We love the Kent Motel; every room is unique and eclectic and the croissants and coffee in the bake shop downstairs to die for! Quiet neighborhood, but convenient to the Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake, with great restaurants and historic sites very nearby. This is our favorite place to stay in the area, and we say that as frequent visitors to Niagara who have tried a significant number of accommodations in the area!

This is a hidden Gem! I was looking for something quiet but close to everything with easy transportation. This is a perfect distance from the Falls. You can use the bus system right outside the Motel to get from the falls to Niagara on the Lake. Parking in these places are tedious and expensive. The beds are very nice I especially was happy with them and the bedding. The Hosts were very friendly and informative. Everything was very clean. It was affordable. I wish they had a Coffee maker in the room, but they do have a common room where you can make food or coffee. It is open 24/7 and very clean. I have stayed on the falls but it was so overwhelming and noisy after a long day! Also they have bike rentals and there are plenty of places to walk down to the river! Love this place for the value and location its a no brainer! I will definetly stay here when I come back!

This is a nice little hotel in a very quiet, peaceful little village between the action in Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake. We booked for two couples and got two end units of the hotel, located above the lounge. Both were very comfortable with balconies which adjoined to each other. Check-in was via email and seamless. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. It would be better if and when the lounge opens for coffee and breakfast. There is almost nothing in terms of shops or restaurants in Queenston, Ontario so the lounge would help. Will definitely come again

Stayed just one night following a 100+ kilometre bike trip with a friend - Yvonne was very accommodating of our later than planned arrival time and checked us in over the phone with ease, while also giving us access to a secure bike storage area. Room was cozy, classically furnished, spacious, and exactly the kind of place we needed to unwind and recuperate after a very long day on the bikes, in a quaint and historically significant locale.

Very nice hotel! It’s in a beautiful area and convenient as well. 15 min to Niagara on the lake to the north and 10 min to the falls south. We stayed in a suit which was very pretty, bathroom was large, had an espresso machine, fridge with wine, beer and sparkling water for a fee. We also enjoyed the lounge, food was delicious! Outdoor patio is very nice as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend

I really liked the cleanliness of the room and it was super cute! We were not told there was a security guard that roams at night, so we did get scared that someone was standing in the parking lot.

I booked last minute, needing a place to stay with close proximity to Fort George to accompany my child to an activity for the weekend. I was thrilled to find a little slice of heaven! An exceptional experience in every way. To begin, cheerful staff and an easy check in process- plenty of parking and situated in a beautiful neighbourhood, just a few minutes drive from all the shops and restaurants. The room was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Even though I was travelling alone, I felt extremely safe here and it was very peaceful and quiet! I started each morning with a walk on the nearby trail system and then a coffee and a fabulous pastry- from the fresh selection available in the lobby. My child will likely attend the same function next year and I will make sure to book a room at the Kent motel in advance this time. I look forward to returning!

Very cute place. Super clean except for lots of hair on the bathroom floor. Bed was very comfortable, and I’m fussy because of arthritis in my back. Fridge and coffeemaker were nice. The tub was extremely slippery, as a senior I’m afraid of falling, especially with soapy feet. A bathmat would help. The tub is also very high and hard to get in and out of. The only other suggestion would be a second waste can in the bedroom. We made a lot of trash and had to take it to town to dump. Very small things, but they would make a difference. We loved the place and would definitely stay here again!

Very nice and very clean! Rooms are small but perfect for a getaway where we didn’t have a lot of room time planned. The staff was so nice. The pastries and coffee offered on Saturday were phenomenal. The staff offered wonderful suggestions for dinner and breakfast in the area during our stay. We enjoyed all the recommendations. Check in and out were very easy. Beds are firm and pillows were very nice. Shower had wonderful water pressure and was very hot. Nespresso machine was an indulgent perk that we appreciated. The location was great for not NOTL and the Falls. Very quiet and nice area. Everything you need at an affordable price and with great parking. Definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at the Kent Motel. It was quiet, the rooms were very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The check in process is super easy because they text you the code to your room beforehand. There is not always someone at the front desk so it's helpful to be able to get in by yourself. In the morning, the front desk has a great selection of pastries and fresh coffee. The motel is a short drive from the falls and Niagara on the Lake, but very removed from the touristy parts.

Our stay was great. A convenient/easy 15 minute drive from downtown Niagara on the Lake, just up the river. From the Kent we were able to take a walk/hike up hill to a monument that provided an amazing overlook of the entire area from the river below and then out Toronto all the way across the lake. Our room king room was sweetly decorated, and very spacious, the bed quite comfortable. It was a bit chilly outside so we didn’t use the balcony but that meant we used the gas fireplace a bit. The Nespresso machine was a nice way to start the morning. This was our first time to Niagara on the Lake area, we are already planning a return for this summer with our adult children.

Property was located in a quiet, beautiful area and very accessible to Niagara Falls by car. The rooms were clean with your basic amenities. There was no kettle or bottled water in the room though. The property is beautiful but old. We were in the first floor and we could hear people walking up and down the stairs. We could also hear our neighbour turn on their shower and heard the water running. If you’re looking for a quiet, solitude stay, maybe avoid this property, but if you are a couple or a smaller party just looking for someplace clean and accessible in beautiful Queenston, we recommend this place! The staff were also lovely. They also had security patrolling the parking area at night.

Rooom is clean and modern. There’s AC but it was still a little humid in the room. Complimentary yoga on Sunday was a nice touch. The 24 hour concierge was great service. I forgot my toothpaste and they helped me find some. Location is great and quiet. Would stay here again.

