'Aunt Al's Place' Home on Canandaigua Lake w/ Deck

Excellent option for a smaller group looking for water access, few distractions, and a pleasant stay. The grill and kayaks were welcome additions to what appears in the listing and the fire pit got plenty of use during our week. Host Mike was very easy to contact and very responsive. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to other families looking for the quiet lake experience.

Challenging to find, couldn’t easily find a house number, clean tidy camp. Great experience working with owner, super timely and effective communication. The upstairs is one large open room with multiple beds, challenging for multiple adult guests, lacking privacy. Kitchen was well appointed, nice stairs down to the lake, beautiful view

Very good value, very clean. The little deck on the lake is great. A little tough to find, I suggest arriving in day light.

I can’t say enough good things about Aunt Al’s place! First, the owner was so kind and text to make sure we had everything we needed. It truly felt like home away from home, it has everything you need, most places have you bring your own linens and towels which is just more to pick but that was all there for us. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’d need to cook all meals! (Not food, just cookware dishes silverware etc). Also a washer and dryer on-site so you don’t have to go home with dirty clothes! It was clean and cozy! They have a fire pit and kayaks and we fully enjoyed those! The lake was beautiful and right at the bottom of the house. We fed the ducks every morning. It was just all together a wonderful time away and we appreciate the hospitality! We will be back for sure!

Great place for a couple of family with small children. The cottage has everything we needed. We really enjoyed having coffee in the deck by the lake, walking on South Lake Road, and kayaking. It’s a great place to unwind and get away from the craziness of every day life.
