Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Cozad

Nice new hotel. Front desk staff made me angry. No blanket in room for pull out bed. Mattress had a fairly large stain. Parking lot was too small to turn around with a trailer and had no spots to pull through.

Pool was down. The breakfast though free was nothing to rave about. The fruit was wilted and old. The beds were VERY comfortable and the facility was very clean. The bath soap smelled so good!!!

Helpful staff and clean well maintained property although elevator shuddered. Used fitness room but not pool.

Gym was small but adequate. Pool was nice. Room comfortable.

Everything at Cobblestone is great! Large room, great internet, quiet, good morning coffee, has a little lounge area you can order a few items of hot food, a nice Casey’s gas station is within walking distance along with a Scooters coffee. Staff is great and room super clean!

Everything was great for our trip to Gothenburg Nebraska. We chose the Cobblestone inn because it was close to our family and had stayed there this summer. The accommodations were wonderful and went out of their way to check a few things that were questionable. Fixed the fitness room so we could access it despite the broken lock. The only disappointment was the pool chemicals were not doing their job so pool was not open for the weekend. 😢. Hope they have the issue fixed next time we visit!

Friendly staff, but terribly understaffed. DONT COUNT ON BREAKFAST. One of the reasons we stayed there with our group of 9 people was to save on going out for breakfast. There was barely any food and no plan to replenish. The room had not been properly cleaned. The pool was closed for a lame excuse-a small storm miles and miles away. I would just choose somewhere else for sure.

We had a great stay at the Cobblestone. We picked this hotel because it had a pool and we've stayed at a couple other Cobblestones in the past. The pool was a little bit cold, but my kids still had fun swimming in it. The room was great, no complaints, we had 2 good nights of sleep there. We were on the 3rd floor, but the elevator was quick to use. The breakfast was filling. There was cereal, yogurt, indiviual bags of grapes, eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy, a waffle maker, juice and more. We also enjoyed making hot chocolate with packets and hot water that were available by the coffee station. There were even flavored syrups to use so we had fun drinks. For one meal we ordered pizza from the Casey's right near the hotel and walked over to get it and ate it in the room. All in all we had a wonderful stay.

Clean, well maintained hotel that was convenient for a quick overnight stop. Breakfast was good and coffee was available in the rooms, which is a nice perk. We would definitely recommend.

The check-in guy seemed very put out at the inconvenience of our arrival. He was displeased to have to stop gawking at his phone in the dining area to get up to wait on us. Though there were only maybe ten other parties staying at the hotel when we were, we were assigned a pet room, though we did not have pets. There were literally clumps of fur all over the floor and fur all over the desk chair. There were visible dog food pieces on the floor. No way had the room been vacuumed or wiped down. The beds were made shoddily. Both bed skirts were hanging in clumps on one side and barely any material visible on the other side. The fitted sheets were not pulled taut so they snapped out of place throughout the night and were wadded up under us. There was no soap or tissue in the room. We had to ding the bell to get the guy out to ask him about soap and tissue, and he unapologetically said yeah, the truck hadn't shown yet so they didn't have their products. At breakfast the next morning, there were also no knives. Hard to spread cold butter or cream cheese without a knife. There is a dollar store across the street, so not sure why someone couldn't have gotten products for the handful of guests while waiting for the delayed truck. The pool had hair floating all over the surface and there were no towels. The bathroom toilet in the pool area was full of nastiness and thus unflushable. Our bar for hotels in the boonies is set pretty low, but the overall experience was awful.

Bath tub wasn't clean and I noticed the shower head had pink mold. I mentioned it to the front desk and the said they would let housekeeping know. Hopefully they took care of it. The staff was pleasant. The breakfast was good, but not a fan of the coffee (weak). They were dog friendly so we appreciate that.

Hotel room was filthy. TV’s were “fake”, not connected to anything, no plugs, nothing. Was there for a week. Requested housekeeping every day, never got it. No clean towels , never had trashed emptied, room smelled. Front desk staff was useless.

This is a great hotel!!! Everything is very clean and the beds were super comfy! Shower was hot. Service was super fast and efficient. Breakfast was also very good with lots of options.

We stayed at cobblestone for 2 days. I had booked a room with 2 queen beds. For whatever reason we were put in a "pet room" which smelled like wet dog in the room and in the hallway. The room appeared clean although there was dog hair on the linens which was really offputting and wondered if they were clean. Our first morning we were told breakfast was until 10 when we went down there at 9 it was closed. We asked and they did open it back up. The following morning i got up early to get a jump start on the trip home. I went down for breakfast and everything including the coffee was empty. I will share the room was full of people so i understand its hard to keep up. The staff was always friendly and accomodating. I never did complain about the room so thats on me. The staff had told me that they were making more food but i didnt have time to wait around and had to buy my own breakfast and coffee. It all was disappointing since ive stayed in way nicer hotels for about the same price this one cost. If the cost was cheaper i wouldnt be as disappointed. We did enjoy the pool,fitness room and the friendly staff.

