Overall an amazing experience. The chef in process was easy. We had our little dogs with us and stayed for one night for a conference and the front desk customer service lady was professional and so kind to let us check out late so that I did not have to rush after my last meeting. Our pets had a great stay and everyone we encountered from the valet service to room service was wonderful! We live in Cincinnati and travel for business and can’t recommend this hotel enough! The roof top bar is amazing! And Thank you for letting our fur babies enjoy your wonderful hotel.

Lots of areas within the hotel to enjoy. Rooftop, breezeway, restaurant and bars. It is also next to a bike trail and very walkable to downtown and Rupp Arena. Very accessible to the Highway system so easy in and out. I enjoyed my stay very much.

parking situation is a cluster. I have an electric vehicle and there were non-electric vehicles parked in the charger spaces. the parking lot was in an overflow situation more that it wasn't while there for the weekend. other thatn the parking, the hotel was great!

I love this hotel, however, their parking lot is right next to the building (30 second walk) and yet you MUST use the valet service regardless of whether you want to or not. This hotel is expensive (but beautiful), but you should not be forced to valet and spend an extra 24.00 on top of everything. You should be able to park yourself in the lot without enduring an unnecessary charge.

Great location for access to state routes, restaurants and landmarks. Within walking distance to Distillery Row with bourbon flights and good food available in several spots. Granddam restaurant was very good with generous portions and a great wine list. Lobby bar was a nice setting with great cocktails and bourbon choices.

Love the shuttle service esp when we have a big crew. Gym was great for what I needed and the room was adorable. Only ask is that the restaurant have more basic, healthy options.

The room had trash and hair on the towels when we arrived. I reached out to the hotel after we left and never heard anything back. For as much as you pay to stay here, the staff and service was very poor. Nothing is complimentary besides water.

Everything was absolutely incredible. The staff was amazing, the hotel is incredible, the room was extremely clean, well taken care of. It’s nice to travel somewhere, pay a little extra and have my high expectations met. And the SMELL! Whatever the fragrance is that they have pumping through the hotel is wonderful. The in-room bar items are reasonable prices, the CANNED WATER was a 10/10, we loved this place, we will absolutely be staying here from now on when we visit Lexington.

We loved the trendy vibe of the hotel — everything felt stylish but still cozy. We ended up eating most of our meals right at the hotel and honestly, the food didn’t disappoint. Service was consistently great, our bed was super comfortable, and the whole place was spotless. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants a relaxing and tasty stay!

Not a bad stay, almost seemed like some soiled sheets were not removed or replaced just flopped around to seem like they were changed/cleaned. Some staff could have been a little more friendly at times. I may consider coming back again but with a bigger party next time.

I felt very comfortable, safe, and respected, the staff in every part of the hotel I encountered was friendly. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and the other visitors encountered were awesome as well.

I loved the hotel over all and the bar and restaurant. Staff is great! I was in room 701, the penthouse. It was lovely, great moody feel, very thoughtfully curated decor. The whole hotel is like this. There's nothing else like it inLexington. My only complaint is this suite shares a common wall with the rooftop bar. And the music comes through loud and clear from the time it opens to the time it closes at 10:30pm. The living room couch is up against this wall. This makes watching TV a challenge even at a comfortable higher volume. I could have watched in the bedroom but I really didn't want to lay in bed. So, if you want to chill after working a long, hot summer day I would not recommend 701. I am sure any other room would be perfect. This is the only room next to the bar. Having said all this, I will return to the Manchester next year for Derby finals!

Beautiful room, comfy bed and super cool atmosphere. It’s pricey however! Also, we were on the 6th floor and could hear the rooftop bar. We could also hear our neighbor snoring amongst other things.

In a hotel you want three things - clean, comfortable and quiet. Manchester is clean and comfortable. However, if you have a room with a door to an adjoining room you can hear everything in the other room. There is no insulation for the sound, Basically you have another roommate. It makes for a rough night sleep.

Nice hotel but room was very small and lacked space for clothes. No dresser or drawers. Old hotel but well maintained. $24 per night for parking and a multitude of different taxes and charges per day. An extra $188 for our 4 night stay. Would not stay there again. We prefer a more modern hotel.

Lovely hotel! Very hip/stylish. (Gorgeous tile work!!!) Our two queen bed room worked well for the two of us, but we can’t imagine more than two people in the room — it would be very tight quarters. If you are sensitive to noise, I suggest ear plugs for sleeping as we could hear neighboring doors opening and closing, conversations in the hallway, traffic noise, etc., but ear plugs are an easy fix!

The property is nice. It has a cool vibe to it. The room was tight. There was not enough space to put our luggage and we were always having to step over it. The location is not great if you don't have a car. There is nothing around that is a convenient walking distance. The was especially problematic since the hotel does not offer a breakfast restaurant and instead serves limited offerings at the bar.

