Betty at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The back doors did not lock. The exercise gym had a treadmill , a cable weight machine that I had to fix to use ( the cables had come off of the pulley system, the clothes dryer ran for an hour and did not dry a very light load of laundry. It was the only motel in town but was close to the park and several restaurants

There was construction underway on the front of the hotel that wasn't mentioned anywhere online. The night clerk at the front desk was wonderful. I didn't catch her name. Threadbare carpet in the lobby, in our room there were spots on the walls, a broken drawer handle on one of the nightstands (missing screw), some small but obvious holes in the drapery, and someone in a nearby room was definitely smoking cigarettes. Black and green carpet doesn't show dirt, but that makes it feel like it's hiding a lot of dirt. The heat was overbearing - I had to get up twice to turn it down and was still too hot when it was running while set at 68. Thankfully the bathroom was clean. There was a motion sensor on the light in the room entrance, which is not a bad idea, but the motion sensor in the bathroom has got to go. I hate being blinded by bright lights in hotel bathrooms in the middle of the night, so I don't turn them on unless absolutely necessary. I don't like that not being an option. Why don't more hotels have an integrated nightlight in the bathroom?

The beds were full size not queen. They didn’t have cots or extra blankets. We had to have key cards reprogrammed everyday sometimes twice a day. There was no parking because lot was getting paved so had to find parking everyday and hope vehicle didn’t get hit because so crowded.

I’m not one to usually leave a bad review,but I felt I should this time… Some of the staff was very pleasant. Most of the rooms are used for full timers,they live there. The maid work needs some serious attention. I’ll add photos of the room if this review allows it. This was our second time to have to stay there,it’s the only hotel in town. I gave them a second chance and moments after we checked in,we had to change rooms due to very uncleanliness in many areas including hair on the side of the the bathtub that was easily seen. Thankful the bed was clean,although I can’t describe the smell of the whole place unless you walked past the air wick plug ins that was in the halls. The entrance to the back door stayed freely open 24/7 and required no key card to enter. The lobby entrance and parking lot was literally a place to hang out and drink every evening. We was there for four days and nights as we travel there to visit our grandchildren/children that live near the hotel. Well definitely take the camper for the 9hr drive in the future unless some things change here.

This property was not well cared for. The room had basic cleanliness only, meaning sheets and towels were clean, basic bathroom and room cleaning was done. The walls, floors, baseboards, and finer details were not cleaned and did not appear to have been in quite some time. If an update of the hotel is not within the cost parameters, at the very least the management and ownership should look into having a more thorough cleaning of the rooms/stairwells/common areas. This in itself would make a world of difference.

This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time. There was hair on the bathroom walls, stains on the blankets, and coffee spills on the wall. The whole room felt unclean and poorly maintained. Definitely not a place I’d stay at again.

The room was not in good shape, cracked sink, pictures that had been removed and damage to the walls not repaired. We were there for three nights and our room was not cleaned, nor were clean towels were supplied. Breakfast was generally luke-warm.

The room was filthy as well as the bathroom. The ac filter was packed with dust. There was heavy soiled stains on the chair & ottoman. There was a sticky substance on the phone and tv remote. The bed was comfortable. The staff were highly unprofessional walking around in their socks and more concerned about their 2 friends in the breakfast area than checking us out to leave. We are truck drivers and need to stay on a schedule. I highly recommend NOT to stay there.

The man we dealt with was an older man from another country. He was very nice and I hate to leave a bad review but honesty is always the best policy. I know help is hard to find so that might be a big part of the problem but the room was anything but clean. Urine stains on the bed and bedspread, fecal matter on the side of the toilet, the bathroom vanity had not been cleaned as there were several liquid stains very visible. An opportunity is being missed as this is the only hotel in that area and if it were cleaned and had a good reputation - business would boom.. I can not stress enough how nice the owners were but it could not overcome the dirtiness. I hope they can find some good help

There were parts of the room and bathroom that were not really clean especially in the corners of the room. When I stayed on June 8, the room smelled like smoke. After a short discussion with the manager and convincing him it smelled like smoke even though he came in the room to see for himself, he used a machine of some kind to clear the air.

Stayed three nights. Woman at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable, lots of plump pillows. Breakfast was terrific! Waffles, plain and maple, eggs, sausage, biscuits, and more were available, and all was tasty. Would definitely stay here again

Food was horrible and very limited options. Staff was not polite. Room wasnt clean when we checked in, floor looked like it had not been vaccumed in weeks and fridge had something spilled all over it. Room wasn't cleaned on day 2, no clean towels. Had to go to the front desk to get towels and then was told to brkng the dirty towels down. Will not ever stay again.

It was simply a place to sleep after a long day & drive The building smelled and my room was hot and smelled like smoke. The whole building did. I was honestly worried that I wouldn’t wake up because of the smell but carbon monoxide is scent less so I relaxed some. Also due to the smell I was Leary about sleeping on the bed.

