be able to have a barista making the coffee. The cleaning staff changed our pillows after the second night. Why do we wonder? From having two hard and two soft pillows in the bed, all of a sudden we got four super soft pillows that made it impossible to have a good night.

We've stayed at the Story hotel around New Year tome for 5 days. Very comfortable rooms with cosy beds, spacious bathrooms and great balconies to enjoy the views of the ocean, swimming pool and the courtyard. Nice surrounding area of Beau Vallon Beach with restaurants and all sorts of stores

STORY was the 5th of 5 hotels we stayed at on our Seychelles honeymoon. The grounds were beautiful and lush, the beach was easily accessible and the pools looked nice although we didn’t use them. Communication with the hotel was a challenge prior to arrival as they didn’t respond to any emails, and while their the WhatsApp messaging service - similarly non-responsive. Oddly the room was designed for 2 twin beds, but they pushed the 2 together to call it a King Room. The bathroom door was half opaque meaning that the top third the door was see-through which was an odd design. They were wonderfully accommodating to our dietary restrictions. They made gf pancakes on the spot for my husband, and had special vegan menus at Eden and Trader Vic’s. Get the Mai Tai at Trader Vic’s!! Overall a wonderful stay aside from those small things

The overall place was lovely, the rooms were good minus the fact the bathroom is fully open to the room with a door you can see through when going to the toilet, if you are going to a number 2, the other person can see you! Gluten free options were a struggle at this hotel, we gave some advice to staff but I had a few issues with being glutened. It's probs one to avoid if you are coeliac. 'Soy sauce' has gluten in!

The grounds of this hotel are beautiful, the pool area and the mountains in the background are just devine! Absolutely loved it. Large spacious rooms and ours had a lovely view of the gardens. Staff were pleasant and everything was really clean. Would visit again. Beach was also beautiful. Food was great at the japenese and trader vics.excellent cocktails

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr weitläufig und liegt direkt am langen Sandstrand. Die Auswahl und Qualität der Speisen am Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind gross und die Betten gross und bequem. Leider sind die Zimmereinrichtung und die Bäder am Ende ihrer Lebensdauer und renovationsbedürftig! Die Dusche in unserem Zimmer liess sich nur sehr mühsam bedienen. Die Mahlzeiten abends am Buffet waren nur durchschnittlich, sowohl von der Auswahl, als auch von der Qualität. Da haben wir in vergleichbaren Hotels auf den Seychellen besser gegessen. Die Liegen am Strand sind eine Zumutung! Abgenutzt, schmutzig und zum Teil defekt und somit unbrauchbar. Die Anzahl der Liegen ist zu gering! Alles in allem verdient dieses Hotel leider keine 5 Sterne!

The hotel is in an excellent location. Lovely beach. Walking distance to amenities like supermarket. Room was spacious very clean and comfortable. Got a hard pillow when requested. Dining options very good. Staff very helpful and friendly. What could be improved is mattresses on sunbeds and real milk for coffee in room.

Good hotel with friendly staff, but inability to fix a room lock despite numerous reminders reduces our rating. All of a sudden we were completely locked out of one of our rooms, which happened several times during the stay. Furthermore, we booked a sightseeing trip with the reception desk, but on the actual date the driver didn’t show up. The hotel kept claiming that the tour was booked but at the end it was clear to us that no booking had been made.

I just returned from this lovely hotel. It was my first visit to the Seychelles and I purposely booked somewhere which is located on one of the best beaches and access to other restaurants Upon arrival from the UK we were offered our room quite quickly. Neige went through the details of the hotel and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool was just dreamy, always clean warm and amazing views of the beach on one side and the green mountains on the other The staff around the beach and pool were always happy and willing to help. Lallit was particularly helpful and took some great Picts of us at the beach at sunset - thank you! We visited Trader Vics - food was ok and a little pricey for the portions provided. Our favourite restaurant was Seyshima. There are only 4 members of staff running the entire restaurant - but my goodness what great team work. I was blown away. The food service and ambience was perfect every time we ate here. Aye & Tanya we’re particularly brilliant to say the least. They suggested great recommendations on what to order - they spoke highly of how well they are treated by the resort and that was really heart warming to hear. It was my birthday , the hotel provided a lovely cake and beautiful decor on my birthday which was greatly appreciated Thank you so much for a truly memorable stay

Väldigt lyxigt med vänlig personal. Hotellet låg precis vid stranden, lättillgänglig för snorkling eller andra vattenaktiviteter. Vi såg även andra hotell i området men föredrar detta! Väldigt fräscht!

Amazing stay at Story as our home base to explore the Seychelles. The rooms were very clean, the food at the restaurants was high quality for an island (we particularly liked Trader Vick’s and their Asian restaurant for dinner), the property was in great shape with a nice boutique vibe as well. The concierge helped us find a nice taxi driver that we used throughout our stay and he was extremely reliable on pickup times for the airport and excursions. They also helped us arrange a day trip to La Digue island, which was amazing. We found the beach the hotel island to be the most swimmable since calm with limited rocks compared to other beaches especially La Digue where some of the more famous beaches are. Definitely plan on coming back to the Seychelles and would stay here again for sure.

Very nice location on the beach but the beach is very busy with public access. Good facilities with gym, tennis restaurants etc. Nice bar. Sadly we found it dirty in places and the general areas were a bit úsed'. our room was nice but again not very clean( shower mouldy )_ Staff were good and helpful but let down by the state of things, we left early an were re-imbursed for nights not spent( although we were offered an upgrade it was not what we were looking for) plenty of other places to stay that were better, we stayed in two others for the duration of our stay and they were great.

