It was spectacular! Restful, peaceful, wonderful!!! Everything you need in a little kitchen area. Cute shops and restaurants in nearby towns. Very nice fire pit, Hiking trails right on property. Adorable sheep (don’t worry- no smell) The owners were amazing. I hope I get to stay again sometime.

If you are looking for a complete retreat from the world this is it. Quiet and relaxing. It was extremly hot when we were there and while our cabin was great being outside was oppressive. There are several swimming areas and hiking but we needed to discover them on our own. Also some better dining out would be nice. A list of local hikes and creating marked trails on the property would be benficial to the experience for all seasons!

This is a one of a kind place to stay. If you ever dreamed of staying on a Viking movie set then this is your place to stay. Staff are super friendly and check in and check out are very easy. It is very quiet and tranquil.

Cozy, clean and the staff is accommodating and hospitable. Viking village should be on your list of things to check out. It's perfect if you want to get away for a few days and relax. We enjoyed the place and had a great experience. My guess is that it would be a blast to visit when there's snow on the ground or it would also be supercool in the summer when other guests might venture out and be social. Do yourself a favor and check it out

Our stay at Vikings Villages was fantastic. The cottages are done very tastefully, have everything you need and are very clean. The grounds are beautiful, there's a nice firepit to enjoy in the evening. We loved watching the sheep also. The owner was very friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions. We'll definitely be back for a longer stay in the future.

We stayed the weekend at Viking Villages for a birthday celebration. The property was wonderful and the cabins were awesome. Great attention to detail with a full kitchen and working gas fireplace. The flock of sheep and outdoor fire pit were a great touch. Plenty of nearby food options and activities.

We loved our Viking overnight. We visited nearby SoulFest in Greenfield, MA and took the 30 minute drive to this remote, quiet, unique, venue for its creative experience. My kids were blown away. Our cabin was beautifully decorated and fully stocked with a small fridge, stove, cups, dishes, etc. two twin beds and a king bed was good for our family. We explored the property, the sheep on site, and enjoyed our stay.

The property is amazing. You stay in a brand new Viking cabin. So clean and comfortable. There are kitchens in each cabin. There’s no restaurant on the property but many options a short drive away. It really was a fantastic place.

The resort exceeded our expectations. The property truly feels like a Viking village with amazing attention to detail. The cabin was SPOTLESS !!!! I think this is the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed in. You can really tell the ownership / management truly cares about this beautiful place. The Viking sheep outside was an extra bonus and they were adorable ! I cannot wait to book again with the rest of the family. Great place for adults and kids. BOOK NOW!! you will NOT regret it I promise.

Excellent cabin filled with the scent of wood! Healing for body and soul. Everyting was spotless and well-maintained. Staying there felt like stepping into a real Vilking village, somewhere in Norway during the Viking age. We only had one night this time, but we’re definately planning a longer stay next time ~

What a fantastic property! Great attention to detail, our little Viking cottage was adorable and cozy. Lovely bathroom, extremely comfortable beds, well appointed kitchenette. My only complaint is that the futon/loveseat in the sitting area was NOT comfortable to sit on. Absolutely the only thing that wasn’t great. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely spectacular experience! We stayed here with a friend in early October. We couldn’t believe what a truly detailed and fun trip into the Viking past! The Viking cabin was luxurious and so well laid out. The showers and bathroom was extremely clean and high and finishes. The kitchen was a perfect size for the group. Our only complaint was the futon in the living room, it was inexpensive/uncomfortable to sit on (we understand it’s perfect for extra bed for children) Such a great time and we loved walking the grounds and the wildlife. We can’t wait to return next year!

We stayed in August air-conditioning was as cold as you wanted it to be and we like it cold! Inside it was quiet couldn’t hear any outside noise outside. It was peaceful and serene. Beautiful places to sit and enjoy the outside and the sheep honestly one of the nicest places I’ve stayed at in a very long time Five star quality space all around we kept remarking about the cabin how nice the build was and the materials used. Highly recommend. Also close to Brattleboro for dinner and shopping and a nice lake for swimming and an adorable ice cream store 2 miles away.

Super fun stay at Vikings Villages - There was only one other cottage rented while we were there so it was very quiet and private. The interior is comfortable and the viking theme was fun. Only issue would be the size of the television. All in all great hosts and nice stay - close to excellent restaurants and shopping.

Very different experience and we loved it! We were in town for my husband to run a local marathon and it was nice to have the kitchenette and separate sleeping areas for the grownups and kids. Every detail in the chalet was considered - would definitely come back when we can spend more than one night!

This place is great! The cabin was equipped with toiletries and coffee for our weekend stay. And the unit was immaculate. Loved having the lighted makeup mirror in the primary bedroom. Only slight negative was that the beds in the loft were not very comfortable. But a kid probably wouldn’t notice. My teenager didn’t seem to. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Gorgeous, brand new, fun property set in a quiet forest outside of Guilford. The cabins look rustic but have all the modern conveniences. They look fantastic and are comfortable and cozy. Christina was very patient and helpful with us.