Very nice hotel! It’s in a beautiful area and convenient as well. 15 min to Niagara on the lake to the north and 10 min to the falls south. We stayed in a suit which was very pretty, bathroom was large, had an espresso machine, fridge with wine, beer and sparkling water for a fee. We also enjoyed the lounge, food was delicious! Outdoor patio is very nice as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend

Stayed just one night following a 100+ kilometre bike trip with a friend - Yvonne was very accommodating of our later than planned arrival time and checked us in over the phone with ease, while also giving us access to a secure bike storage area. Room was cozy, classically furnished, spacious, and exactly the kind of place we needed to unwind and recuperate after a very long day on the bikes, in a quaint and historically significant locale.

While the room we had was clean, there were many inconveniences at the Kent motel. In the room, the small bar was encouraged over having the regular coffee room service. In order to have a coffee in the morning, one must go to a cafeteria of sorts and use a code. My code didn’t work, and neither did it work for others staying there. This meant that I stood in the garbage room until I gave up. The 24 hour concierge did not work and the girl in the lounge was surprisingly rude. I won’t return.

Very nice and very clean! Rooms are small but perfect for a getaway where we didn’t have a lot of room time planned. The staff was so nice. The pastries and coffee offered on Saturday were phenomenal. The staff offered wonderful suggestions for dinner and breakfast in the area during our stay. We enjoyed all the recommendations. Check in and out were very easy. Beds are firm and pillows were very nice. Shower had wonderful water pressure and was very hot. Nespresso machine was an indulgent perk that we appreciated. The location was great for not NOTL and the Falls. Very quiet and nice area. Everything you need at an affordable price and with great parking. Definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at the Kent Motel. It was quiet, the rooms were very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The check in process is super easy because they text you the code to your room beforehand. There is not always someone at the front desk so it's helpful to be able to get in by yourself. In the morning, the front desk has a great selection of pastries and fresh coffee. The motel is a short drive from the falls and Niagara on the Lake, but very removed from the touristy parts.

The hotel manager Matthew and staffs are super friendly and helpful. The manager was well communicated with me, and he even let us check in two hours before for our convenience. A very clean and comfortable room, more than I expected. The little cafe is nice, outside and inside of it provides relaxing atmosphere. I guess that’s why I missed the pastry and coffee there. A location is perfect for our stay. Wet Jet Boat and The Old Town are nearby. Will pick The Kent again on next visit for sure!

This is a hidden Gem! I was looking for something quiet but close to everything with easy transportation. This is a perfect distance from the Falls. You can use the bus system right outside the Motel to get from the falls to Niagara on the Lake. Parking in these places are tedious and expensive. The beds are very nice I especially was happy with them and the bedding. The Hosts were very friendly and informative. Everything was very clean. It was affordable. I wish they had a Coffee maker in the room, but they do have a common room where you can make food or coffee. It is open 24/7 and very clean. I have stayed on the falls but it was so overwhelming and noisy after a long day! Also they have bike rentals and there are plenty of places to walk down to the river! Love this place for the value and location its a no brainer! I will definetly stay here when I come back!

The hotel was absolutely peaceful and quiet. Just the type of environment we were looking for. The hotel is between two main attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to avoid the hustle and bustle of the crowds at Niagara Falls and still be within 15 minutes of the falls and the community of Niagara-On-The-Lake.

This is a beautiful motel, with clean, spacious, stylish furnishings, a great tiny cafe for breakfast with the best croissants I've ever tasted, and a location that is perfect for getting to all the attractions of Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake. In a quiet residentail neighborhood that provides a break from all the touristy hustle and bustle. Each room is different; next time I will ask for a room with a desk as I had to do a little work and use the coffee table for my laptop. But that was literally the only drawback I could find; we travel to Niagara several times a year and will definitely stay here again.

Quiet neighborhood, but convenient to the Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake, with great restaurants and historic sites very nearby. This is our favorite place to stay in the area, and we say that as frequent visitors to Niagara who have tried a significant number of accommodations in the area!

The motel is located off the beaten path but the room was fine, very clean and orderly. No options for food or drink on site. No front desk for check in/out. Everything done digitally. Had to drive several kms to get anywhere, for example to get dinner or breakfast or just do some shopping or sightseeing. Using GPS helped find things fairly close by. Overall satisfactory experience.

The property is very nice and the rooms are very clean and well done. The staff is also very nice, I just wished there was a coffee maker in the room and/or the restaurant coffee shop opened earlier than 8 AM. Other than that the Kent Motel was great!

A Wonderful Stay at The Red Coat We had a wonderful stay at The Red Coat B&B in Queenston. From the moment we arrived, Sandra and Keith made us feel genuinely welcome. Their hospitality is warm and personal without ever being overbearing, which made the whole experience feel more like staying in a beautiful home than a traditional B&B. The house itself is beautiful, with so much historic character, but it is also exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. And the breakfasts deserve a special mention. They were absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with a great deal of care. Breakfast each morning was something we genuinely looked forward to. The location is also excellent. Queenston is peaceful and charming, while being conveniently located for exploring Niagara-on-the-Lake, the Niagara Parkway, the wineries, and Niagara Falls. We especially enjoyed being away from the busier tourist areas and coming back to such a quiet and relaxing setting. What really makes The Red Coat special, though, is Sandra and Keith. They are wonderful hosts and clearly take great pride in making their guests feel at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation recommending The Red Coat to anyone looking for a comfortable, charming, and genuinely welcoming place to stay in the Niagara region.
