Courtyard by Marriott Rapid City

The hotel looks fancy. However you are charged for everything including parking. The discounts don’t even cover the cost of parking. The beds are harder than a rock. The water pressure in the shower is a slow stream. It is like staying at a fancy Super 8.

Didn't eat breakfast, the coffee bar was good. Room was excellent.

It was a very beautiful modern up to date hotel I don’t travel much but I was shocked that parking was 9.00 I had questions about the price they quoted me, I booked it at hotel.com Never again!!! They said it was 230.00 for one night and I booked for 107.00 the girl reassured me it was correct. You pay for breakfast at the bistro, you pay for coffee, so many extra items that if you didn’t know about you could really run up a bill The bathroom sink ran all night, we got up several times to adjust the handle. We were on the 2 nd floor and I have no idea if it was the toilet being flushed or what but it sounded like it was a fountain coming down on us You could even hear there coffee pot perking. I don’t like to complain but it said pool it was a splash pool with wristbands outside the hotel area, we were planning on leaving around 9 but all the noises woke us up around 6:30

They never made us aware that they were going to charge us for parking. We’ve stayed there several times in the past and we’re never charged for parking.

Gym is very nice except all 3 elliptical machines are not working. I stay at this location because of the gym, I was here in February and again in March, both times equipment was not working.
