The property is very close to the Pantheon with lots of dining options available in walking distance. Be prepared to walk up 2 flights of stairs with your luggage to get to the unit. There is no elevator. The safety deposit box in our unit did not work, the mini fridge was not very cool and there was nowhere we could get ice for our drinks on a very hot 36 degree day.

Great location in the centre of the city. Literally a street away from pantheon and streets leading to all main sights of Rome. The property was perfect with an entrance and view onto the Main Street. Comfy beds and very clean. We were able to leave our luggage in reception area at check out until later in the day as we had a late flight. As a consideration. This is an unmanned property. We did encounter an issue where the upper door handle into the apartment block was broken and we could not get in at 11pm using the key code. Another guest responded to our banging and let us in. They also had difficulty opening the door. The door was then left open/ adjar as it’s clearly an issue. Not a security risk as all other Doors into apartments have secure locks but could have resulted in us being locked out all night! Hopefully this is now fixed as we did have to contact the staff at the time to see if they could get someone locally to let us in?

Es un airbnb, tienes que subir escaleras hasta un tercer piso (no hay elevador). Ahi hay una pequeña recepción pero casi nunca hay alguien, creo que solo en las mañanas, si llegas por la tarde noche, te dan claves para acceder a tu habitación. Lo único que tiene 100% a su favor es la ubicación. Lleno de restaurantes en esa calle y mucha gente por ahí.

The hotel was in the heart of activity and walkable to major attractions. Quiet at night. Our stay was clean and comfy. Drawbacks were the huge flight of stairs with luggage and complicated door locks combinations to enter the building. But if safety is a priority, I will take 3 safety locks to be secure.

The stairs are a nightmare and should be made clear in the hotel description !!!! We are seniors 70 & 76 with health issues and I would not have booked this place if I knew there was no elevator !!!!

The property is perfectly placed for walking to all major attractions and multiple restaurants. HOWEVER if you need assistance it is nearly impossible to contact anyone as there is no staff on premises. Also very tricky to access the property and room due to electronic locks. The location is fabulous. The price for the place is great. But be aware that there’s no elevator. It’s written in additional information. Not the place to stay if you have a lot of lugguage or small children or have trouble with stairs. But again the price and location is great esp if you’re traveling light or if you’re young.

The rooms are large and beautiful. Autonomous check in. The only caveat is there is no elevator, so if you have luggage, then 45 steep steps is difficult . If you are young and fit, no problem. Located a couple hundred feet from the Pantheon, so lots of dining, and easy to get a taxi. The owners are very gracious and accommodating

We hit the jackpot with this hotel. The location Was perfect and though it was bustling, it gave us the quintessential Rome experience. The room was comfortable and clean, and our view of the street was perfect (the sound deadening window was handy as the restaurants stay open late). We were sad to leave, we will certainly book this location again.

This hotel is in a great position and walking distance from the Pantheon and Trevi fountain. Shops and restaurants and cafes literally outside the front door which is very handy after a long day of sightseeing. The property itself was unstaffed and is self check in. Details are sent prior to arrival and all went smoothly. We had a very nice clean room and decor is nice too. Only downside in my opinion was there was no view outside the bedroom window, just looked out onto ac units and the backs of other properties which made it very dark inside. Having said that, it’s in Rome so you don’t go there to sit in your room! Would definitely visit again as very convenient location.

Dear Charme & Chic Team, My wife and I stayed at your hotel from April 12th to 15th, as part of our honeymoon trip to Rome. While we appreciated the central location and proximity to many attractions, we unfortunately had several issues that significantly impacted our stay. Upon arrival, we were surprised to discover there was no elevator, especially after coming off a week-long cruise with two 60lb suitcases. It would have been helpful to know this in advance, as it made checking in quite difficult. Once in the room, we were disappointed by a few things. The bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable, and there was only one flat pillow per person, which led to poor sleep and waking up in pain. More concerning, however, was that the room constantly vibrated throughout the night. It was strong enough to cause items to fall off surfaces, and we barely got any rest. We’re not sure if this was an issue with just our room or the entire building. Additionally, we encountered several spiders in the room (I have photos) and were bitten multiple times by mosquitoes, even though we kept the windows closed. This made the room feel unhygienic and uncomfortable. We did attempt to mention our concerns to the staff member we saw on the first day, but we didn’t see him again during our stay and had no other way to communicate with anyone onsite. Overall, we felt very disappointed, especially as this was supposed to be a special and memorable time for us. We tried to make the most of it.

Fantastic room, well designed with a large bathroom (shower only), two sinks, air conditioned bedroom with a small fridge and very welcoming and friendly staff. There is one TV with Netflix, one chair and a couch which becomes a bed. The location is above a busy street, filled with outdoor dining, street vendors and occasional buskers. It is incredibly central and in walking distance of most of Rome’s major attractions and it is the location that you are mostly paying for. The downside is it can be a little noisy late at night but it’s worth it for the atmosphere and location. My only gripe with the property is that calling this a suite is simply not true and Expedia claimed that it had a separate sitting room which it doesn’t. The sofa bed is on top of the main bed and travelling with a !6 year old who likes his own space we felt very aggrieved at being misled by the website description and would never have booked this room if we had known. It led to a lot of stress and very little sleep which spoiled our trip but it is suitable for a younger family or adults who don’t mind sharing. Once you know this I would highly recommend it as a great base from which to explore Rome.

The rooms are not soundproof, and the shower entry doors in all the rooms are too small—too small for a regular female. Otherwise, it's a good value for the money at a great location. The fact that they don't have an elevator is not a big issue unless you have health problems.