The staff was nice. I needed a first-floor room because I could not do stairs. However, we were given a room that smelled of nicotine so bad, went to the store and bought a can of Lysol spray. Also, the bedspread was stained, and the chair was too dirty and nasty looking to sit on. The previous stays here when I visit Rushville, I had no problem, but it seems to have gone downhill. If you are desperate, it might be fine, but I won't stay there again.

Large and comfortable room. The place is showing its age, but it was clean. There didn't seem to be an elevator to the second floor, which was fine for us but something to be aware of for guests with limited mobility.

Staff was super friendly, absolutely loved chatting with the woman at the front desk. The room was cleanly aside from the walls and the carpeted floor which kept making my feet a little brown even after a shower. There was a consistent loud popping noise outside when we were trying to sleep around 10pm. It stopped after a while though. We couldn’t tell what it was. Honestly super accommodating with our pets!

Initial room assigned had a strong foul odor. They changed me to a suite. Hotel in general is tired and in desperate need of a update and general clean. Staff was amazing though.

The room was filthy as well as the bathroom. The ac filter was packed with dust. There was heavy soiled stains on the chair & ottoman. There was a sticky substance on the phone and tv remote. The bed was comfortable. The staff were highly unprofessional walking around in their socks and more concerned about their 2 friends in the breakfast area than checking us out to leave. We are truck drivers and need to stay on a schedule. I highly recommend NOT to stay there.

The staff was rude and disrespectful. The room was a disaster it had mold in the shower toilet and coffee pot the beds were stained the outlets didnt work. The bed frame had about 2 inches of dust on it the fridge was dirty and half frozen. The floor was dirty none of the trash cans had trashbags. It was the worst stay at a quailty inn i have ever had

We had some trouble with our key cards, and were a bit surprised that the receptionist did not ask for ID before reprogramming them. Otherwise it was a reasonable motel stay in a fairly old building.

Affordable and mostly clean for our one night stay. Waited over 10 minutes and then had to call the phone number to get someone to check us in at almost midnight; in the morning (about 9:45) there was again nobody at the desk or responding to the bell to check out. Won’t be a first choice in the future but it was ok.

Staff was super friendly, absolutely loved chatting with the woman at the front desk. The room was cleanly aside from the walls and the carpeted floor which kept making my feet a little brown even after a shower. There was a consistent loud popping noise outside when we were trying to sleep around 10pm. It stopped after a while though. We couldn’t tell what it was. Honestly super accommodating with our pets!

Betty at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The back doors did not lock. The exercise gym had a treadmill , a cable weight machine that I had to fix to use ( the cables had come off of the pulley system, the clothes dryer ran for an hour and did not dry a very light load of laundry. It was the only motel in town but was close to the park and several restaurants

My wife and I stayed at the Quality Inn and Suites in advance of surgery at the very nearby hospital in Rushville. The room was comfortable and clean, if not a bit dated and tired. The hotel was adequate for our purposes.

Stains on bedding and chair, no toilet paper or tissues in the room, room key didn’t work first time (had to go back to desk) and out of main breakfast item by 8 a.m. (breakfast 6-9). Staff that I dealt with were nice though.

Sufficient for a place to stay but nothing special. Not awful but not exactly impressive. Walls were empty and not repaired after removing what must have been the one thing I the wall. Dirty washcloth was left on shower curtain bar but otherwise good-sized bathroom was clean. Desk chair was stained. Lots of very dated items (washing machine, clock radio, phone, etc.). Breakfast was decent. Bed was clean and comfortable enough.

The hotel was a bit dated. The room itself was clean. The bathroom tiles were cracked and some wallpaper was peeling in spot. The bed was cozy with soft pillows. The sheets were clean but I did notice a stain on the bed spread. I was a dated room but it was very clean. The breakfast was not very good. I just had some fruit. I would stay at this hotel again. The price was fair and it was close to where I needed to be the next morning.

You don't get all the TV channels it says. Looks like part of the hotel is falling apart. Driveway not plowed. Breakfast is very minimal and generic.

Stayed three nights. Woman at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable, lots of plump pillows. Breakfast was terrific! Waffles, plain and maple, eggs, sausage, biscuits, and more were available, and all was tasty. Would definitely stay here again

Other than the bathroom flooding and I’m not sure where the water came from, and mopping up the floor with a towel showed some dirt on the floor, it was a good stay. Staff was amazing! Breakfast wasn’t much but it was fine. Would stay here again if needed.

I booked this hotel based on its positive reviews, but my experience was very different. We arrived around 1:00 a.m. to check in. As we pulled up, a man was sitting on a bench outside the main entrance smoking marijuana, drinking alcohol, and was barefoot. The front desk attendant was friendly and helpful, but what appeared to be her adult children were sprawled across the lobby furniture, which gave the lobby an unprofessional impression. After checking in, we walked to our room and immediately noticed a strong, musty odor throughout the hallways that carried into the room. The carpet felt damp even through our shoes, and there were large stains on both the ottoman and the lounge chair, as well as throughout the room. Based on the overall condition, cleanliness, and atmosphere of the property, we did not feel comfortable staying. We checked out less than an hour after checking in and found accommodations elsewhere. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect the positive reviews that led us to book this hotel.
