It was a very nice inn to stay at and very comforting. The staff was very friendly and room was very clean. The parking garage was nice but hard to maneuver larger vehicles because it’s to tight.

My wife and I stayed at the inn on the ground floor. Short walk to the lodge where the buffet breakfast was served. the we were steps away from the restaurant (which was quite good. I would say the best on the entire mountain), and the pizza joint as well as the bar/restaurant upstairs (which had its own food menu but you could order from the restaurant and the pizza place below). Just a few more steps out the door and you were at the head of the trails and the Powder Monkey chair lift. Perfect location. We loved the gas fireplace in our room. About a 5 min walk to the village area, ski rentals and shops, and main ski school area. There was a shuttle stop right outside if you had gear and didn't want to make the walk. Western Territory (hardest terrain) was right across the street. Only gave it one mark down on cleanliness due to a large white stain on the carpet. looked permanent so I am just being picky at this point because i cant think of anything else other than that. Overall it was a great stay. Its been over 15 years since i have been to Snowshoe so it was a shock to see how much has been added. I would definitely stay again.

Did not like having to walk all the way to another building for breakfast out in the cold and if you wanted to go to the pool or hot tub had to walk 1/2 mile away no one wants to walk that far back soaking wet

The people were nice. The hotel was clean no ice machine in our hotel had to go across the parking lot. To the lodge to get ice had used paper cups to take ice back to room. Had air conditioning setting in the floor hose out the window, barely get by it to get in bed on the backside. The restaurant upstairs burnt the hamburger buns on both sides really bad.

I will start with the property is absolutely beautiful. The building and room itself is well maintained and modern. The girl at the front desk was super sweet and helpful when our “Open Key” app wouldn’t work. Our room, was perfect. I am a bit of a clean freak and always end up bringing cleaning supplies to use in hotel rooms upon arrival. But not this time. The room we stayed in was absolutely SPOTLESS! I immediately felt a wave of relief and happiness to find that I couple simply relax and enjoy my stay without feeling uncomfortable and worried what my three year old may touch in the room. Our housekeepers name was Donna. She clearly works very hard and makes it a priority to make guests feel right at home (if not better). We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return.

We were upgraded to a very nice king suite ! Comfortable bed , lovely big bathroom , good layout, well stocked kitchen . But the rooms carpeting was filthy , my pink slipper Sox were BLACK at the end of the first evening ! Everything else LOOKED clean . Luckily I am a retired nurse so I sanitize everything when we first enter a hotel room. But filthy dirty carpets I don’t expect !

This is actually a very lovely property. We had a late arrival and a very early departure. So this property was basically just a place to get clean and have a good nights sleep. It was unseasonably cold and the in room fireplace and amenities were greatly appreciated. So imagine my surprise when I saw this huge bathtub! Looking forward to a long hot bath, sadly my excitement was dashed when we found it would not hold water. We allowed their maintenance to have a look but it was not apparently fixable. More surprising was that there was no offering of another room or reduction for the inconvenience. Other than that this is a beautiful location and beautiful clean rooms.

Room was very close, bathroom has tub very slippery, not much of a sink in the bathroom and the door is right in the way, everything was clean and nice but for the money I expected a bigger room with a view of something other than dumpsters. Heat & A/C is very noisy. beds were good thou.

Upon arriving, the virtual key app did not work. It took turning on wifi calling to retrieve the voicemail with lockbox information for a physical key (an email was not received). Given the limited cell service at the property and in the surrounding area, it would have been nice to receive this information when I spoke to staff earlier in the day when I confirmed we'd arrive after 9 pm rather than being told they'd reach out again later.

I was told that if we didn't arrive by 3pm I should pick up the key at a different location. When I arrived at the inn all doors were locked and no one was around to ask. There was no cell phone service so we couldn't call for help. When we got to a location with cell service we left a message. No one returned our call. We stayed at another hotel and in the morning called the Corduroy. The only response was she was waiting for the GM to arrive. To date (2 days later) no one has returned our call.

Only had maid service once our whole stay. Bar tender and waitress took more shots than we did. Was given our check at the restaurant and never asked if we were ready to leave. We did not fell welcome or wanted by the staff.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this property. Both the Inn and the Lodge are VERY nice! Clean, quiet and comfortable. This time we chose the lodge because we wanted a sunset view. Beautiful! There are restaurants on the property and it is a short walk to Snowshoe Village which has additional options.

Checked in online; got into my room early. It was before opening day at the resort, so I didn't expect it to be busy. Front desk staff answered my questions, as a first timer in town. Room was spacious and well appointed. Bed comfy. Bathroom looks newly renovated. Loved having a fireplace in the room - made it cozy and warm. Very convenient location to the main resort - will stay again there!

