The Exchange Sacramento, Curio Collection by Hilton

Location is great, rooms are great, parking situation sucks but all the hotels in the area have the same problem. Favorite hotel I’ve stayed in the Sacramento area.

No parking available, only valet for 50$ a night.

Great Property, parking can be a challenge, no on site hotel parking, Valet, but it was full.. had to park in downtown parking garage. still a great place.

we stayed at this property for one night to attend a concert at Golden one Center. Excellent place to stay and if you’re going to a show. I had one issue that was very stressful and that was parking. I knew parking was included however it did not specify that the parking was not on site. My navigation took me right to the front of the hotel and with all the traffic at that time of day, the area in front of the hotel is very closely followed by a dead end. There were cars parked on both sides of the street and I was trying to navigate my big 4x4 Dodge ram. My husband was not with me it was myself and my daughter-in-law. I must not have been the only one who was confused because there were other cars behind me and we all had to turn around but it felt like I must have made a 10 point turn to turn my truck around. Lol. Went back around the whole block and tried to call the hotel but nobody answered. Pulled back in front of the hotel so my daughter-in-law could jump out and ask someone where we are supposed to park. They offer valet parking for $45 for the day. In that moment, it was worth it to me and I probably would have paid $100. Lol. Once we parked in front of the hotel and the valet got my information everything was smooth and easy. Period the accommodations were very nice. The staff was nice. I had no issues at all. Just wanted to mention the parking to save someone else any confusion. I definitely recommend this property.

Loved my stay at this hotel, it’s super easy to get to right off the freeway, you hand your car over to valet right when you arrive and don’t have to worry about parking. Our room was very clean, shower was really nice, bed was surprisingly comfortable. The tv in the room was a nice big flat screen too which was a nice bonus. We went to golden 1 center for concert and it was only about a 3 minute walk there and super easy and safe.

Best Hilton facility we've ever stayed at! Clean, conveniently located, and the gym was the best I've seen.

The valet parking was good.

The property is nice, clean, and right in the middle of downtown, only downside is that they only offer valet parking for 45$ a day, and there are no street parking near of other parking lots, we had to walk 5-6 minutes to a parking garage, which is 4$ 1hr or 28$ max , but no in and out privileges or the time starts all the way over!

THERE IS NO ON SITE PARKING. There is Valet ONLY! This listing is incorrect & misleading. The property or Expedia will not help you. If the parking situation was not FALSELY ADVERTISED, I would’ve NEVER booked this place. It’s in a sketchy area. The parking is OFF SITE. Upon discovering this, we tried to cancel. There is no way to know until you arrive. They’ve ruined my daughter’s birthday weekend. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The staff at the front desk and at The Willow were all so kind and helpful! Would definitely come back. My ONLY complaint is there was only one valet employee and he was working his butt off in the heat, so it made the wait time for parking much longer

Hotel was clean and close by Golden 1 center. Staff was amazing. Valet parking!

Great staff, clean room, it feels great. We are here for a volleyball tournament. I love the location. Definitely will be back!

Room was really small and hotel decor was outdated. Room was clean minus the dirty drinking glass. Staff was wonderful and all amenities were easy to access.

The property is cute. However, of the 4 nights I was there, 3 of those housekeeping was vacuuming and banging stuff around at 11pm, also talking really loud. Housekeeping didn't come to refresh my room ever.

I was really disappointed in the cleanliness of my room. It hadn't been vacuumed, there was trash in the corner next to the bed. Dirty mirrors and 2 of the lights didn't work. The Willow hotel bar and restaurant was a HUGE disappointment. They were not prepared for large crowds and the bartender was overwhelmed. Had to wait 30 minutes for a glass of wine. For the amount of money spent, it was disappointing.

Great hotel concept. Most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in, possibly ever. My room faced the street and unfortunately, the street noise was ridiculously loud.

I really loved the decor and interior design of this hotel, which led me to book, the only problem was that the heat in the room. I could never get the temp right in the room, it was cold. We turned it up to 80 degrees and it was cold in the room when I woke up. Other than that the room was nice. Bed was so comfortable.

The room was a little funky... Shades were broken... Shower for cold and had a roof panel that was flaking Sheetrock... Tub was cupping away from what appeared to be a attempt at a DYI tub refinishing kit.... Willows was good. Overall had a great experience and this place is very convenient for going to Golden 1 center or Old Town.

The room and staff were great! Comfortable bed beautiful linens and very clean. The room I was in was situated over where the valets are. The windows are not very sound proof so I could hear conversations and interactions with incoming customers. I was on a time difference so I needed to go to bed early. Beautiful place just too noisy for me.

Really nice room! I thought it would be slightly larger but overall the staff was super nice and the place was clean!

