The resort has a really nice blend of garden and ocean themes with a twist of Thai culture in modern setting. Really good breakfast, spa, facilities, beach and drinks. The restaurants on site are beautiful, and you have the option to visit other restaurants by its private beach.

Die Anlage des Hotels und auch das Zimmer ist wirklich wunderschön und hat viel Potenzial. Leider sind viel zu wenig Liegen am Pool/ Strand, welche von typischen Pauschaltouristen ab 7:30 belegt werden. Das Hotel geht dagegen in keinster Weise vor. Neben dem Hotel wird den ganzen Tag Müll? verbrannt, wodurch so viel Rauch zum Pool zieht, dass selbst die Mitarbeiter mit T-shirt vor dem Mund herumlaufen, unternommen wird dagegen aber nichts. Der Service war leider auch nicht besonders freundlich oder zuvorkommend, man hatte das Gefühl die ganze Zeit von oben herab angesehen zu werden. Essen am Pool im Green Mango Restaurant war durchschnittlich, man sollte lieber in die Tonga Bar am Strand neben dem Hotel gehen. Alles in Allem ein schönes Hotel, dass aber scheinbar mit wenig Herzblut geführt wird.

Das Hotel ist wirklich super gelegen, denn es gibt rundherum einige Möglichkeiten Essen zu gehen oder auch zwei Supermärkte. Alles ist zu Fuß ohne Probleme erreichbar. Mehrere Restaurants befinden sich am Strand, ABER es gibt viele tolle und gute Lokale auch an der Straße (welche deutlich günstiger sind!). Das Hotel ist in einem sehr guten Zustand, die Zimmer sind modern und gleichzeitig sehr gemütlich (alle haben einen Balkon oder eine Terrasse). Es gibt zwei Pools, einer ist vorne in der Nähe der Lobby (Garden Pool), der andere ist Richtung Strand (der größere der beiden Pools- und mit Poolbar!). Was etwas schwierig ist, ist die Anzahl der verfügbaren Liegen mit Sonnenschirm... davon gibt es am großen Pool leider zu wenig. Der Strand Zugang ist super, sauber und sehr schön. Das hoteleigene Lokal (Green Mango) bietet eine gute Auswahl und Qualität der Speisen, allerdings für einen sehr hohen (für thailändische Verhältnisse-überteuerten) Preis. Die gleiche Qualität bekommt man auch an vielen der Straßen- bzw Strandrestaurants. Das Frühstück im Hotel ist dagegen wirklich super (wird im Patio, einem anderen Restaurantbereich, serviert). Es lässt keine Wünsche offen und bietet eine riesige Vielfalt! TOP! Die Anlage ist zudem wunderschön angelegt und bietet viele schöne Bereiche und Plätze. Das Hotel können wir nur absolut empfehlen! :)

Breakfast very good, variety and length of service was great. Rooms large and comfy beds. 2 pools one with swim up bar. Private beach and warm sea to swim in. Staff very polite and helpful. Car park with limited spaces, but security is there 24 hours so no problem parking on the front of the hotel A very enjoyable stay, wish we booked longer than 4 nights. Close to waterfalls, temples, and tsunami museum.

Great resort in Khao Lak. I think it’s the nicest on the beach in the area. Very quiet and well maintained. They have a great breakfast buffet and the restaurant onsite is good. There are plenty of restaurants to try along the beach too. The spa facial was very nice too.

Staff were excellent and very helpful. Rooms were large & modern, clean, comfortable bed. Pool areas very nice, long walk from front of hotel to the ocean and main pool area, although a couple of pools in between so no issues there. Not a lot of places to eat or entertainment outside & close to the hotel, but a lovely hotel overall and local business owners very friendly and helpful. About 15 km from KL central, l hired a motor bike which made getting around & trips to KL easy. If you’re looking for a comfortable, quiet and relaxing holiday, l’m sure you would enjoy your stay at the Grand Mercure KL.

Our stay was excellent in every way. The pool room was absolutely worth the extra, a real treat that made the whole trip feel special, and the perfect escape when the main pool was busy. There were always plenty of beds available on the stunning, spotless beach, making it so easy to relax. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice, and the quality of the restaurant’s evening food was genuinely amazing. The staff were exceptional, always smiling, always helpful, and truly a credit to the hotel. A special shout-out to Nut and Oil, who went above and beyond throughout our stay. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish. I’m already looking forward to returning in the future.

The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The pool area was very slippery, felt unsafe every time we stepped out of the pool. Not very convenient for families with babies. No child pool, and the kids club is very small leaving the kids bored. There wasn’t a lot near the hotel you have to take a taxi to the town , 20 min drive usually 400 baht a direction , so 800 both ways. The breakfast was nice addition. Not much alternatives in the area. The beach restaurants only open at 10:00. Also the rooms with pool access really to for family with baby/infants you have to always keep an eye out for them.

