Our family chose this rental for a beach weekend getaway. Upon check-in, we faced our first issue, which should have forecast what was to come. The receptionist did not have any record of our name or reservation information. We had to show confirmation of our reservation and that we paid for the weekend. After several minutes of back and forth, we were finally given keys to access our rental. We had a funny feeling about everything but decided to go to our room anyway. Once we entered our room, we were greeted with the smell of trash, unmade beds, towels scattered all over the floor, sandy beach equipment everywhere, and old food in refrigerator. After contacting the front desk, it was revealed that a cleaning service was never hired to clean the space after former renters had left 3 days prior. To the receptionist’s credit, she was able to finally get the owner on the phone and promptly get a cleaning crew to do a quick session. The cleaning crew that arrived was super helpful & did their best. They did a great job, it was still challenging to not question the cleanliness of everything in the condo during our stay. Another issue we faced was that the VRBO listing stated that the pool was renovated as of 3/2024. However, the pool was still under construction and not available for use (we stayed in 5/2024). Had everything we needed. Owner was in top of AC issue when we arrived. Previous occupants froze the AC unit, the owner called me to let me know he was working on it. I thought that was amazing customer service. Kids enjoyed the pool and we used the bbq pit.

First off I want to say that the Sunglow Resort itself is wonderful; very clean and well maintained. The pool was fantastic and the staff were great as well. I will also say that the view was gorgeous, both from the back deck and the front of the unit.That being said this particular unit (902) needs repairs and upgrades. The sleeper sofa was broken and not usable; the handle on the refrigerator was almost falling off; there was damage to the walls and baseboards; major rust on the cold air intake; the unit was not cleaned very wall- kitchen floors were dirty; garbage disposal smelled like something died in it; there was a bundle of extension cords behind the broken sofa sleeper that all connected to an outlet that was padlocked- doubt that was to code; the area rug shown in the photos was missing; there was only 1 kitchen stool- found the other one in a closet- broken; 3 lamps had missing light bulbs. The bathrooms and bedrooms were decent. The management company was quick to respond and they did refund the cleaning fee as well as a little extra. I just think whoever books this unit should know that it needs some TLC.

Link was fault advertising. There was no pool. This was our first beach vacation for this summer. I feel like the owner should have taken down the pool picture as for it under construction. I could’ve stay at a better place, our main reason was for my kids to enjoy the pool. The was stated “recently renovated” (false) you can tell the carpet was old the moment you stepped into the place, baseboard were not even installed. Bathroom shower door were loose (so don’t touch it, I didn’t find out until my son was try hold it). Overall, I think we overpaid for this place.

Dated older unit with many novelty items. Actual keys for the room. The PM abrupt, yet security and cleaning staff were very helpful. Great pool and spa area. Great views.

Great ocean view! Lots of towels and beach towels. It’s a 40 year old ocean front building and you can see the age in some places, but it didn’t take away from the experience. Everything is functional and very clean. There were even some chairs and beach things in the closet. Great surprise!

Property is clean.. If you want to be close to the ocean. This is the place. If you're looking for a comfy cozy stay..?? Beds are ok.. but there isn't a comfy place to sit in the place. Very dated wicker furniture..old sofa..but not the comfy relaxing type.Balcony is awesome..Beautiful view nice breeze..great just to listen to the waves.. Perfect. Kitchen really needs new pans but otherwise is good. Great communication with the owners. Very quick to respond.

Room was clean and comfortable. The only issues we had were the lack of towels, no washcloths, and no broom. The front desk notified housekeeping and she brought everything we needed plus a vacuum:)

Property is located right off the pier. Beautiful 9th floor views. Kitchen well stocked and plenty of seating with nice furniture. Upon entering the master bathroom I noticed a obvious used and dirty hand towel. The other towels were also dingy looking but the receptionist at the front desk replaced them immediately for me. Kitchen Counter tops were also sandy and dirty. The eating area place mats were also dirty. Floors felt sandy so I kept shoes on the entire stay. Overall, very nice. Better Attention to cleaning and this would be perfect.

This condo was basic. really not worth the money they charge. The cleaning lady wants a tip for services she doesn't do well. Dishes where dirty and still had food on them. The couch and chair are nasty. They smell of wet moldy cloths.

This place was good for what we needed for just a couple of nights after being at Disney. Might I suggest some upgrades on the bed pillows along with some room darkening curtains in the master bedroom. Even though this is on the driving part of the beach, it was still relatively quiet at the time we were there. We weren't elbow to elbow with folks nor was there an inordinate amount of driving traffic.
This place was good for what we needed for just a couple of nights after being at Disney. We had a blast!! The condo was perfect with the two bedrooms. One bedroom for me and my daughter with our own bathroom and the other one for my boyfriend and his son with their own bathroom. The sunrise was absolutely beautiful and easy access.

Really enjoyed our stay. Large balcony overlooking the beach. We saw dolphins every day. Pier with Crabby Joes close by which was good to grab a quick bite. Beds were comfortable.

Close to everything! On the beach, large balcony. Everything about this is great. One exception, the bed is very firm so sleeping wasnt the greatest, but wverything else about it was absolutely wonderful.

Plug-in in the master bath does not work. Toilet paper not stocked and had to go buy some. No pot holders for getting food out of oven. Other than that, everything was great!!!

