Staff were very good. Nice breakfast options. Room was clean, however appeared outdated. Balcony door and screen did not operate as they should. Disappointed that the pool and hot tub were out of order. Carpet on outside room access was wavy looking and not flat. Potential trip hazard. Been here 5 out of the last 6 years and likely will look for other options.

Considering the price, the view is the best available. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the other guests are pleasant.

This property is in serious need of updating. The outside is run down and in need up resurfacing (parking lot), and general maintenance and painting of the buildings. Online it shows that there is a pool. There is one onsite, but it, obviously, hasn't been used for a very long time. There were broken chairs, broken umbrella stands around it. Clearly, a bit of attention to detail would go a long way. The gentleman who checked us in was quite rude and appeared totally disinterested in his job. As we approached the rooms on the lower level, you could clearly see that the draperies have started to disintegrate. Again, make some sort of effort at cleaning/updating the immediate things guests will see. This was a less expensive option in St. Ignace, but clearly there is a reason why. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it.