Das Grand Mercure ist wirklich eine beeindruckende Anlage mit sehr viel Grün. Es gibt nicht viel außenrum aber einen Supermarkt der alles hat was man braucht, gute Restaurants am Strand und wenn man in die Stadt will bekommt man jederzeit ein Taxi um die Ecke die einen überall hinfahren wo man will (800 baht hin und zurück in die Stadt zum Beispiel). Ich würde da jederzeit wieder buchen auch der Strand ist toll. Einziger Minuspunkt die Putzfrauen haben in 10 Tagen kein einziges Mal den Tisch auf unserer Terrasse geputzt und sonst wirklich eine Top Adresse zum Erholen. Teilweise sieht die Anlage schöner aus als auf den Bildern.

Rummen är trevliga och känns fräscha och rena. Hotellet ligger på en smal och lång tomt så det definierar hela strukturen. Det tycker jag gör att det känns lite trångt, men rent estetiskt ser det väldigt fint ut. All personal var trevlig och serviceminded. Vi åt lunch en dag på hotellet i strandrestaurangen Green Mango, men det är inget jag kan rekommendera. Det var dyrt, snålt och smakade tyvärr väldigt mediokert. Poolen är trevlig och ren men ganska liten. Havet och stranden är vacker men du behöver strandskor pga all korall i vattenbrynet.

Toppen hotell med fantastisk staff, rena rum, mycket fin miljö inslagen i naturen med all växtlighet. Rummen är fräscha, stranden är fint dock några dagar hade den lite större vågor lite svårare för mindre barn. Restaurangen Green Mango hade god mat men lite för små portioner i flera fall.

Die Polster auf den Terrassen der Zimmer im EG sollten ausgetauscht werden. Denn Stoff schimmelt schnell. Am besten was mit Kunststoff, was man gut abwischen kann. Denn es es so eine herrliche gemütliche sitzecke auf der Terrasse. Ansonsten ist das hotel topp.

Miljön runt hotellet var perfekt och lugnt. Fin strand. Flera ställen längst med stranden att äta på. Vänlig personal och väldigt service minded. Rent och fint rum. Hade gett dem högsta betyg om sängarna var lite mjukare. De var i de hårdaste laget. Bodde här i 15 nätter. Frukosten var grym!

The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The pool area was very slippery, felt unsafe every time we stepped out of the pool. Not very convenient for families with babies. No child pool, and the kids club is very small leaving the kids bored. There wasn’t a lot near the hotel you have to take a taxi to the town , 20 min drive usually 400 baht a direction , so 800 both ways. The breakfast was nice addition. Not much alternatives in the area. The beach restaurants only open at 10:00. Also the rooms with pool access really to for family with baby/infants you have to always keep an eye out for them.

The hotel is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. We had a swim up room which was definitely worth upgrading too. Room was spacious and modern with one of the comfiest beds we has ever slept in. All the food and beverages we had were of good quality. However our only complaint is the price of food which can be 3 times as much as local restaurants. The staff were all so friendly and helpful nothing ever seemed too much. Would definitely return to this hotel.

Das Hotel ist wirklich super gelegen, denn es gibt rundherum einige Möglichkeiten Essen zu gehen oder auch zwei Supermärkte. Alles ist zu Fuß ohne Probleme erreichbar. Mehrere Restaurants befinden sich am Strand, ABER es gibt viele tolle und gute Lokale auch an der Straße (welche deutlich günstiger sind!). Das Hotel ist in einem sehr guten Zustand, die Zimmer sind modern und gleichzeitig sehr gemütlich (alle haben einen Balkon oder eine Terrasse). Es gibt zwei Pools, einer ist vorne in der Nähe der Lobby (Garden Pool), der andere ist Richtung Strand (der größere der beiden Pools- und mit Poolbar!). Was etwas schwierig ist, ist die Anzahl der verfügbaren Liegen mit Sonnenschirm... davon gibt es am großen Pool leider zu wenig. Der Strand Zugang ist super, sauber und sehr schön. Das hoteleigene Lokal (Green Mango) bietet eine gute Auswahl und Qualität der Speisen, allerdings für einen sehr hohen (für thailändische Verhältnisse-überteuerten) Preis. Die gleiche Qualität bekommt man auch an vielen der Straßen- bzw Strandrestaurants. Das Frühstück im Hotel ist dagegen wirklich super (wird im Patio, einem anderen Restaurantbereich, serviert). Es lässt keine Wünsche offen und bietet eine riesige Vielfalt! TOP! Die Anlage ist zudem wunderschön angelegt und bietet viele schöne Bereiche und Plätze. Das Hotel können wir nur absolut empfehlen! :)

Breakfast very good, variety and length of service was great. Rooms large and comfy beds. 2 pools one with swim up bar. Private beach and warm sea to swim in. Staff very polite and helpful. Car park with limited spaces, but security is there 24 hours so no problem parking on the front of the hotel A very enjoyable stay, wish we booked longer than 4 nights. Close to waterfalls, temples, and tsunami museum.