The location was perfect!! Easy to walk everywhere. Only minus was the sound proofing. If you are lucky you will have the good neighbors (as we had), if not you do not sleep. Nice restaurants around :)

Very good room and great location to walk to many attractions including the Pantheon, Spanish Steps etc. Room was large, comfortable, and well lit. Staff friendly and helpful. Unusual door locks so make sure you get a tutorial on how to use - very easy once you understand them. Only issue preventing me from giving the room a 5 star was the weak shower pressure which hopefully can be addressed.

Not a good choice if sleep is important to you. There was very little soundproofing so other guests coming and going disturbed our sleep. The worst part was some kind of machinery that started up in the downstairs restaurant at 5 AM. It was like laying on a vibrating bed with a woodpecker attacking the wall beside us. Otherwise the room was reasonably clean and comfortable. The location was excellent!

Fantastic location in the heart of Ancient Rome. 50m from the Pantheon! Beautiful room and bathroom. Good a/c. Clean. Quiet. Steps to restaurants, shopping and all of the major sites - Trevi, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Pantheon etc. Lots of stairs inside the building to get to the B&B, but not a deal breaker. Highly recommend! Also, LOTS of gelato shops close byto choose from!

This hotel is in a great position and walking distance from the Pantheon and Trevi fountain. Shops and restaurants and cafes literally outside the front door which is very handy after a long day of sightseeing. The property itself was unstaffed and is self check in. Details are sent prior to arrival and all went smoothly. We had a very nice clean room and decor is nice too. Only downside in my opinion was there was no view outside the bedroom window, just looked out onto ac units and the backs of other properties which made it very dark inside. Having said that, it’s in Rome so you don’t go there to sit in your room! Would definitely visit again as very convenient location.

Great B&B 1 block from the Pantheon! Awesome location with plenty of restaurants and gelato options. No one is at the reception desk, but everything was communicated through WhatsApp which was no hindrance. We were able to get transportation ask questions and received answers right away with Luca. We will definitely stay here our next visit to Rome!

Nice room but only a room. This is not a hotel and that was not made evident when I booked. Check in was virtual and far from seamless. If you just want a room, it’s fine. If you want an experience, it’s not your place.

The property is perfectly placed for walking to all major attractions and multiple restaurants. HOWEVER if you need assistance it is nearly impossible to contact anyone as there is no staff on premises. Also very tricky to access the property and room due to electronic locks. The property is kept well, the beds are comfortable BUT multiple steps to climb and carry your luggage. No elevator or lift

During the day there was a noise and vibration that made everything shake, I reported this but was never given a reason for this nor was the issue ever addressed. It took them several days to respond so I was already vacated the property by the time I received a reply. There are about 50 steps leading up to the unit and no elevator, this was not clear on their website. I would not stay here again

Not great communication with owner. No one was around to ask question. Location was fabulous but had 3 flight of stairs and we are traveling for 4 weeks and only stayed there 1 night, so inconvenient. Hotels.com did not make it apparent that this was not a hotel. Also hard location if you have lots of bags.

This was a great location and walkable to everything! There was so much around the area and it was easy to navigate, even to the main attractions. For two women in their early 20s I also can’t stress enough how safe we felt! This place is amazing and I’d recommend it highly to anyone.

Amazing place! , chick ,spacious, beautifully decorated, restaurants-and cafes right there , and the best of the best …. Not even a minute walking you will encounter the marvelous Pantheon.

Fantastic location in the heart of Ancient Rome. 50m from the Pantheon! Beautiful room and bathroom. Good a/c. Clean. Quiet. Steps to restaurants, shopping and all of the major sites - Trevi, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Pantheon etc. Lots of stairs inside the building to get to the B&B, but not a deal breaker. Highly recommend! Also, LOTS of gelato shops close byto choose from!

We booked this hotel not knowing how close it was to basically all places we wanted to visit. This hotel is literally in the heart of Rome, we managed to walk to all places and more than plenty of great places to eat. Definitely a great stay.

Really nice facility. Very spacious for Rome standards. Issue was I had booked the Jr. Suite and when I arrived they put me in the smallest and hottest room they have. Staff was unable to figure out what happened. They moved me to a standard room which is a nice room. What upset me was that they did not offer me a partial refund for the smaller rooms. I still had to pay the rate of the Jr. Suite. Very disappointed in my stay. Unfortunately after staying at this property many times over the years, I will not be coming back.

Fomos alocados em um quarto no terraço do prédio. Após subir todas as escadas até o andar do hotel, ainda tivemos que ir para área externa e subir uma escada metálica que dava acesso ao nosso quarto. O quarto não condizia com 99% das fotos apresentadas. Havia apenas 1 foto, dentre todas do site, que mostrava o quarto. Sendo este completamente diferente dos outros quartos. O box fica dentro do próprio quarto, com apenas uma parede de vidro, sem qualquer privacidade para tomar banho. A energia caiu diversas vezes durante a estadia em momentos que estávamos no quarto, sendo que a maior parte do dia ficávamos na rua.

Loved the location. Many stairs to climb to get to the room, but we travel pretty light so not much of an issue. The photos do make the space seem larger than it is. The toilet seat was unattached and not fixed during our short stay. The "hotel" is a central room, with an unmanned desk, and several (3?) guest rooms each with private baths. Our neighboring guests were not very polite and arrived home very loudly late at night. This is not really the fault of the hotel, but be advised that it is a shared space, and your experience my vary. It would be ideal for a stay if all 3 accommodations were rented by a large family, or friend group.
