Communication with host was clear and timely as well as easy check in, parking and departure. The property photos are exactly what you get and the cabin is charming, modern, and clean. We would recommend it to our friends and family and will stay again when in Ely.

Just like the title, a perfect basecamp. Stayed there at night, walked to local restaurants and bars at night for food and entertainment. During the day trailered the boat to one of the many fantastic nearby fishing lakes (Burntside, Little Long, White Iron, Bear Head). When done fishing, parked the boat in their parking lot...rinse and repeat. Yes, staying on a lake would be nice, but here you get your choice of lakes, lots of evening options, and at a cheaper price. In short, definitely worth a stay.

This is a rather unique situation. There are four or five separate cabins in the middle of Ely on a street corner on the main road through town. The cabins are on the east end of town, but very walkable to the main part of Ely with restaurants and shops. Parking is directly in front of the cabin. One less than great aspects is that the cabin is very close to the road so road-noise is higher than many places. It did not disturb our sleep, but it could be a problem if you are bothered by road noise. The road does quiet down later in the evening.The knotty pine interior was nicely done. We felt we had plenty of space though there were only two of us in a cabin that could accommodate up to two more. The pictures provided on Vrbo well represent the cabin.There was a small refrigerator we used, but we did not use the microwave or television provided.We had one request while we were there. The property manager was very responsive and took care of the matter.Overall, we were pleased and would stay again.

A great spot to stay close to everything in Ely. Nice area to walk around with many food choices and friendly people in the neighbourhood. Accommodations were well equipped, clean and comfortable. Owners and staff were responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable beds, great wifi and right in town. Close to the main street so car and truck noise can occasionally be heard, but it did not keep me awake. Note, that as advertised, there is a microwave, kettle and small coffee maker (filters and coffee provided), but little shelf space. There are only mugs, no cutlery or bowls, so come prepared if planning to eat breakfast or other small meals.

The cabin was perfect. Very clean and cozy. Kelly the host was prompt with her replys and everything was great. The location was also great. Close to everything we wanted or needed. I highly recommend this place.

It was very clean and cozy. They even have a fan in case you need one! It was a very warm day when we arrived and they already had the air on and the cabin was nice and cool.

The accomodations were very nice, clean and adequate for the one night stay we wanted. It was a bit smaller than what I envisioned as there was no "living room" area. The bathroom was very nice, but small. But I rather "very nice" over anything else. The towels were so soft!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Convenient to everything. Ely was enjoyable and had many I interesting things to do and places to eat. Kelly was a joy to work with.Hope to return for the winter season.

The pictures provided on Vrbo well represent the cabin.There was a small refrigerator we used, but we did not use the microwave or television provided.We had one request while we were there. The property manager was very responsive and took care of the matter.Overall, we were pleased and would stay again.
This is a rather unique situation. There are four or five separate cabins in the middle of Ely on a street corner on the main road through town. The cabins are on the east end of town, but very walkable to the main part of Ely with restaurants and shops. Parking is directly in front of the cabin. One less than great aspects is that the cabin is very close to the road so road-noise is higher than many places. It did not disturb our sleep, but it could be a problem if you are bothered by road noise. The road does quiet down later in the evening.The knotty pine interior was nicely done. We felt we had plenty of space though there were only two of us in a cabin that could accommodate up to two more. As advertised, CLEAN! Comfortable, & check In/Out was a breeze!! Host/property manager responsive; nIce touch with provided toiletries, excellent location BWCA springboard. Location is on main (busy!) road, but traffic quiets down early ..... don't let that dissuade you!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Convenient to everything. Ely was enjoyable and had many I interesting things to do and places to eat. Kelly was a joy to work with.Hope to return for the winter season.

Very comfortable beds, great wifi and right in town. Close to the main street so car and truck noise can occasionally be heard, but it did not keep me awake. Note, that as advertised, there is a microwave, kettle and small coffee maker (filters and coffee provided), but little shelf space. There are only mugs, no cutlery or bowls, so come prepared if planning to eat breakfast or other small meals.

The cabin was perfect. Very clean and cozy. Kelly the host was prompt with her replys and everything was great. The location was also great. Close to everything we wanted or needed. I highly recommend this place.

We rented two separate units for a family overnight. Properties were well maintained both inside and out and had everything you would need and might expect. Location was convenient. One of the beds was very squishy but other than that, I would definitely stay here again.

The property was great, very clean and convenient. The problem was communication. I could not open messages from the property andExpedia did not have me as having rented on my account. I had to spend an hour with VBRO chat to get the information I needed to sign in.