Miljön runt hotellet var perfekt och lugnt. Fin strand. Flera ställen längst med stranden att äta på. Vänlig personal och väldigt service minded. Rent och fint rum. Hade gett dem högsta betyg om sängarna var lite mjukare. De var i de hårdaste laget. Bodde här i 15 nätter. Frukosten var grym!

Ett mycket fint hotell med en väldigt fin omgivning. Vi hade ett rum med anslutning till pool vilket var mycket trevligt. Personalen var otroligt trevlig och hjälpsam. Stranden är fantastisk med ganska lite folk.

Ein richtig tolles Hotel, an einem sehr schönen und weitläufigen Strand. Das Personal ( sehr besonders hervorzuheben sind Ben und Gal von der Rezeption) ist sehr sehr hilfsbereit und herzlich. Haben uns aus einer misslichen Lage geholfen. Handy im Taxi verloren, ohne Fahrer oder Unternehmen zu kennen. Ben hat es möglich gemacht, dass das Telefon 2 Tage später wieder da war !!! DANKE!!!!

Hôtel tout neuf très jolie d extérieur, les chambre pas adaptée aux famille manque des équipements comme un étendage pour étendre les maillots de bain et les serviettes, manque de placard pour ranger les affaires. Hôtel un peu loin de tout, nous avons eu une chambre pour 2 alors que nous avons fait une réservation pour 4 personnes et plus de lit supplémentaire enfant disponible…. Personnel n’a été à l écoute et pas au petit soin pour nous pour avoir fait juste avant le sand nous avant été déçu . La personnel qui nous a reçu ça lui était égal que nous soyons pas confortable dans notre chambre nous avons dû créer tout seul un lit avec le matelas de la banquette extérieur pour faire un lit à nos enfants, je trouve cela pas professionnel du tout et horrible. Après l extérieur est vraiment jolie. La plage pas terrible et pas aménagée, l hôtel était pas plein et déjà les transats pris par les gens qui laissent leur serviettes pour réserver leur transat donc je pense que quand il sera plein il y aura pas assez de place pour tout le monde. Après belle vue sur la mer de la piscine et du bar qui n est pas ouvert tout le temps dommage aussi….. Point positif le petit déjeuner très bon. Pour se déplacer faut louer scooteur ou taxi pas beaucoup de chose a côté, très éloigné !

Toppen hotell med fantastisk staff, rena rum, mycket fin miljö inslagen i naturen med all växtlighet. Rummen är fräscha, stranden är fint dock några dagar hade den lite större vågor lite svårare för mindre barn. Restaurangen Green Mango hade god mat men lite för små portioner i flera fall.

Wonderful resort with the kindest staff, special thanks to Honey in kids club who was so warm and welcoming and made a special point of saying hello to our daughter whenever she saw her around the resort. Right on a lovely beach with great restaurants either side. We stayed in a pool access room which we would highly recommend, breakfast was brilliant!

Staff were excellent and very helpful. Rooms were large & modern, clean, comfortable bed. Pool areas very nice, long walk from front of hotel to the ocean and main pool area, although a couple of pools in between so no issues there. Not a lot of places to eat or entertainment outside & close to the hotel, but a lovely hotel overall and local business owners very friendly and helpful. About 15 km from KL central, l hired a motor bike which made getting around & trips to KL easy. If you’re looking for a comfortable, quiet and relaxing holiday, l’m sure you would enjoy your stay at the Grand Mercure KL.

Our stay was excellent in every way. The pool room was absolutely worth the extra, a real treat that made the whole trip feel special, and the perfect escape when the main pool was busy. There were always plenty of beds available on the stunning, spotless beach, making it so easy to relax. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice, and the quality of the restaurant’s evening food was genuinely amazing. The staff were exceptional, always smiling, always helpful, and truly a credit to the hotel. A special shout-out to Nut and Oil, who went above and beyond throughout our stay. Breakfast very good, variety and length of service was great. Rooms large and comfy beds. 2 pools one with swim up bar. Private beach and warm sea to swim in. Staff very polite and helpful. Car park with limited spaces, but security is there 24 hours so no problem parking on the front of the hotel A very enjoyable stay, wish we booked longer than 4 nights. Close to waterfalls, temples, and tsunami museum.

