Home was in a great location and well within walking distance to the train station, bus station, and the rest of the core region of Edinburgh. Since its at the end of the royal mile, there's considerably less foot traffic, but if you are sensitive to road noise you may not like staying here as its right at the end of a busy roundabout. Its light and roomy and the kitchen is a really nice bonus. The only cons about this home were the bed and bathroom amentities. The mattress was extremely firm and only one piece of bedding is provided. If you’re exhausted after a long day of touring it wont matter much, but don't expect to nestle into a cozy and cushy bed. The pillows were also the cheap and hard fiberfill kind that are thin and flat. Also bring your own shower supplies as this flat does not provide their own (aside from a shampoo/shower gel combo I found a few days into the stay). I was disappointed that after 24 hours of traveling I still had to go out and buy my own shampoo, conditioner, and soap (which I left behind for the next guests) before settling in for the night. Overall I'd stay at this flat again and would recommend it to others looking to stay in the area.
