InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa by IHG

The Intercontinental Cabrits Resort & Spa on the island of Dominica is the absolute best hotel I have ever stayed at in the Caribbean and I've been visiting the Caribbean region for over 40 years. Not only is this resort a stunning property, the staff is also truly superb from the general manager to the bell staff and check in desk personnel. We would definitely stay at the Intercontinental Cabrits again and are very much looking forward to doing so as this is truly a five star resort. Wow!

The hotel is lovely. The rooms are nice, but the pool, the garden the grounds are just stunning. Its location on the water overlooks the sunset which is magnificent every night. The staff is a mixed bag. They want to be very helpful, but just seems like there is a lack of knowledge, follow through, etc. at the front desk which can be frustrating. Everyone else is lovely. The bellmen, the grounds staff etc. just want to make your stay great. The gardener spent 30 minutes with us explaining his crops. The grounds staff cut us a coconut and taught us about how to eat it. Nobody feels like they are doing anything for a tip, although I’m sure they appreciate it. Just feels like they are kind and helpful. The food is meh. Breakfast buffet is nice with delicious fresh fruit and lovely service. The dinner restaurant isn’t the best.

The room was 10/10 Staff 3/10 (the girl at the swim up bar specifically was rude) sour taste in my mouth on the first day. Break fast 8/10 Park 10/10

The property is beautiful! Rooms nice and comfortable! The breakfast buffet delicious! Only problem we had was the communication with concierge to book ahead of time tours and where not advised how much extra money was to enter national parks, poor communication on that part! The rest amazing

We had a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental Dominica. Beyond the great onsite restaurants, the wonderful spa, beautiful rooms and outstanding views of the water and the mountains, were the lovely and engaging team members from the attendants that greeted you to the front desk to every member of the resort, all were friendly and helpful.