Bodde sista veckan på Khao Lak på detta hotell, riktigt fint och väldigt billigt. Allt var helt nytt då hotellet endast hade haft öppet 3 månader. Lite dyrare mat, öl m.m på hotellet då det även tillkom 10 + 7% på allt man beställde. Dock måste jag säga att maten var väldigt fräsch och god. Barnen älska hotellet och även vi. Dock ett stort minus är läget, vill man in till stan, marknad så är det taxi som gäller överallt. Personalen i receptionen väldigt vänliga men man får dubbelkolla så att dem verkligen bokat taxi hela tiden annars står man där utan.

Staff were excellent and very helpful. Rooms were large & modern, clean, comfortable bed. Pool areas very nice, long walk from front of hotel to the ocean and main pool area, although a couple of pools in between so no issues there. Not a lot of places to eat or entertainment outside & close to the hotel, but a lovely hotel overall and local business owners very friendly and helpful. About 15 km from KL central, l hired a motor bike which made getting around & trips to KL easy. If you’re looking for a comfortable, quiet and relaxing holiday, l’m sure you would enjoy your stay at the Grand Mercure KL.

Rummen är trevliga och känns fräscha och rena. Hotellet ligger på en smal och lång tomt så det definierar hela strukturen. Det tycker jag gör att det känns lite trångt, men rent estetiskt ser det väldigt fint ut. All personal var trevlig och serviceminded. Vi åt lunch en dag på hotellet i strandrestaurangen Green Mango, men det är inget jag kan rekommendera. Det var dyrt, snålt och smakade tyvärr väldigt mediokert. Poolen är trevlig och ren men ganska liten. Havet och stranden är vacker men du behöver strandskor pga all korall i vattenbrynet.

Everything was fantastic. Swim up room was incredible. Agree with other reviews about the hotel restaurant being pricey compared to restaurants less than a 5 min walk down the beach (with better quality food!). Would definitely stay here again if we returned to Thailand.

Felt like paradise.Staff were always there to help when needed and not in your face kind of way.The rooms were amazing and very spacious. Only thing was the time for breakfast.It was too early start and ended really early.Maybe a later finish as a lot of people were still recovering from excursions and was hard to wake up. And maybe a little more variety at breakfast would have been welcomed.All in all it was a very pleasant stay and we would definitely come back again.

Das Hotel ist wirklich super gelegen, denn es gibt rundherum einige Möglichkeiten Essen zu gehen oder auch zwei Supermärkte. Alles ist zu Fuß ohne Probleme erreichbar. Mehrere Restaurants befinden sich am Strand, ABER es gibt viele tolle und gute Lokale auch an der Straße (welche deutlich günstiger sind!). Das Hotel ist in einem sehr guten Zustand, die Zimmer sind modern und gleichzeitig sehr gemütlich (alle haben einen Balkon oder eine Terrasse). Es gibt zwei Pools, einer ist vorne in der Nähe der Lobby (Garden Pool), der andere ist Richtung Strand (der größere der beiden Pools- und mit Poolbar!). Was etwas schwierig ist, ist die Anzahl der verfügbaren Liegen mit Sonnenschirm... davon gibt es am großen Pool leider zu wenig. Der Strand Zugang ist super, sauber und sehr schön. Toppen hotell med fantastisk staff, rena rum, mycket fin miljö inslagen i naturen med all växtlighet. Rummen är fräscha, stranden är fint dock några dagar hade den lite större vågor lite svårare för mindre barn. Restaurangen Green Mango hade god mat men lite för små portioner i flera fall.

Miljön runt hotellet var perfekt och lugnt. Fin strand. Flera ställen längst med stranden att äta på. Vänlig personal och väldigt service minded. Rent och fint rum. Hade gett dem högsta betyg om sängarna var lite mjukare. De var i de hårdaste laget. Bodde här i 15 nätter. Frukosten var grym!

Great resort in Khao Lak. I think it’s the nicest on the beach in the area. Very quiet and well maintained. They have a great breakfast buffet and the restaurant onsite is good. There are plenty of restaurants to try along the beach too. The spa facial was very nice too.

Our stay was excellent in every way. The pool room was absolutely worth the extra, a real treat that made the whole trip feel special, and the perfect escape when the main pool was busy. There were always plenty of beds available on the stunning, spotless beach, making it so easy to relax. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice, and the quality of the restaurant’s evening food was genuinely amazing. The staff were exceptional, always smiling, always helpful, and truly a credit to the hotel. A special shout-out to Nut and Oil, who went above and beyond throughout our stay. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish. I’m already looking forward to returning in the future.