My wife and I stayed at the inn on the ground floor. Short walk to the lodge where the buffet breakfast was served. the we were steps away from the restaurant (which was quite good. I would say the best on the entire mountain), and the pizza joint as well as the bar/restaurant upstairs (which had its own food menu but you could order from the restaurant and the pizza place below). Just a few more steps out the door and you were at the head of the trails and the Powder Monkey chair lift. Perfect location. We loved the gas fireplace in our room. About a 5 min walk to the village area, ski rentals and shops, and main ski school area. There was a shuttle stop right outside if you had gear and didn't want to make the walk. Western Territory (hardest terrain) was right across the street. Only gave it one mark down on cleanliness due to a large white stain on the carpet. looked permanent so I am just being picky at this point because i cant think of anything else other than that. Overall it was a great stay. Its been over 15 years since i have been to Snowshoe so it was a shock to see how much has been added. I would definitely stay again.

Check in/out was very easy to do in advance via my phone. The staff member at the front desk was very helpful when we arrived and guided us to parking options since we were towing a trailer. The room was wonderful--really more of an apartment than a room. It appeared newly updated, with a nice kitchen area and huge bathroom. The rooms are cleverly situated, with separate pairs of rooms sharing a small foyer so that friends or family traveling together could move between the rooms and still have a locked outer door. Breakfast was somewhat disappointing with a very limited selection of items.

I liked the room we had and the parking was very good. What I didn't like is I was never told about the lack of dining facilities on Tuesday & Wednesday. One of the staff people should have explained this to me at check-in. We went without dinner on Wednesday after a long day away from the hotel. Having to drive down to the village was something I didn't want to do after having a long day.

Property was clean and beds were comfortable. Heated bathroom floor was nice. Check in email recommended. I download an app so that I can skip checking in at the front desk and go straight to my room. It did not work that way, the electronic key was never delivered to my phone and I had to go to the front desk to check in anyway. The front desk staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming the rooms although new felt sterile, they didn’t have a warm or cozy Decour. The included breakfast was sub par. The grits have sugar in them – gross – and there were no healthy options, other than scrambled eggs, which were pretty dried out.

Take note of the difference between suite and studio. We learned the hard way that the studios do not supply any dishware or utensils. I had made chili to heat up in the microwave but when we opened the cabinets in the kitchenette area there were only glasses and mugs. Thankfully the staff sent us some disposable bowls, plates, and forks. The included breakfast was cold every morning regardless of getting there right after opening. I think food is prepared in advance then taken from the fridge to warming trays hoping it will get warm enough for consumption but all never got hot. The bed was comfortable but there was blinking from the smoke detectors distracting sleep. The cost of these rooms are high and do not expect to get what one would expect at a comparable hotel for that price. Snowshoe is an expensive place to lodge in general.

It was a lovely place to stay and I was impressed but VERY disappointed that none of the eating areas were open. I chose because of on site restaurant. That was not mentioned when I booked!!! It is hard enough traveling with an autistic adult without having to search off premises for good!!!

The hotel is situated great for huckster mtn bikers with the lift across the street. Biggest negative is there’s not many places open for food and entertainment in the summer. There’s also NO cell service, so be prepared to be cut off from making phone calls!! Otherwise the scenery is stunning and the property itself is nice.

1 - No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Mirror fogs up when using shower. 2 - HVAC - Very noisy when it is running. 3 - Hallway temperature is very cold (59 degrees reading) on the 3rd floor thermostat located near elevators. 4 - checkout - There was no one at registration desk at 7:35 am to check me out. Problem is I was required to leave a deposit of $100.00 on a credit card to cover anything I might need. With no one there, how am I getting that deposit refunded or removed from that card? 5 - Lack of food service in the whole area doesn’t warrant a return visit.

Checking in after ‘regular’ hours was horrible. The ‘automated’ system would not work. I found my reservation, but the system would not advance to allow me to create room keys. I exited and retried multiple times. I called the numbers posted for assistance and was unable to reach anyone. I left messages and waited for a reply. Finally, after 45 minutes Travis responded and was able to get in touch with the company that supports the check-in system. He was able to reset the system and help me with creating the room keys. The check-in person through the camera at the kiosk had difficulty finding my reservation in order to create keys as well. Finally, after being there an hour fighting with the check-in kiosk and waiting on responses, we were able to get into our room. There needs to be someone at the front desk at night to respond to difficulties and check guests in.
