Cottage Cove · Lake Huron Beach Cottage No. 3

Spent the weekend in Oscoda which we are very familiar with. Had never stayed at Cottage Cove. It was great!! Lovely beach, met some great people and really enjoyed out little cottage! Plan to stay there again!

Brought back memories of both the cabin & beach we spent several summers at Huron Have. I'm Alibastor. Perfect weather & thoroughly enjoyed. However, we think providing your own linens & towels in 2025 is a really bad idea!

Clean, quiet, pet friendly. The beach is awesome in an area where alot of places have had to build breaker walls to stop erosion. Sand right up to the water!

We enjoyed ourselves….cabin was…ok… def bare minimum. It was nice that our little dog was accepted and everyone else seemed to have a dog also. The outside is well kept, beach is beautiful. Loved the firewood…. Do remember to bring fire starting materials. Having a grill and picnic table was great. The cleanliness of the cabin grossed us out a bit. Thank goodness the beds seemed clean. Carpet and furniture, not so much….Opened the windows, tracks were filthy, immediately shut those. It was rainy and cold one night and only had a one thin blanket, so put sweats on in the middle of the night. Fridge is rusty and something nasty looking on the front door (you can buy appliance paint), foil on stove old and used…. Can’t even replace that for each rental? 1/2 a roll of toilet paper, 1/3 roll of paper towel, sink in bathroom barely had water coming out…. Not sure why…. Shower was great. No plug for sink to wash dishes, curtains are too funny….. barely cover the window…. Really need two on each window, at night def don’t take your clothes off any where but the TINY bathroom cuz the windows aren’t fully covered. A LITTLE effort and a few dollars could make this place much nicer. TV worked great as well as Verizon phone coverage. Host readily available and very nice. In the end, it was ok…. I called it no frills! But the sunrise on the beach was beautiful!

The cabin and location were perfect for a short getaway for my husband and I asked our 2 drugs