THE VALET LOST OUR KEYS CAUSING MY WIFE TO MISS AN APPT. WE DROVE ALMOST 3 HRS IN THE SNOW STORM FOR SOMEONE WITH THE CONTRACTED VALET SERVICE TO LOSE OUR KEYS. THEY FOUND THEM 2 HRS LATER, WE CHECKED OUT AND LEFT. WILL NEVER EVER BE BACK. VALET COMPANY COST THE HOTEL $700-$800. WE CANCELED OUR ANNIVERSARY DINNER RESERVATIONS AND WENT HOME.

Bar service was not good, waited at table over 15 minutes and was not waited on. Went to bar and ordered it was a a 20 minute wait for 3 drinks,.. later in evening it was a 45 minute wait for meat and cheese plates. Hotel should offer reservations to restaurants on site instead of using a third part app.

there was VERY little information offered at check-in which would have been an ENORMOUS help. how the lights work in room (switches on wall lights and mirror), AC did NOT work - locked, did not tell no phones in room, how to call desk! no explanation of valet for car.....figured it all out - BUT 5 minutes at the check-in with some friendly tips would have made my stay great - as it is I will never stay again OR recommend property

The Manchester is a beautiful hotel. My partner and I stayed for one night as we were in Lexington for a concert. Our room was well appointed, with nice touches like a pour-over coffee option and a customized greeting on the TV screen when we entered. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the decor was lovely. The person who assisted with our check-in process was very warm and welcoming. The hotel’s proximity to and from the Rupp Arena was also a great perk, as we were able to save on an Uber by walking. Unfortunately, I had to dock a couple of stars for service and noise levels. We visited the downstairs bar twice, once for a pre-show round of cocktails and later for a nightcap. Both times, the service was slow and the bartenders were inattentive to the point of flat out ignoring us. My partner ordered a drink that never arrived, and we couldn’t get anyone’s attention…it seemed like they forgot about us, even though there were multiple staff members behind the bar and few patrons. I’ve worked in the service industry before and get that things can happen behind the scenes that impact service levels, but it’s kind of a bummer to spend so much for drinks plus tip and feel like you’re an inconvenience. The noise levels from either the rooftop bar or the nightclub down the street were excessive. The bass thump couldn’t be blocked out, even with white noise apps. This went on until about 1 AM. If these issues were addressed, this would have been a 5-star stay for us.

The hotel and staff were kind and helpful, the area that was a let down were the bartenders at the rooftop. I did a 5 night stay at the Manchester from recommendations from friends staying a this nice hotel. So after my workday (12 hour days) I saw the poster inside the elevator about the rooftop. As I made my way, the host was kind and said I can sit at the bar and this is where my experience took a turn. It seems that the bartender had no interest in offering a menu or a drink. I asked her if I can see a menu, she handed it to me and to start my evening I had 1 beer. I sat down at the bar, had my drink and after I was done, I was completely ignored for about 12 minutes. The other bartender was making drinks, noticed my glass, and kept doing her thing without asking if I'd like something else or if I needed anything. The original person did the same as well and it did give me the feeling that due to my appearance they felt I didn't belong there. We travel a lot for work and this has to be one of those experiences that did ruin the rest of my stay at a place. The people at the downstairs bar were the opposite, so kind to me and have great customer service skills, the bartenders at the rooftop, need to stop judging people on appearances and treat hotel guests kindly. I hope they can be given some coaching that way any person that looks like me doesn't have to have the same experience.

We were quite disappointed by the poor service, which included inattentive, rude bartender in the lobby and inept hostess on the rooftop. The rooms are very small and noisy. The DJ on the rooftop seemed to think he was at a frat party. The coffee urns were empty 2 of the 3 mornings.

The Manchester Hotel is a very nice boutique property. It sits along a stretch of older industrial buildings, which makes the immediate surroundings look less than scenic. On the other hand, many of those buildings have been converted into restaurants and entertainment venues.

This hotel is such a vibe. It is beautifully created and decorated. The restaurant is also a top choice in Lexington. We did not get to check out the rooftop bar because it wasn't open. I don't love that valet or paid parking is the only option and you're not close enough to downtown to walk so if you want to be near downtown I wouldn't pick this. But if you don't mind driving 5 minutes to downtown or taking an Uber (even better) then this is a perfect choice.

Excellent hotel. They need to figure out the rooftop restaurant (service was overwhelmed and food was hit-or-miss), but it’s a really nice property, Hip, clean and well run. I would call out the lady who runs the kitchen for the breakfasts and the valets guys - all were awesome.

Wow! We absolutely loved The Manchester. Beautiful and thoughtfully done property. Service was top tier! Having shuttle service to and from Railbird festival and food available after the late nights was icing on the cake! We will absolutely be staying here again next year!

This hotel is really nice, but the food is not good. They are trying too hard to make it fancy and at a price that isn\'t worth it. They need to stick to some basics with a burger and the fried chicken. I can only describe it as "funky". I ate 2 times in the main restaurant and both were almost inedible. The tri tip was tough as roofing shingles. I was with a party of 8 and no one finished their meals. Don\'t eat here until they change their menu.