The owners are simply the best. Stepped in to help and treated us like family. The village is wonderful and the cottage was so cool. Our 8 year old twins loved it. Two stories with a kitchen.

This Viking Village is fantastic. There is so much eye for details, you really enter a different world. We had a great time there and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The house has everything you need, and is very comfortable. The guide inside the house with tips and suggestions for visiting and eating/drinking in the area is very comprehensive and helpful. Do not mis this place when you are in the area.

Our stay was perfect. Easy check in/check out process. The grounds and cabin were clean and beautiful, such craftmanship. Quiet secluded area. About an hour from Stratton Mountain gondola and 40 mins to Vermont Country Store, which were top on our lists this visit. We traveled with 2 small children and they loved the property. Theres a grassy area with picnic tables and space to walk/run around and explore in front of the cabins. The kids enjoyed looking for rocks. We packed our own baby gate, which made navigating the stairs to loft a breeze. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, would recommend stopping at grocery store in town before arriving as stores seemed to close early and not a ton of food options close by. The owners had the cabin stocked with coffee, a few pastries, and welcome sparkling cider which we enjoyed! We will definitely be back

Gorgeous, brand new, fun property set in a quiet forest outside of Guilford. The cabins look rustic but have all the modern conveniences. They look fantastic and are comfortable and cozy. Christina was very patient and helpful with us.

We loved our Viking overnight. We visited nearby SoulFest in Greenfield, MA and took the 30 minute drive to this remote, quiet, unique, venue for its creative experience. My kids were blown away. Our cabin was beautifully decorated and fully stocked with a small fridge, stove, cups, dishes, etc. two twin beds and a king bed was good for our family. When we arrived there was a company event taking place and just getting taken down. The kids were bummed because they figured it was something they could do and couldn’t, but we explored the property, the sheep on site, and enjoyed our stay no less.

We stayed in August air-conditioning was as cold as you wanted it to be and we like it cold! Inside it was quiet couldn’t hear any outside noise outside. It was peaceful and serene. Beautiful places to sit and enjoy the outside and the sheep honestly one of the nicest places I’ve stayed at in a very long time Five star quality space all around we kept remarking about the cabin how nice the build was and the materials used. Highly recommend. Also close to Brattleboro for dinner and shopping and a nice lake for swimming and an adorable ice cream store 2 miles away.

Perfect for a family or couples getaway. A 15 minute drive into town and you have a grocery store, dunkin donuts, and a couple other places. But other then that, it's extremely quiet and the cabin is really clean. It was very nice and we will defenitley be back again.

Our stay was perfect. Easy check in/check out process. The grounds and cabin were clean and beautiful, such craftmanship. Quiet secluded area. About an hour from Stratton Mountain gondola and 40 mins to Vermont Country Store, which were top on our lists this visit. We traveled with 2 small children and they loved the property. Theres a grassy area with picnic tables and space to walk/run around and explore in front of the cabins. The kids enjoyed looking for rocks. We packed our own baby gate, which made navigating the stairs to loft a breeze. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, would recommend stopping at grocery store in town before arriving as stores seemed to close early and not a ton of food options close by. The property is amazing. You stay in a brand new Viking cabin. So clean and comfortable. There are kitchens in each cabin. There’s no restaurant on the property but many options a short drive away. It really was a fantastic place.

Our stay at Vikings Villages was fantastic. The cottages are done very tastefully, have everything you need and are very clean. The grounds are beautiful, there's a nice firepit to enjoy in the evening. We loved watching the sheep also. The owner was very friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions. We'll definitely be back for a longer stay in the future.

Very different experience and we loved it! We were in town for my husband to run a local marathon and it was nice to have the kitchenette and separate sleeping areas for the grownups and kids. Every detail in the chalet was considered - would definitely come back when we can spend more than one night!

We stayed the weekend at Viking Villages for a birthday celebration. The property was wonderful and the cabins were awesome. Great attention to detail with a full kitchen and working gas fireplace. The flock of sheep and outdoor fire pit were a great touch. Plenty of nearby food options and activities.

Absolutely beautiful, highly recommend you staying here. Gave great local options of visiting such as the green covered bridge, local food venues. I would say stop at a grocery store and you can make dinner there. We did go to the local co op in Brattleboro. Hands down the ax throwing was a fan favorite.

Viking Village was such a unique and enjoyable stay! It was impeccable, every detail (and there were a lot of very fine ones) was perfectly executed. Very comfortable, quiet, and felt much more luxurious than we are used to as budget travelers. Every amenity was quality and in working condition, we especially appreciated the fireplace. Beautiful scenery and wildlife. No notes, everything was perfect!

Found out about this place on TikTok and it is a must see! It’s way better in person than any photos I’ve seen. The chalets are roomy, have all the amenities needed, very clean, I could go on and on with great things to say! Staff was very friendly and helpful when asking questions. Next visit will be for more than one night for sure!
