Located in a quiet area for skiing. It is right close to a lift with good slopes to ski. Dining is excellent at the hotel. Don’t have to go anywhere if you just want to ski.

The staff at Hotel Passo are some of the best staff I’ve ever encountered at a hotel - super friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed but the room looked like it could do with a freshen up of paint (lots and lots of marks and scuffs). The hotel has a bar/bistro and a restaurant. We ate dinner in both the bistro (a la carte) and the restaurant (set menu) and enjoyed both meal options and thought that the food and drink was reasonably priced considering that any other restaurant would be a drive away. The hotel is excellently located with a walking track just down the road from the hotel. The reception also has a small “shop” selling reasonably priced drinks and snacks (again, if compared to say a mini bar). We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.

Fantastic location for hiking to Lago di Sorapis, could leave vehicle in the car park of the hotel. Great breakfast and well worth adding the half board option for dinner - delicious 3 course meal with water and a glass of wine included. Modern facilities.

This hotel was on some of the most winding mountain roads I've seen! Up in a beautiful area of the Dolomites with lots of local hiking and towns nearby. The room was very large with tons of room for all of us but doesn't include air conditioning - according to the front deks they aren't allowed to offer it due to how cold it gets in the winter. I don't really understand that as heat pumps can do both cooling and heating.... We couldn't get the heat to turn off either so had to keep the windows open to try and keep it cooler in the evening - this ended up letting in all sorts of bugs and whatnot. It was some of the hottest weather they get so during the day the room was uncomfortably warm and took a while to cool off. Breakfast was good, lots of options, but so, so busy, many people rushing down at 0700 and it stayed busy for at least an hour. Be prepared to get down early and get a table as seating is limited and people like to "reserve" tables by leaving a bag or something on a char or on the floor even though they're still up getting food. Staff were friendly - the amenities in the room were a bit limited, no coffee machine or kettle. There was a communal kettle in the lobby as well as a microwave and vending machines for coffee. The attached restaurant was okay, but wouldn't recommend it other than it's locality. Much better options in town which is only 10 minutes away or so.

The location is great and the rooms are modern and clean. Although the bathroom was very small and had no windows. We dealt with some quite rude and useless staff. I have a dairy allergy and there are signs everywhere in the dining area saying “ask us about allergies”. When I came to ask them at breakfast, the only thing they could offer me was rice milk and kept offering me milk and yogurt despite explaining several times about my allergy. We then had a very rude receptionist when the app wasn’t working “I’m not a technician I’m not going to stand here and figure this out for you”. And when promised a free breakfast on arrival then they tried to charge us for it, they eventually honoured what they promised but the same guy said “it’s not ok with me but I’ll do it”. This is not a hotel, it’s a hostel with private rooms, and if you want the great service we experienced everywhere else in the dolomites, I’d recommend paying a bit more and staying elsewhere.

Great mountain view room, breakfast was great filled with lots of variety. We picked this location as the loop for Lago di sorapiss starts and ends there. Still in awe over the location. Views of the mountains were spectacular. Staff was great and accommodating. We did have an issue with a hot room as you're not able to control the temp from the room, so we did have some hot sleeps, but when you open the balcony door you can regulate the room with the cold nights. Other than that no issues. Really clean. Definitely looking forward to returning in the future

Meget lydt - man kan høre de andre naboer på værelset. Værelset var fint, lidt slidt. Beliggenheden er helt perfekt hvis man vil besøge Lago di Sorapis. Så skal man ikke bøvle med at finde parkeringsplads, det ligger lige ved starting point.

We enjoyed our stay at this property but check in was a long process. We couldn’t determine if this was the hotel or Expedia mistake. But when we arrived the reception clerk informed us that our room had been canceled. It took about 1.5 hours to sort out our booking. I was on phone with Expedia agent to determine what happened. It got straightened out but have still not determined why the reservation was canceled. This created a major problem for us. All else was great.

We enjoyed our stay at this property but check in was a long process. We couldn’t determine if this was the hotel or Expedia mistake. I want to preface this by saying I've never written a negative review. The front desk was super friendly, the beds extremely comfortable and the location is divine, but the restaurant and breakfast staff were quite rude. One evening, we were told the empty restaurant had no room and were shooed away to the lobby with a minimal menu selectio. There is also a very limited vegetarian selection. Which, after a day of hiking isn't suitable when there are no other food options within walking distance. The thermostat in the room seemed to be broken. It kept getting hotter and hotter at night with no way to control the temp other than opening the window. I hope some of these things get sorted before ski season, because the location really cannot be beat!

I have a dairy allergy and there are signs everywhere in the dining area saying “ask us about allergies”. We then had a very rude receptionist when the app wasn’t working “I’m not a technician I’m not going to stand here and figure this out for you”. And when promised a free breakfast on arrival then they tried to charge us for it, they eventually honoured what they promised but the same guy said “it’s not ok with me but I’ll do it”. This is not a hotel, it’s a hostel with private rooms, and if you want the great service we experienced everywhere else in the dolomites, I’d recommend paying a bit more and staying elsewhere.

