They have nice bar, with happy hour. Nice breakfast and coffee always available. We have used them twice going to visit college. Rooms have refrigerators, etc. and clean. Always friendly

The hotel is in the center of town near restaurants. Not really a walking area though. It is supposed to have an evening bar but it was closed the whole time we were there. The lock never worked on my room even though they stated they fixed it.. The housekeeper was very nice.

It was okay. Found previous occupants swimming goggles sticking out from under one of the beds. Looked under the bed and also found a pile of crumbs. I don't think they swept the floor from previous ones. Didn't use the pool so can't comment on it but everyone was friendly and breakfast was okay. Beds and pillows were okay. Parking was easy and in a quiet location. TV was in an awkward location. Other than the sweeping the floors and the location of the tv I don't have any complaints. I would recommend this hotel.

Staff went out of their way to be accommodating. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The facility was clean. The outdoor areas were well maintained, and pet friendly. The pool and laundry facilities were clean and easy to use. The breakfast was delicious and buried and it was nice to have a bar open in the evenings on site. I would certainly stay here again.!

Room was great, I feel the smell of sheets and towels could be improved. The thing I had the most uneasy feeling about was the staff set outside around a fire pit. It should be in rear of building. I did not know if these were homeless or smokers or what, just unprofessional. Just my opinion.

Stayed here in November and had no issues so when we had to comeback to the area again we chose this hotel . Checkin easy, has a small bar (was out of my bourbon) but had a couple others. Nice breakfast. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

This immaculate, well-outfitted hotel was a haven for us. We loved the generous and tasty complimentary breakfast. The kitchenette was such a help, as were the coin-operated laundry facilities on site. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

It was okay. Found previous occupants swimming goggles sticking out from under one of the beds. Looked under the bed and also found a pile of crumbs. I don't think they swept the floor from previous ones. Didn't use the pool so can't comment on it but everyone was friendly and breakfast was okay. Beds and pillows were okay. Parking was easy and in a quiet location. TV was in an awkward location. Other than the sweeping the floors and the location of the tv I don't have any complaints. I would recommend this hotel.

The grounds surrounding the property were nice, but my hotel room wasn't clean. The dining table was dirty, the chair and ottoman were covered in dried skin and dandruff, and the comforter on one of the beds was dirty with lipstick stains on it. Back to Howard Johnson's for next stay in Lima.

Check in was great! We asked to change our room type and he was able to accommodate. The only issue we had was that the room smelled strongly of food and this persisted until morning. There were also hairs in the shower. Breakfast attendant was great - very friendly and helpful.

TownePlace was top notch for someone looking for a stress-free comfortable place to sleep. The hotel is modern and clean as are the rooms. Even the TV remote was clean under a blacklight, a first for me. I work long days and only need a room to sleep with stable internet to keep up to date with work and family, and TownePlace exceeded all expectations. All that and the price was comparable to most entry level (not bargain) hotels. Also, the staff were as kind and helpful as one can be.

Property was new however our door had a huge gap at the top and we could see through the door into the hallway. We couldn’t lock the interior lock but door was locked from the outside. We told the staff at checkout.

The hotel itself was great. Unfortunately someone next to me had 2 bug dogs that barked their full heads off for 4 hrs straight. Not happy at all.

The hotel is in the center of town near restaurants. Not really a walking area though. It is supposed to have an evening bar but it was closed the whole time we were there. The lock never worked on my room even though they stated they fixed it.. The housekeeper was very nice.

Staff went out of their way to be accommodating. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The facility was clean. The outdoor areas were well maintained, and pet friendly. The pool and laundry facilities were clean and easy to use. The breakfast was delicious and buried and it was nice to have a bar open in the evenings on site. I would certainly stay here again.!

The lady that work the night shift (we arrived late), was wonderful. I believe her name was Christy. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. The hotel was great and the room smelled amazing when we walked in. The breakast was okay options were not the greatest.

Stayed here in November and had no issues so when we had to comeback to the area again we chose this hotel . Checkin easy, has a small bar (was out of my bourbon) but had a couple others. Nice breakfast. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

This immaculate, well-outfitted hotel was a haven for us. We loved the generous and tasty complimentary breakfast. The kitchenette was such a help, as were the coin-operated laundry facilities on site. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The hotel was absolutely incredible. However… When we came in to get the room, we were not told what time breakfast was. I actually chose this hotel for the breakfast. So disappointed that when I called down at 9 o’clock, they said it was already over. I’ve never heard of a hotel ending their breakfast at 9 AM. Also, there was a suspicious lady that was sitting in the lobby when I checked in and then again, several hours later when I came back to the hotel, she was still there.

Incorrect Credit Card Charges, Room Deficiency, and Request for Compensation My experience involved serious issues with both the handling of my credit card and the condition of one of our rooms. These problems caused considerable inconvenience, financial stress, and frustration throughout what should have been an enjoyable trip. Incorrect and Duplicate Credit Card Charges The payment was to be settled at checkout. However, before I had even arrived at the hotel the morning of my travels I discovered that my credit card had been charged twice for incorrect amounts. I immediately contacted the hotel to complain. Although the transactions were subsequently reversed, the funds remained held against my available credit. When I arrived at the hotel later that day and checked in, my credit card was charged again, resulting in another set of charges/authorizations and further reducing my available credit. At checkout, I again had to spend considerable time trying to have these issues corrected and the unnecessary holds released. I also contacted my credit card company directly. I was advised that although the transactions had been reversed or refunded, the funds would remain unavailable. I had to travel home with no emergency money due to hotel double charging error. Staff did nothing to resolve this issue.