The receptionist did not have any record of our name or reservation information. We had to show confirmation of our reservation and that we paid for the weekend. After several minutes of back and forth, we were finally given keys to access our rental. We had a funny feeling about everything but decided to go to our room anyway. Once we entered our room, we were greeted with the smell of trash, unmade beds, towels scattered all over the floor, sandy beach equipment everywhere, and old food in refrigerator. After contacting the front desk, it was revealed that a cleaning service was never hired to clean the space after former renters had left 3 days prior. To the receptionist’s credit, she was able to finally get the owner on the phone and promptly get a cleaning crew to do a quick session. The cleaning crew that arrived was super helpful & did their best. They did a great job, it was still challenging to not question the cleanliness of everything in the condo during our stay. Another issue we faced was that the VRBO listing stated that the pool was renovated as of 3/2024. However, the pool was still under construction and not available for use (we stayed in 5/2024). Much of the back of the building was blocked off by a chain-link fence. This was very disappointing. Everything was a lie.

Had everything we needed. Owner was in top of AC issue when we arrived. Previous occupants froze the AC unit, the owner called me to let me know he was working on it. I thought that was amazing customer service. Kids enjoyed the pool and we used the bbq pit.

Property is clean.. If you want to be close to the ocean. This is the place. If you're looking for a comfy cozy stay..?? Beds are ok.. but there isn't a comfy place to sit in the place. Very dated wicker furniture..old sofa..but not the comfy relaxing type.Balcony is awesome..Beautiful view nice breeze..great just to listen to the waves.. Perfect. Kitchen really needs new pans but otherwise is good. Great communication with the owners. Very quick to respond.

First off I want to say that the Sunglow Resort itself is wonderful; very clean and well maintained. The pool was fantastic and the staff were great as well. I will also say that the view was gorgeous, both from the back deck and the front of the unit.That being said this particular unit (902) needs repairs and upgrades. The sleeper sofa was broken and not usable; the handle on the refrigerator was almost falling off; there was damage to the walls and baseboards; major rust on the cold air intake; the unit was not cleaned very wall- kitchen floors were dirty; garbage disposal smelled like something died in it; there was a bundle of extension cords behind the broken sofa sleeper that all connected to an outlet that was padlocked- doubt that was to code; the area rug shown in the photos was missing; there was only 1 kitchen stool- found the other one in a closet- broken; 3 lamps had missing light bulbs. The bathrooms and bedrooms were decent. The management company was quick to respond and they did refund the cleaning fee as well as a little extra. I just think whoever books this unit should know that it needs some TLC.

Room was clean and comfortable. The only issues we had were the lack of towels, no washcloths, and no broom. The front desk notified housekeeping and she brought everything we needed plus a vacuum:)

Property is located right off the pier. Beautiful 9th floor views. Kitchen well stocked and plenty of seating with nice furniture. Upon entering the master bathroom I noticed a obvious used and dirty hand towel. The other towels were also dingy looking but the receptionist at the front desk replaced them immediately for me. Kitchen Counter tops were also sandy and dirty. The eating area place mats were also dirty. Floors felt sandy so I kept shoes on the entire stay. Overall, very nice. Better Attention to cleaning and this would be perfect.

This condo was basic. really not worth the money they charge. The cleaning lady wants a tip for services she doesn't do well. Dishes where dirty and still had food on them. The couch and chair are nasty. They smell of wet moldy cloths.

This place was good for what we needed for just a couple of nights after being at Disney. Might I suggest some upgrades on the bed pillows along with some room darkening curtains in the master bedroom. Even though this is on the driving part of the beach, it was still relatively quiet at the time we were there. We weren't elbow to elbow with folks nor was there an inordinate amount of driving traffic.

We had a blast!! The condo was perfect with the two bedrooms. One bedroom for me and my daughter with our own bathroom and the other one for my boyfriend and his son with their own bathroom. The sunrise was absolutely beautiful and easy access.

Close to everything! On the beach, large balcony. Everything about this is great. One exception, the bed is very firm so sleeping wasnt the greatest, but wverything else about it was absolutely wonderful.

Check in and check out were seemless. The room was very nice and suited us well. We were also on the 9th floor so the view was awesome and I enjoyed having coffee on the balcony in the mornings.

This property is probably about 50 years old or more, and although it’s decorated nicely everything from the showerhead to the showers,to the fact that the lights many of them would not come on, it was during the Olympics. We wanted to watch an event, but the TVs would not work and the information that they left was for a totally different service than what they had. Very hard to reach someone after hours. I’ve stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and I think this should be noted that it is an older place. Also, I think they should have an instruction sheet left inside the place that tells a few hints about the appliances, what to do if you can’t get the lights to come on etc. etc. and I think they should take out all the super bright lights in the kitchen and hallway because it would be much nicer if there was a little bit of muted lighting. The one thing that they certainly do have is that they are completely on the ocean right there. Looking out on the balcony and watching the ocean waves crash is really something beautiful.

Had two problems. The condo has a musky smell that greets you the moment you walk in and no one told us that construction would be going on during our stay limiting access to the balcony. This should have been told to us at the time of booking as the owner had to be notified about the work that was going to last 10-12 weeks.
