The room appeared to have been recently redecorated. All fixtures were in very good condition. Breakfast was good--waffles, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, pastries, and fruit. Employees checked food regularly and replaced items with new. Paved parking lot is a little small (or I was there on an unusually busy weekend), but there is a truck parking lot behind the building. Not a luxury hotel, but a very nice value for the price.

Surprisingly, the rooms are very nice. I’ve stayed here multiple visits for work and I’m always pleased. The halls are outdated and the laundry room is out of order; which is a huge con for me but other than that, my stays have always been pleasant.

The hallways and room door exteriors were run down. They made us tack an extra $150 deposit onto our room at check-in on case of unexpected damages. They promised to refund it after check out if no damage. I'm 70 y.o. Btw. Inside the room was clean and comfortable except for mold on the shower caulking. Bathroom fan did not work. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was the usual and it was pretty good except for the scrambled eggs were water soaked. People who ranked this hotel above 8 are definitely not seasoned travelers.

Overall poor. Breakfast not manned. Dining area dirty. Soggy powdered eggs. Yogurt no stocked. Elevator was beat up. Facility Laundry room doors open several times when I was trying to get on the elevator. Poor impression of the whole state of the place. Sign marking location entrance was not at the correct place on the road. Door was sloppy, which allowed lots of noise from other residents. Door key had to be re-scanned to get it to let me in.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The property itself is falling apart. (Chipped paint, old elevator, scary hallways.) Not a lot of parking. I had to park around the side of building and walk in the dark and rain.

Just an average hotel. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The elevator was very small and slow. Not much for parking. If the hotel is busy, you may have to park in the side lot where the buses, vans, work trucks park. The breakfast was horrible. You could definitely tell the scrambled eggs were powdered eggs. The gravy was questionable.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Good shower pressure. Great breakfast with eggs, tasty sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, cereal, bagels, muffins, waffles. Close to the interstate and various restaurants.

You have a better bet of safety underneath the bridge crossing into Indiana. Upon looking at reviews after we booked, we noticed the same bullet hole that pierces our window of the same room 7 months ago from a previous resident. The sheets were stained with blood in places to make it almost as if a crime scene had taken place here, and we are detectives on the case. Along with our case we have to solve, we had a moldy bathroom ceiling and walls along with mysterious stains along the box springs as well. Hellen Keller could have done a better job cleaning for our stay.

The night staff was very rude and seemed put out that we were even there. All bed sheets and comforters were stained/dirty. Did not have adequate staff in the morning, one person in charge or check out and all of breakfast. Most things were empty at breakfast. Everyone from our team had cleanliness issues with their room and one had a bullet hole in their window. Definitely will not stay here again.

The hotel looks nothing like its pictures, at all. Hotel is in serious need of an upgrade inside and out. Hallways full of trash bags, paint chipping everywhere. Theres an odd smell too. We arrived late at night and we were exhausted. Went to crawl into bed and there was a dirty sock under the blankets, along with hair all over the sheets. We didnt want to move so slept on top of the blankets for the couple of hours we were there. Not sure how this can keep the brand name with how trashy it is. We definitely wont be back. Bed was comfy and nothing for breakfast.

Had to get a last minute room and this place charged us 400$ for the night. The lobby ceiling vent was black with what looks like mold and water stain. Got to our room and it didn't get better. Ceiling water stained, bedding were stained with what looks like pee. Asked for new bedding and the second sets were worse. Bathroom shower had mold and the paint on the ceiling coming off. The walls were sticky with brown, orange and red substances. Called choice hotels customer support, they took a complaint and asked for us to call back. Called back and their response was that management looked at the room and they don't see anything wrong and sent them pictures. Well I have pictures too.

The property was generally acceptable, but there were a few concerns that affected my stay. The noise from the truck stopping nearby was quite disruptive during the night and early morning, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, my room door didn't close completely, leaving a noticeable gap that made me feel a bit uneasy about my security. On a positive note, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, which I truly appreciated. As for breakfast, it was decent, especially if you enjoy that type of food. Despite the challenges, I would consider staying again in the future.

The hotel seems a bit older but the rooms have been renovated. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was smaller than I would prefer. Breakfast was average. We have stayed in various hotels in the Terre Haute area to visit our son at Rose Hulman. We have had more issues with some of the "better" hotels, so overall we were pleased.

Nice room except for no door latch on bathroom and hated!!! The stupid occupancy sensor lights. Do not need lights turning themselves off in my bedroom, nor do i want the stupid bright light coming on in bathroom in middle of night.

Great place to stay! We arrived late at night on a Saturday and were helped quickly by 2 nice male employees. Parking was easy and felt secure as they do have cameras which was great. Our room felt very clean. The beds were comfortable and bathroom clean. Complimentary breakfast was great! They offered waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, muffins, toast, juice and coffee. For the price of the stay I thought everything was well worth it. The only negative was the ac unit was so loud and we couldn’t sleep with it on. Other than that we would stay here again.

