Very clean and well kept property. One of a very few worth staying at in the area.

The hotel is sparkling clean and smells amazing when you enter. The grounds and the pool were very clean. The gym smelled good and was very clean. The site was large and immaculate as well. As you can probably tell, I’m a stickler on cleanliness and they exceeded my expectation. We were greeted by Steve(n) (from the Bronx), who was very warm, friendly, accommodating and helpful with local information. The next day we met Sarah, who was an absolute delight. We chatted about things to do and she gave us a list of restaurants and told us the best places where we could take in the fireworks. We went to Sharky’s and it was awesome! Check out was a breeze. This was a great stay overall….

My family and I had a very pleasant stay. Breakfast included was a plus. Very clean and well kept.

Staff was amazing, facility was clean and exceptionally accommodating. All together was a totally amazing stay and definitely will visit again.

Nice newer hotel with very friendly staff. Room was nice yet overpriced but that seems to be the case for hotels in the Venice area. Decent breakfast included. Dennis the Waffle King made it extra enjoyable.

The only negative thing I saw was there were very tiny ants in our room on the second floor. It wasn’t a huge amount but occasionally I would see one in the bathroom or kitchen. We will stay here again.

Very clean. Newe4 hotel. Pet charge of 75 dollars for a Maltese in a carrier seems excessive.

It was super clean and perfect ,we really enjoyed.

We checked into a room that reeked of organic odor. I had the get the desk clerk to come to the room to believe me. He couldn’t believe it. The room NEVER should have been used. Changed us immediately The breakfast was bare bones with staples routinely used and having to call staff to replenish. The every second day housekeeping policy - clearly a dumb and poorly disguised cost saving attempt - was a farce, as our bed was not made, and the room was partially cleaned on the second day If you are going to have an alternate day cleaning policy, have enough towels on the room to cover it. There weren’t. Drying ourselves off with damp towels on alternate days. Awful experience from a 50 year plus business traveler. Just awful. Never setting foot in a Marriott again. Real slippage in standards.

TV was broke randomly turning off and on , poor shower design and which was constantly flooding. Room was smaller than expected. Great staff , good breakfast.

Property is the perfect for a long trip. Room equipped with a kitchenette which makes trips easy with not having to eat out or just microwave food. The entire property was clean. Highly recommend.

Large well laid out rooms. Excellent disabled facilities in the room. Beads minorly uncomfortable. Excellent variety for breakfast and breakfast staff was very pleasant!

The A/C and refrigerator were too noisy

The suite style room is always a little easier for us to use. The room was clean and comfortable overall, but the shower in our room always sprayed water onto the floor no matter how we tried to adjust the shower head.

Rooms updated and immaculate. Nice shower door but floor gets wet and concern floor damages in near future if not repaired.

As many bad points to our stay as good points. First, we requested a feather-free room and, despite the hotel emailing to let us know they received the request and would make it happen, they didn’t. We also weren’t told that room service is only every other day when we checked in, which is something we very much would’ve liked to know. The air conditioner in our room was also in very rough shape. Made a lot of loud, jarring noises even when it wasn’t putting out air. There was also a motion-censor dome light that was super bright and set to cover half the bed, so it would occasionally turn on when my wife rolled over at night. In terms of positives, though, the Location of the hotel was good, room was nice and big, and the breakfast was solid.

Very impressed with this property and the great management by Steven and his staff. Sarah at the Front Desk was very friendly and professional. Dennis and Peggy Sue were very attentive and made sure the breakfast was well stocked and hot and fresh. The room was clean and well appointed. And most important was that my dog, Sadie, was very happy and treated with respect by staff and guests alike. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff at this hotel made all the difference. We were first greeted by Mike, who was so kind in offering help and advice since we did not know the area. We met Jen at the breakfast the next morning. She is awesome and so friendly. Next, we met Regina and Donna, who made me feel so special when they discovered it was my birthday. Lastly, we met Ken at breakfast on the third day. He was also friendly, kind and helpful with our requests. I have to say that I have very rarely met such a remarkable staff. This must be attibuted to a noteworthy manager. We thank you for such a wonderful experience!

We have been trying to find a nice, clean hotel to stay at while we visit family in my hometown. We love staying at TownePlace Suites so when we found one in the area of course we had to book it to visit with family for NYE. Once, we booked we informed the hotel we were bringing my service animal. Usually we don’t hear much when we leave a note on the reservation. So, we were surprised to see we received a message from the hotel manager “Michael”. He was so nice and very helpful. He made sure to leave plenty of notes before our arrival check-in to make things run smoothly and boy did he! We really appreciated his help and the fact he went above and beyond to make our stay great! If I had to say anything bad about our stay was we were in a hearing impaired room because I had my service animal and they had a closet with a motion activated light always going on and off. Kinda annoying. I will say we did ask for help from the front desk and again they were very polite and helpful suggesting we could swap rooms but we were only stay 2 nights and once we settled in we just decided to stay cause we didn’t want to move all our things in the event we forgot something. Other than that the hotel was really clean, smelled great, the front desk was super nice, and we really felt like they were more than accommodating for our stay. We will definitely be booking in the future when we come down to visit with my family & we will be sure to talk with Micheal and stay in a regular room. (;

The location is perfect. The front staff is beyond terrible especially the person Antoinette. She made our stay very unappealing , anytime we asked a question she was put out. She would not answer any questions at all

I have been double charged. I filed a complaint with the hotel. I called into Marriott customer service and filed another complaint. I was contacted back, but not with an acceptable resolution. I supplied my credit card statement showing the charges and they say they don’t find the charge. The corporate agent Michelle was professional and at least made me feel like she cared, the social media agent closed the chat before I could respond and the hotel management feels like they don’t care or want to put in the work to find out how their location shows up as a charge on my card. I need you to remove my overcharge. This has been very frustrating especially having to deal with 8+ calls now and no resolution. If I stayed one night and paid through Expedia, that should be the only charge. All I need the hotel to explain is, what is the other charge from Venice TownePlace Suites by Marriott and why can’t you find a transaction that you charged me for?

Entire staff was wonderful, however Steve was outstanding. He went above just being in customer service, he really seemed to care about people and made certain that we were satisfied and happy.
