Modern Harpers Ferry Cabin w Hot Tub Deck WiFi

A nice quiet location in the wooded section of Shannondale above the Shenandoah River and close to Harpers Ferry. This four bedroom house is a good family stay for a few nights while visiting the Harpers Ferry area and enjoying any river activities.

We chose this mountain home for our group, 5 adults, 2 kids and a dog. We were in the area for a family event in Leesburg VA and we also wanted to explore the area since we had never been. The size was fine for us. The host Tony was incredibly attentive. We did have a couple of issues that required addressing and it was Tony’s caring that put this property squarely in 5 star territory. Other reviews mention the freezer door not be able to be fully opened, yes but it was usable and definitely not a deal breaker. The home is non smoking, however the close proximity of an outdoor smoking neighbor made the front porch at times a bit unpleasant and inside could detect a faint smell of cigarettes. We visited in June and the home AC with ceiling fans kept us comfortable. We eventually got to use the hot tub, but it needed servicing , wish we had checked upon arrival to get that ball rolling faster. Overall we would recommend this home and especially this host.

The place is very nice and feels secure and welcoming. The host is truly committed to a very nice and relaxing stay. The hot tub was amazing and worked well and was very clean and easy to use. The whole house is clean and plenty of towels and hot water for showers. Nice fire pit to use with relaxing chairs and we had nice fire going at night. Privacy overall is great. AC worked great and ceiling fans worked well. The kitchen has everything you need. There is delivery for food from DoorDash and they found the place easily. About 20 mins from historic Harper's Ferry town and lots of nice walking trails there, can even go walk the battlefield area at the Farm, which was super cool. Also, about 15 mins from Charles Town and the good-sized casino there and Starbucks and big supermarket. There is a small country store 5 mins down the road too.We enjoyed the stay very much and was especially relaxing because the host has taken care of everything. The area is overall quiet and zero problems there. There are some rough gravel country roads in to the location, but just go slow and it was no problem.

This was an amazing cabin to stay in with my family! It was very spacious for a cabin and very cozy. 10 out of 10 for the hospitality from our host who couldn’t have been more accommodating and I was very impressed with the host and the communication I received about my stay. Tony (Host) was so sweet and he made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. It was a great value for our family and we are 10 out of 10 pleased with our accommodations. From the fire pit where we had family s’mores to the relaxing hot tub that I definitely needed, it was worth it. The cabin is very clean and everything was provided to make our stay easier. The cabin was easy to find and was in the perfect location for us to adventure out to the places we wanted to take our son. My whole family agrees we would definitely stay here again!