The motion sensors on the lights can't be turned off. I turn in my sleep and was there fore woken up 4 times by bright lights. There are also motion sonsors in the bathroom for 2 lights that were not needed either. Worst night of sleep ever. :(

Had to cut my trip 2days early (89 y/o mom issues). Expedia tried to reach the hotel but no answer. I finally got through. No empathy with the general manager, Mona and no refunds for the 2days. Both the Delta Airline and Sixt car rental had no problem allowing for the change and didn’t charge me for 2days. Disappointing and unlikely I will book with Sleep Inn or any Choice Hotels again.

Do NOT go to this property if you don’t like extra fees. We never made it to our room. Booked online and when we arrived they wanted us to pay a $150 deposit for a $65 room. That’s ridiculous. It did NOT mention this when we booked it. Hotel wouldn’t give us a refund so now I’m fighting with Expedia to get one. You’re be better off going to Super 8 next door.

This hotel was disgusting and filled with cockroaches and the staff was completely unprofessional. They charged my card twice for a $150 deposit. They were unkind and not professional. They were out in the lobby, using it like their own living room and using very bad language as well as profanity. I would never stay here again and they will definitely try and raise the rate on there rooms if you try to stay one more night. Again, this hotel is filled with bugs and disgusting. Do not stay here!

This is a nice, clean affordable hotel. Friendly staff who were very helpful. Would have left 5 stars if it wasn’t for their deposit policy. $150 which may take up to 10 days to be released. I presented my partner’s card and they wouldn’t accept it without a signed release. I nearly canceled this reservation because my partner wasn’t available to complete this form. Fortunately the front desk clerk showed me mercy after trying for nearly 45 minutes to get the form signed and let me check in. If this hotel’s deposit policy isn’t an issue for you, it’s a good place to stay. Otherwise be aware.

Only negative thing about this is the location is a little hard to find and by a vacant lot. On the other hand, it's near the interstate and easy drive to places ot eat. Very clean room. Breakfast had a waffle iron, so there was something hot. Staff was friendly.

Great stay. Breakfast was ok but they kept it supplied. Our room had a noisy air conditioner (it sounded like a diesel engine when the compressor kicked on). I told management and they offered to move us - but the hotel was full and that would have been a challenge. We stayed in the room voluntarily. The outside is nothing to look at, but it’s a good night’s stay.

Property was just off interstate 70, easy on and off for travelers. Easy check in, friendly front desk. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good, many choices. If you’re just looking for a place to rest your head at a great price, this is it.

The rooms are exactly how they look. They are a little small but for one or two people it works. Comfy bed breakfast was decent. It is outdated though and the pictures of the building were taken from the perfect angle to make it look amazing. But the the building is just a small rectangle, flat stucco, with one car size awning that looks huge. I was there for business and it worked out just fine for me. Nothing extravagant. But at least my room had a large tv. 60” I think.

Parking was fine and secure. Slept well, bed was comfortable and clean. Plenty of towels. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast had eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausages and a waffle iron along with the usual items. The coffee was very good. The shower does have an area in the ceiling needing repaired, but hopefully it is on their list to fix. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

For the price, I would never stay here again. If you are wanting just a clean room and comfortable bed for a night, it’s fine. But coffee was almost clear! Food for breakfast was cold and a mess. Staff was just doing their job, but did not provide a great customer experience. Again, based on price not what we expected!

I've stayed here a few times. Place is clean. One of the best breakfasts I've had at a discount hotel. Biscuits and gravy, really good scrambled eggs, sausage, waffle iron. I had a problem getting on the internet, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Overall poor. Breakfast not manned. Dining area dirty. Soggy powdered eggs. Yogurt no stocked. Elevator was beat up. Facility Laundry room doors open several times when I was trying to get on the elevator. Poor impression of the whole state of the place. Sign marking location entrance was not at the correct place on the road. Door was sloppy, which allowed lots of noise from other residents. Door key had to be re-scanned to get it to let me in.

This hotel is over charging. They want the flat rate for the room, but charge $150.00 for a deposit. It smelled funny going into the building, and walking the halls the carpets need cleaned. I did not like the motion sensor lights in the room. Every time I would get up the light comes on and would wake my husband. They need to do like every other hotel in the country and just have bedside table lamps. You can hear the alarm clocks from the rooms next to you and any small noise coming from hallway or rooms. Also, we requested to pay extra to stay two extra hours the next day. They would not negotiate or work with us at all. You can go across the street to Springhill Suites and have an amazing breakfast, newer rooms and amenities, and they will provide excellent customer service to tailor to your needs while only requesting a very small deposit. There is not much of a price difference at all. I definitely will not be staying here again.

The staff was pleasant a check in and check out, but if I had my kids with me, I would have left and paid to stay at a different location.
