Pool, HOT TUB and Huge Game Room

Unfortunately, this is probably my first negative review I’ve ever left on VRBO. We had several issues with the home once we arrived, including horrible mosquitoes, tons of wasp- hornet nests, and inconsistent airflow to make the top ones. My husband had to buy two things of mosquito spray to hook to a water hose because we couldn’t even set foot in the backyard without getting bitten. The water hose was not usable either so we had to purchase one of those as well. He also killed over eight wasp hornet nests on the outside porch area. After reaching out to the homeowners to seek reimbursement for these items we bought (just to deal with outside), they never responded. Also, we had to spend over 40 on pillows for our family (of 7) to use because the pillows provided were hard as a rock. The air never seemed to reach the back bedrooms, so it was extremely hot while we were there at the end of June, first of July. To be honest, besides the location working out well since we had our volleyball tournament at the convention center downtown, I would not recommend staying in this house.

We had a great stay for SMU graduation ceremonies. The property was only 7-8 miles from campus (20 min drive). All of the amenities were as described. We loved the pool, the hot tub and the games inside. There were plenty of sleeping options with the 4 bedrooms. The host has a nice coffee bar set up with lots of Keurig choices. The kitchen is well stocked as well. The neighborhood is very quiet, hence the warnings about the quiet hours. It was not an issue for our group. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was all right overall, but there were some drawbacks. The inside was clean and was well-stocked. We enjoyed the gameroom and the hot tub. The owners had a bottle of wine and a couple of snacks, which was a nice treat. The exterior of the house could use some attention. The yard was overgrown and full of weeds, including in the rocks near the pool, which made it feel a bit unkept. In addition, the backyard gate remained unlocked for the duration of our stay despite asking the owners to lock it (they did not want us to do it ourselves).If you are looking for a functional place to stay, this will do. However, if you are looking for upscale, you may want to keep looking.

We arrived to the house and it was very cold in the house whatever we did didnt work had to sleep on the coach in the dining room since it was the least cold

We had a group of 9 people with plenty of space and places to sleep. The amenities were more than enough to sit back and relax without even leaving the house! It is even in close proximity to go out without long travel times. The game room made great time and memories, along with the hot tub and outdoor fireplace. Highly recommend for those trying to stay in the Dallas area.