Mycket trevligt hotell! Väldigt välskött och fint. Personalen är otroligt hjälpsam och vänlig. Stranden är härlig och här går att få skugga under träden för den som vill. Ingen trängsel alls. Du får din favoritplats att ställa solbädden på. Det enda negativa är maten. De gör anspråk på att servera mat av hög klass, men ror inte iland det. Kockarna har ingen koll. Man får betala alldeles för mycket och det smakar inte särkilt bra. Undvik restaurangen Seyshima, där teppanyaki-kocken jonglerar med sina verktyg och ser mycket proffsig ut, men det du får på tallriken smakar som en sämre lunchrestaurang. Sammantaget ett mycket fint hotell men dålig och dyr mat.

Beautiful hotel which was perfect for our honeymoon. The attention to detail, tips, quality of food and amenities, and luxurious decor were perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and a special shoutout to chef Suresh, waiting staff Manish and Aye who took extra care to look after us on our tete-a-tete one year anniversary dinner, Seyshima and breakfast. Another special shoutout to pool staff Santhian and Jerry who helped us with everything pool and beach-related. I have written a seperate review for Seyshima so I’ll write about the tete-a-tete, Trader Vic’s (cool fusion restaurant with live music), Eden, and Vasco’s (buffet restaurant) over here. Tete-a-tete: all four courses were served perfectly cooked with the texture appropriate for the cuisine as well as the produce used. The food items were cooked to the right standard fitting for a special occasion. Manish was a great camera man for us as well, getting all the right photos in too. For the price, this is certainly worth it for the right occasion. Trader Vic’s: The atmosphere matched the drinks and the food in terms of the best of qualities. Again, the waiting staff were generous with wanting us to have the best experience. The live musician had all the couples up cha-chaing between drinking. Perfect for all couples/groups. Eden: Another great restaurant by the pool which serves up their more luxurious food. The waiting staff was proactive and made sure we were recommended food to our preference. Vasco’s: Great

Hotel is OVERPRICED for what it offers, definitely not a 5 star, service average some staff are not friendly at all, they seems to doing a favor for you. Breakfast is the worst part, coffee is terrible, fruits are limited and tasteless.

Ristorante buffet Vasco’s ha un qualità di cibo per la cena che giudicherei a limite e comunque non per un hotel 5 stelle. Anche il servizio è poco professionale. All’apertura si trovano tutti i piatì pronti e pieni ma man mano che le personae arrivano e si servono non vengono riempiti i piatì così che se arrivi tardi non hai più scelta. I prezzi sono molto alti. La colazione va bene e il cuocco è molto bravo nel preparare le uova in vari modi. Il personale alla piscina e alla spiaggia ed in generale il personale di supporto è molto cordiale . La location dell’hotel è una delle migliori sull’isola di Mahé

Amazing stay at Story as our home base to explore the Seychelles. The rooms were very clean, the food at the restaurants was high quality for an island (we particularly liked Trader Vick’s and their Asian restaurant for dinner), the property was in great shape with a nice boutique vibe as well. The concierge helped us find a nice taxi driver that we used throughout our stay and he was extremely reliable on pickup times for the airport and excursions. They also helped us arrange a day trip to La Digue island, which was amazing. We found the beach the hotel island to be the most swimmable since calm with limited rocks compared to other beaches especially La Digue where some of the more famous beaches are. Definitely plan on coming back to the Seychelles and would stay here again for sure.

The grounds of this hotel are beautiful, the pool area and the mountains in the background are just devine! Absolutely loved it. Large spacious rooms and ours had a lovely view of the gardens. Staff were pleasant and everything was really clean. Would visit again. Beach was also beautiful. Food was great at the japenese and trader vics.excellent cocktails

Check-in beaucoup trop long, on a du faire réactiver nos cartes de chambres 2 fois. Très belle chambre. Des services au top: des serviettes pour la piscine et aussi pour se rendre sur les plages- ne pas en apporter- nombreux transats. restauration un peu chère : préférence pour take away en face. Petit déjeuner excellent et diversifié. Très beau cadre et belle plage de Beauvallon au top pour la baignade.

Amazing Hotel Amazing staff Best Hotel in the Seychelles so far The service is 100/10 Andrew helped us a lot!! All staff are super friendly We didn't have to get out of the resort because they have everything to chill! Every night new events! Will definitely come back!

First thing you do - check all reviews online for truthfulness. About 90% of all existing reviews of this place on TA are written by accounts that have one posting. Draw your conclusions accordingly. At the hotel check-in was friendly, room (Beach Villa with plunge pool) was clean, functional, nothing posh. Fixtures worn out, water pressure soso..the place was run as Hilton before and so the setup still makes sense, but the new owners probably never ran a 5star under competition before. When you take a closer look you will see things are worn out. Food was a straightforward disaster except the onsite Japanese place. Breakfast did mange to go south every day and the wine list is a bummer..staff is non attentive nor trained, good half forgets orders and the food is cheapest wholesale (we went to other places and were able to get the quality we were looking for at half price, still overpriced but at spot). They seemingly try to make 10x margin on everything they sell to you. Food quality is at best 3star. To be fair staff is trying their best but probably it´s worth considering to hire ONE international senior chef into the team if 90% of guests are international. The "Pina Colada" i got at 8pm looked exactly same at 8am next day, with the foam still there, talk about no preservatives added :-)) I am feeling sad for those who saved to make such trip. I just lost a week i could have spend in NYC or elsewhere. Go Four Seasons and sleep well. That said, Good Bye and Good Luck.
