The place was empty. No front desk staff. You MUST check-in thru their app; even at the kiosk. Frustrating for an older couple. Finally go through the system with the help of a voice on the kiosk. Found the parking but door app didn't work on first three tries. Finally got it to open and we quickly grabbed all our stuff. Got the room and door opened on second try. Room was well appointed, clean and bright. Robes were even provided; a nice touch But...we were afraid to leave our room for fear of never getting back in. We stayed in; fortunately had earlier leftovers for dinner. Fine for one night. By 8 a.m., the hotel was texting inquiring when we were checking out! Really?!? I just woke up. Check out isn't until 11 a.m. It was off season so most things were closed. Didn't see any people. Weird. Would I stay again?? Hummm...maybe

The hotel is situated great for huckster mtn bikers with the lift across the street. Biggest negative is there’s not many places open for food and entertainment in the summer. There’s also NO cell service, so be prepared to be cut off from making phone calls!! Otherwise the scenery is stunning and the property itself is nice.

1 - No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Mirror fogs up when using shower. 2 - HVAC - Very noisy when it is running. 3 - Hallway temperature is very cold (59 degrees reading) on the 3rd floor thermostat located near elevators. 4 - checkout - There was no one at registration desk at 7:35 am to check me out. Problem is I was required to leave a deposit of $100.00 on a credit card to cover anything I might need. With no one there, how am I getting that deposit refunded or removed from that card? 5 - Lack of food service in the whole area doesn’t warrant a return visit.

Checking in after ‘regular’ hours was horrible. The ‘automated’ system would not work. I found my reservation, but the system would not advance to allow me to create room keys. I exited and retried multiple times. I called the numbers posted for assistance and was unable to reach anyone. I left messages and waited for a reply. Finally, after 45 minutes Travis responded and was able to get in touch with the company that supports the check-in system. He was able to reset the system and help me with creating the room keys. The check-in person through the camera at the kiosk had difficulty finding my reservation in order to create keys as well. Finally, after being there an hour fighting with the check-in kiosk and waiting on responses, we were able to get into our room. There needs to be someone at the front desk at night to respond to difficulties and check guests in.
