Beautiful rooms and excellent staff!

Check in was smooth. Staff was friendly but the room smelled like smoke. I called the front desk to complain but she said that was the last double queen. Then she offered a floor fan so I can circulate the smoke out of the room which didn’t make any sense because the windows do not open. Needless to say I slept horribly and to make things worse my son had an asthma attack because of the smoke. I wish the hotel was more accommodating because I typically like staying at this hotel.

The bed was not that confortable and the air conditioner/heater was loud when it waa working.

The hotel is clean, has friendly staff, and offers a decent breakfast. It’s conveniently located near the American Dream Mall, and it even has a washer and dryer. However, the staff is often understaffed and not very responsive to requests made through the app. For example, when I asked to clean my room, it never came until the next day. Towels weren’t delivered but we later found out it’s because there was no on site staff to bring them upstairs. The pool is a bit small, but it’s still good enough for kids. The bar is closed most of the time.

Our bathroom was neglected. We found feces in the toilet and the 2 toilet paper rolls were literally less than 1/2 complete. Putting them together wouldn’t have equaled an entire roll. We had to call the main desk to ask for more paper. Upon checking out, I told the 2 gentleman employees behind the check out desk about our bathroom issue. They said sorry but truthfully, didn’t really seem to care much. Overall, I was disappointed by our experience this time around. Won’t be returning.