We loved this place. It was in the middle of the most breathtaking forest. It was peaceful and beautiful view from balcony. Although just a few minutes down to cortina which was lovely. Spotlessly clean, spacious and the most comfortable beds with cozy premium bedding. The bathroom was huge and very modern. Delicious breakfast including eggs bacon cheese various breads cereals and fruit including gf options! Yeah! They also serve dinner but we did not try it. The best part was the friendly helpful staff. We had a personal problem and Michele, the front desk man called for us and straightened it out in Italian. He really went above and beyond. Everyone was so helpful. I would highly recommend this place if in the area.

Located right near the trailhead for the Lake Sorapis hike which was an added bonus! A 15min drive from down town Cortina as well as a 15min drive to Lake Misurna. Location is definitely second to none.

Located in a quiet area for skiing. It is right close to a lift with good slopes to ski. Dining is excellent at the hotel. Don’t have to go anywhere if you just want to ski.

We had a great stay here. It was so close to the hiking trails we wanted to do. We did have to drive 15 minutes back to town to eat but we were good with that. Parking in Cortina is a challenge. Overall, I would recommend this place.

This is in a good location for hiking, we were an easy drive to some of major hikes in the area and the trailhead for Lake Sorapis is right here. Breakfast was reasonable, with an automatic coffee machine, and decent food. It is a relatively busy hotel and breakfast was quite full right at 7 am.

Constitution noise at 6:45 am each morning. Had to leave windows open bc no AC amd woken up each morning at 4am with very loud birds then 6:45 with loud construction. Location perfect for Lago Soprias hike and short drive to Lago Briaes and Tre Cime. Cortina town was a nightmare bc half the town is under construction and nowhere to park.

O quarto é confortável, mas estava bem quente quando chegamos. A cama é muito boa e o chuveiro tb é muito bom. O café da manhã não é nada extraordinário e para quem deixa para descer depois das 9:00 já não tem tanta opção de alimentos. Poucos funcionários e a limpeza demora um pouco para acontecer nas mesas

Fantastic location for hiking to Lago di Sorapis, could leave vehicle in the car park of the hotel. Great breakfast and well worth adding the half board option for dinner - delicious 3 course meal with water and a glass of wine included. Modern facilities.

Meget lydt - man kan høre de andre naboer på værelset. Værelset var fint, lidt slidt. Beliggenheden er helt perfekt hvis man vil besøge Lago di Sorapis. Så skal man ikke bøvle med at finde parkeringsplads, det ligger lige ved starting point.

Our room was dark, where you hang your clothes half the room had no lights. They give you one bath towel, one hand towel. No Kleenex in the bathroom the toilet paper feels like sandpaper. We checked in on September 11 and were told they turned off the air conditioning to the rooms, was very hot No screen on the windows so the flies come in. you get one pillow and the pillowcase is very thin. Parking is a disaster all the hikers take up majority of the parking paying guest have to fight to get a parking spot. There’s no control to keep the hikers out of the hotel’s parking spot. The buffet has some good points and bad points, you had to swat the flies away from the hot items so we stayed with the sealed yogurt and some of the bread items. Coffee selection is great. I wish we drove into Cortina and rented a hotel room there we had a great time in downtown Cortina and the restaurant we ate at was awesome.

NO AC HERE!!! NO AC!!!! THE BATHROOM SMELLES LIKE SEWER The room: Not sure the facing of our room but our room got baked all day so the temperature in very high ( stay in beginning of September) also couldn’t feel the airflow. The staff gave us a fan but doesn’t bring the temperature down. They told us to open the window but terrified of the bugs/ animals or someone can super easily breaks in. I woke up several times on the middle of the night bc of the heat and opened the window anyways. The bathroom smells like sewer… and the shower is very tiny. Not sure if that is the same as everyone’s room. They started the room cleaning service very early so it woke me up early morning. Our room is the Standard Triple Room. The room amenities are super basic. They only provided shampoo and body wash. No conditioner, no slippers and no kettle or cups. If I would choose again, I would stay at the town center. Bc nothing around the hotel, except one restaurant. Even tho it is 15 minutes drive to the town but it actually takes much longer time bc of the winding road. The hotel itself is not cheap, compared with Otisei. Might b of its location. But everything is Eh( very basic) Would not recommend.

C’est nul! Rien à dire d’autre: c’est nul! Et très cher en plus. On n’est même pas très proches des 3 Cime du Lavaredo. Personne ne vous donne d’info. La chambre est basique et le restaurant c’est un snack service. Sans oublier un garde qui vous demande de partir avec votre voiture dès qu’on a quitté l’hôtel. À éviter absolument
