Later check in (1130 pm) and they didnt have the 2 queen room we paid for, so they put us in the king with a pull out couch. As soon as we walked in, we noticed the room smelled musty and everything felt damp, even the carpet. Its like they left the window open (it was mid 90's) all day. We turned the AC on (was on heat 72), but even after almost an hour it only cooled off down to 70 (tried to set it lower, but its locked out). Since it was already 1230am and we had to be back on the road again at 7, we just sucked it up and fell asleep. Normally, Holiday Inn Express is my go to, but this stay was disappointing. Hopefully, it was a one time fluke.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only issues we had were that the toilet ran continuously and one of our neighbors was smoking in their bathroom which caused the smell to flow into our bathroom and into our room. The toilet issue I was able to handle by opening the tank lid and lifting up the lever to force the toilet to stop trying to fill more.