Our stay was ok except for one side of our bed was worn out or broken…it made loud creaking noises when you laid down or turned over.

Great property, friendly service, clean room - only problem was that the property is somewhat close to a freight train line that runs a few times overnight. The train can get pretty loud. Otherwise, a worthwhile stay.

The bed was awful!!! It creaked all night & was very uncomfortable!!! Reported to desk in the morning & apologized but did NOT OFFER A DISCOUNT!!!

Overall this is a nice place…new. The bed was not comfortable. Near rail road so had train horn noise on occasion. Breakfast was quite good.

Nice hotel for the most part. Was clean and the breakfast was good. The only complaint would be about the AC unit in our room. Very noisy

Air conditioner in room did not cool well. While I am more open to warmer temperatures, I had to sleep with sheet only I set it to 62 but only began to feel kinda cool by morning.

Very clean and huge bathroom with ADA compatible showers.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable! The staff were friendly and helpful. One staff member even took the time to call up to the room to make sure everything was okay. The nice variety of breakfast items was a great way to begin the day!

Everything went smoothly. Was just a quick stop on a return road trip, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the service was competent and friendly.

Unfortunately we did not complete our stay.. our room was too warm. We couldn’t get the AC unit to work, and the room was a good 15-20 degrees warmer than the hallway. They unfortunately were completely booked so we had to leave and find another hotel along our way.

It’s located right off the interstate so easy on and off for a road trip. There are some fast food options close by and we choose to walk since we had been driving all day.

The girl taking care of the front desk, breakfast, folding laundry coffee in the lobby was very pleasant. That’s a lot to expect for one person on a busy Sunday morning.

I just want to say thank you Emily. I stayed here on the 1/5/25, during the snowstorm. I stopped at the gas station and booked this place but accidentally put the wrong date (1/6/25). When I realized, i asked expedia to change the date, and they tried to charge me $259.20. Expedia was useless and tried to steal from me. Just book directly with facility. Emily switched the date for me and helped resolved my problem. She even went above and beyond by calling me back when my reservation showed up.

The hotel is very nice! Staffing was definitely an issue but they did their best to provide a quality experience.

Overall a good, clean stay but we arrived late with our family after a long day of driving and the staff member had mixed up our reservation number with other persons so it took us 25 minutes to check in and get our room keys. Other than that it was a good stay.

The lobby smelled like sewage. I think it was because the laudry room is located right behind the check in counter. Nice cleam room. Staf was short. On one oerson having to run counter and bar. Breakfeast ooened too late at 7am. Coffee was late as well.

Property is really nice, clean and relaxing. The only hiccup was the young man at the front desk who was attempting to charge me for a registered service animal to stay. Other than that it was great.

This rating is low to point out that the staffing situation here is garbage. That’s not saying the staff was garbage. Contrary. The lady who helped check everybody in AND make room calls all by her lonesome on Friday evening was inspiring. The garbage situation is guests paying the steep fees to stay here when the owner doesn’t pay anybody to work. Horrible price point mismatch. The breakfast was nearly completely out on Saturday morning. You guessed it - because there was only one person in sight working every position in the hotel. Poor thing. Find me if anybody wants to make things right or get constructive feedback.

Great hotel, very clean, spacious room, and the disability access features are first-rate (grab bars, roll-in shower, etc.). Good, hot breakfast options, and the evening bar idea in the breakfast room is a great idea. Easy to locate, easy on/off the highway, ample accessible parking.

Great hotel in a small town with limited dining and activities. Great for one night passing through town but I would recommend another town for longer stays.

Very nice hotel, but unfortunately it is near the train tracks - I couldn't see them, but I could hear the trains and their whistles late into the night. If you're a light sleeper, this might be a problem.

Very nice, clean hotel. Understaffed for breakfast, had a nice buffet set up, but most of food was gone by 7:15 and was not being refilled.

The lounge bar was poorly stocked. There was no hot breakfast available, everything was out an hour before closing. Overall it seemed understaffed and under stocked. Not worth the money spent.

disappointed in the breakfast it was a nice breakfast but half the stuff was out and we got there when it started and they were out of gravy. There was no egg so you just had to hit and grab whatever you could. There wasn’t a big spread and they were out of almost everything.
