Gardener’s cottage proved to be a perfect place to stay for walking on the North Yorks coast. It’s well-equipped, cosy and comfortable. Two parking spaces is an absolute bonus in this area. Whitby is a great place to visit - especially the Abbey and Whitby brewery taproom! Sandsend is great for eating places - Estbeck House, the Fish Cottage and the Hart Inn all proved excellent in their food choices and quality. Highly recommend this cottage.

The Saltmoore estate's recent improvements are also fantastic & well worth the very short stroll to enjoy the Bar & restaurants.