We didn’t love this property. The room had two small windows almost at the ceiling and was very dark. It’s been updated but still felt old to me. We booked two queen beds weeks in advance but were told they didn’t have that available upon arrival and weee given an upgrade to a kind with a sofa bed. Personally I never want to sleep in a sofa bed and didn’t feel like that was an upgrade. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again but it worked for one night.

My room was absolutely quiet and peaceful. The shower was amazing. The furnishings were exquisite. A wonderful stay.

Arrived two hours after check in time and had to wait 30 min for my room to be cleaned. Asked if I can be given room that is not on the first floor (street level), but my request was disregarded. The room window was facing the street sidewalk and had giant green fake bush wall in front so people walking by don't peek in. So my blinders had to remain shut the entire time.

The whole feel of the hotel is simple, elegant, and a nice combo of modern and classic aesthetic. It was noisier than I was hoping it would be at 5 floors up, but it's very close to the freeway so I guess it makes sense. Also, we had a "river view" which is a little misleading. It's more like river facing but you cant really see the river. At least not from the 5th floor. You can see the bridge though so that's nice. The room was a beautiful, beds comfortable, and amentities were all there.

The hotel was adorable. The staff were all friendly, efficient and happy to see us. Our room was perfect. We will definitely stay there again. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do.

My reservation was lost and I was sent to another hotel that did not have my reservation either.

I give it a 4 starts because I was there two days and they did not refill my coffee or refreshed my room when I left the card at the door. Later in the evening I called downstairs for a few Splendas and creamers for a at night, I waited for 25 minutes and no one came to deliver or check on me. I had to go downstairs to get them myself. Otherwise it would have been excellent.

The front desk staff was so kind and accommodating. The property was way nicer than expected and there weren’t any loud guests that disrupted our stay. Will definitely be booking here again in the future!

In an area that is good if you are attending an event at the arena. But best to skip the OLDSAC experience...they've turned it into the worse sort.of tourist trap. We arrived early and had to pay a $50 early check in fee for a room that was ready and waiting...and we were told had we booked directly vs through Expedia there would be no charge. That didn't feel good.

Check in took over an 1 hour didn’t have our room ready!

The lobby was total chaos at check in. Families everywhere and no one’s room was ready. We were told it would be a few minutes, then a few more then finally at 3:40 we stood in line again and got a room. They never called me or texted like they said they would. Total mess. No rooms ready AT CHECK IN TIME.

Property was fine but they charged my card 3 times for the same room

Close to old town with various things to do and good food spots

A short, but lovely stay at The Exchange. The room was very clean with great amenities. There are many restaurants within walking distance. The proximity to Golden 1 Center was the reason for choosing this hotel, and it turned out to be a good choice!

Boutique hotel right where you wanted it to be. Valet your car and forget about it. Walked to the arena. Walked to old sac. So easy. Hotel was very nice. Staff were nicer. Would do that again.

Beautiful hotel with very nicely furnished rooms. Extremely quiet. Willow restaurant on site was delicious for both breakfast and dinner. Walkable to Old Sacramento, nearby mall and shopping and even downtown Sacramento and the Capital. Only 15 minutes from airport. Didn’t need a car. Surrounding area was pretty safe but it is California so the homeless population is certainly present. Very much enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Great location, clean spacious rooms, excellent restaurant, friendly helpful staff.

Hotel was awesome, room was nice. Paid additional for the breakfast but hotel said they didn’t see it on my booking. So I had to pay for breakfast.

The service was great, the rooms were clean. The bar tender for Happy Hour the evening we were there named Garret was awesome!!!!!

We loved this hotel. The room was great, the service was excellent, and we had a great dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, Willow. We will be back!

For $300 and NO MICROWAVE, $8 WATER, NO BREAKFAST even Motel 8 has Bagels, $45 Parking added to bill I would have parked my self to Garage close that was like $30 for the night, Bar is Stuffy and so is the restaurant overpriced well to do Yuppy Restaurant. There are many other close at DOCO to go to, our view was the backside of the hotel notnggn great. OK For the 1 time New Years stay but wont do that again.

Willow restaurant was very good!

Good central location for waterfront, Crocker museum, stadium, capital, and even mid city if you are willing to walk a bit. Clean and efficient. Bar was too high cost. Gave us token for 1 free drink but only cheap lager. and Chianti covered. . IPA almost $12.

Coffe-mate creamer in the room was curdled. At the restaurant in the morning had to battle to get the breakfast that I pre-paid for on Hotels.com when I booked. Then, come to find out breakfast was not 'included' but, rather just a $15 credit for breakfast. Seems there a disconnect with the way Hotels.com advertised and the Hilton's actual policy. Neither the front desk nor the waitress know what to do; how to apply the credit. Frustrating and embarasing.
