Check in was fast. Staff at front desk and car valet were great. Room was a nice size, had fridge and microwave and was very clean. Location was close to freeways. The only downside was because of the location, it only had valet parking at $25 per night. The valet staff was great, though. Very nice and courteous. I would definitely stay again.

You have to pay $20 for parking, but the hotel is awesome and clean. Staff is friendly. Gym is decent. The bed sleeps well. Very good value.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The walls are thin and you can hear everything going on in the room next to you and in the hallway. They only have valet parking and it's $25. There is a free breakfast offered. I had cereal with soy milk and the soy milk had gone bad.

Hotel stay is great. Parking is not. There is no parking lot, and only valet option. If you do not want valet, you have to park on the street, which is by houses and the tenants of these duplexes complain that you park in front of their home. In my case, even threatened that my car would get towed.

The room as small yet very chic. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. The gym was neatly organized and the equipment was new and well maintained. The floor in the gym was very grippy, great for Yoga and stretching.

Friendly staff, good breakfast choices, clean room, fairly quiet. My only issue was paying $20 a day for valet services (you must pay that to park at hotel) and there was very few times the valet was actually working. More times than not the front desk person would escort me to the elevator and take me down to where the car was and I drove it out of the lot myself. On my last day the valet was there but he just brought the car up and did not offer to put our bags in the vehicle, this was a stay of 2 over 60 year old women. I realize that people are short handed but if that is the case do not charge the entire valet parking fee per day. Out of 6 days there the valet brought my car to me 3 times total.

I love the La Quinta Inn in San Jose. It’s the best value in the entire city. The staff is so very friendly and kind and the free breakfast is outstanding. You can’t go wrong with this place. It’s very clean and new as well.

we stayed one night there. The room’s smell was not good when we entered. The room itself was not super clean. The floor looked clean, but when you look closer, you will see a lot of hair every corner. In the morning we went down stairs for the breakfast however, eggs were already out. There was no one around to talk. I had to go to reception and he talked to the kitchen and eggs where there after around 10 minutes. The neighborhood doesn’t look safe, but the garage and the valley was very good, you don’t want to park your car outside of the garage. Overall an average place to stay. Not going to go back there though.

Pleasantly surprised as I wasn’t expecting such a great quality hotel for the 2star category! Staff were very helpful, the breakfast included was a hit and mostly very clean :) (only negative: musty bathroom) I would definitely stay again if I ever come back to San Jose!

The hotel rooma were very clean. Our room(s) had ants and were moved to another room for the inconvenience. However, the new room also had ants that filled out luggage. Pretty inconvenient to move for a 3rd time, so we stayed in the room.

The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. One took several pictures of me reuniting with my 2 sons and niece. However, I only requested my room be cleaned on Day #2 of our stay; and it wasn't. The bed was made and towels replaced. The coffee pot (coffee grounds everywhere; unusable, spills on floor not moped, plastic and coffee cups not replenished.... The front desk apologized and stated that housekeeping was short staffed. No further services were provided to rectify the situation. I got cups, etc from the lobby water/coffee station. And, the refrigerator didn't start to cool until the card key was inserted inside the door. It wasn't until the following morning after check in that the bottled water inside was cold enough to drink. - I was disappointed as I paid full price for 2 rooms. I will probably stay elsewhere on my next visit.

Look, it's a La Quinta. So, take this 5 star with a grain of salt. It ain't the Ritz. That said, it was brand new, super clean, an easy drive to everywhere, and affordable in one of the most expensive places on Earth. The breakfast buffet was a good La Quinta breakfast buffet. One tip: they charge like $35 for parking, but even they'll tell you: if you park ON the street outside or in one direction off the hotel, it's free and safe. Apparently the other direction gets a little dicey, but all good. I parked for 4 days on the street, found a spot every time. Would I park my Bentley out there? No. Do I have Bentley? Also no. So, if you're the type of person who, like me, stays at a La Quinta, the type of car you drive will be perfectly safe on the street.

Brand new hotel designed state of the Art. They thought of everything from trays next to toilets for cell phones to full length mirrors and easy access shower stalls. Also the property is brand new. Great hotel if you just want a great room and access to all of San Jose. This hotel is a great value. For the money it is a steal. Parking is 25 a night but there is a lot of free parking across the street of the hotel.

Rooms are specious and modern. AC works great but a bit noisy. Sensory light causes discomfort when going to the bathroom at night. Another level of rudeness is staff. And of course the highest deposit I’ve ever seen 250$

The hotel itself was clean and nicely updated. The room was nice and clean and comfy beds. We weren’t so blessed with loud guests above us. 1st night they came in at 2:30 stomping around for awhile, we let it go. The. The 2nd night at 10:30 they decided they wants to party with sounded like a ton of people with heels and blaring music. We ended up having to have front desk come up and verify it was above us and he had to go to their room and talk to them. It did get quiet after that was done. They proceeded to come in again at 3am and woke my family up again. It’s a part of being in a hotel, but when we aren’t there for partying and having to get up early makes for rough nights sleep.

The hotel was nice and clean and everything was in order but my favorite was the STAFF!! From Alfonso taking care of my car each night, to Leo brining me an extra blanket to Evelyn at the front desk.. even the guy who got my car in the mornings!! Traveling for work is never fun and the week started out terrible but coming back to the hotel each night was great, put a smile on my face and gave me peace of mind!! Definitely recommend staying there especially after a long day!

The hotel itself is very clean and the environment is pleasant overall. However, I was extremely disappointed by the poor level of staff service. During check-in, we were told by the front desk that breakfast was available until 10am. Based on this information, we went down at 9:30am the next morning, only to find that the restaurant was already closed. What made the experience worse was that the staff directly told us it was our fault for not reading the sign near the restaurant — even though the breakfast time we were given came directly from the front desk yesterday. At check-in, guests wouldn’t naturally go out of their way to find and read signs near the restaurant area, especially if staff have already provided verbal information. Other groups of guest (they experienced the same issue) asked if we could at least grab some takeaway items as a small compensation for the mistake, but were flatly refused. I found this response really unreasonable — they had a clear chance to make up for the hotel’s mistake, and they chose not to. Several other guests experienced the same issue that morning, so this wasn’t an isolated incident. I hope the management takes this seriously and works on improving communication and basic customer service.

The premise was pretty new and modern. Everything was clean. They provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash as well as body lotion. Everyone was courteous and friendly. Being near the airport, it was quite noisy at times but this should not be limited to this hotel only. Finally, one thing I didn't like was valet parking which meant more charges to your bill. Luckily there was plenty of street parking and was safe for all those nights of stay.

Clean & extremely close to the airport (5 min literally in early morning). Room was tasteful and bed was comfortable. Great BBQ place next door was a nice bonus! Would stay here again. NOTE: There is a $20 fee for PARKING which I only found out upon arriving.

Clean hotel, must have been remodeled recently. Comfortable room. Located in a residential area this hotel offers valet parking for $20 per day, the only parking on the premises. Their website does not mention this. The other option is to park on the street where there is very limited space. There aren’t any nice restaurants near by.
