Private cabin - great place to unplug, unwind and recharge for just 2 or the family including your pet, 5G WiFi and thoughtful amenities inside and out. Game room part of the open great room is a great place to make family memories indoor while the fire pit with grill is that place in the backyard. BBQ grill on deck is washed in sunlight for morning coffee and cinnamon buns from a The Mad Baker. 10 min drive to hike the falls in Ricketts Glen. Dinner grilling makes for wonderful dinning alfresco followed by s’mores around the fire pit later. The water cooler was a nice addition. So easy to communicate with the owner making check in (with a door code) and check out move smoothly. Sheets and towels included - made packing a lot easier!

The property was beautiful and very well maintained. It’s location away from the main road made it the ideal location for a relaxing and peaceful getaway. The selection and condition of the board games exceeded our expectations and provided hours of entertainment. Other than the out of order washing machine, everything else was in perfect working order, including the Wi-Fi which came in handy on rainy nights. The check in process was simple and the host responded quickly to all inquiries. One morning we were visited by two deer while we were enjoying our coffee on the spacious deck. We were also greeted by wild turkeys on the drive in and saw several deer. The wildlife added to the peaceful surroundings. Overall, we had a wonderful time and highly recommend staying here!

This place was amazing. Even better than the reviews and listing. There was so much space, it was clean, there were games and activities, the fire pit was perfect. Grill worked great, quiet and peaceful. My dogs loved it.

Rickett's Hidden Treasure was just that, a hidden treasure. My 18-year-old son and I (and our chihuahua, Alvin) enjoyed two nights in this secluded, clean, and well-stocked cabin. My son said it was one of his all-time favorite trips. We used all the amenities—the fire pit, the outside shower, the game room, the back deck. Check-in was super easy, and checkout was a breeze as well. The cabin is in a secluded but convenient spot—a short and scenic drive from Lake Jean and all the trails in the park. We will definitely book this cabin again. Highly recommended.

This VRBO is very clean, easy to speak w/ owner and cozy, yet plenty of room ! It's a fun set up with a gas fireplace and ' game room'! The entry dirt road is fun to watch for animals.. Highly recommend for R & R, hiking/ exploring at Rickett's Glen or World's End state parks.

My family and I decided to getaway for the weekend. Obviously, the dead of winter is most likely not the best time to go to Ricketts Glen, but it certainly fulfilled our needs. The cabin had everything we needed and things that were up our alley, like a dated TV and DVD player (oldie but a goodie), foosball table was clutch, and the fireplace was essential. Will look to be back for warmer weather—cheers!

We had a wonderful time in this cabin. Our 10yo son and our pup absolutely loved the yard, wildlife, firepit and game room. We loved the coziness of the cabin and the memories we made. This cabin fit our family perfectly with room to spare. It had everything we needed to feel comfortable, entertained and safe. We can't wait to return.

We were so pleasantly surprised at how secluded this property was! It was very clean and had everything we needed! It was such a relief not to lug towels, bed sheets and all with us. The convenience of a washer and dryer were amazing too. My husband and I both said we'd never slept better. Would absolutely stay here again!!

The cabin was perfect for us. Location great to enjoy Ricketts Glen State Park. Property Manager answered all questions and were so helpful throughout our stay. We really enjoyed the large chalkboard playing Pictionary. I would recommend this place to everyone who is interested.

We have been enjoying Kelby and Markie’s cabins for several years, this is our favorite place! They are wonderful hosts, you can see how much they care about their guests by how well maintained and how clean their cabin is kept. He is quick to respond if there should be any questions or problems you may encounter.The cabin is clean and fully stocked with the things you need for your stay; bedding, towels, games, grill, and kitchen equipment, everything is provided for you, except food.The town of Dushore is a few miles down the road, it also has everything; small diners, grocery store, gas and a few shops. Cute little town.Also near by are Ricketts Glenn and Worlds End State Parks for hiking, kayaking and swimming.To wind down in the evening, there is a nice fire pit, to sit, relax and stare into the amazing star filled night sky! We enjoyed our time at this remote cabin. Snow fell and made the mountain surroundings even more beautiful. It was clean and comfortable. We loved watching movies by the fireplace as well as the location to Rickets Glen. Messages were responded to quickly by the property manager. We would stay here again for sure!

We have stayed here several times over the years while Kelby has owned this cabin. It’s the perfect cabin, it has everything you need. The cabin is always neat and clean. Kelby is always the gracious and most accommodating host ! We love the location, it’s secluded and remote enough not to hear Rt 487 trucks but close enough to Ricketts Glen, Worlds End and the little town of Dushore. This is our place to relax, unwind and get away from our busy hectic lifestyle.

Was really pleased with everything about this booking. Hosts were excellent from initial communication about bringing my dogs and quick to answer any and all concerns before and during our stay. The cabin sits a little over a mile down a dirt road which was perfect for us..the further in the mountains the better! We were surprised to find how well equipped it was, with almost anything you could need during your stay, with an extra bonus of 5g wifi. It was a stone's throw from Ricketts Glen and within easy driving reach of World's End and Loyalsock. Had a few meals in the quaint town of Dushore and explored many of the local areas. We will definitely return in the fall for lots of hiking adventures with the pups!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for an extended weekend. The location was way of the beaten path which we loved! Nice and quiet and secluded. Unfortunately the queen bed mattress was pretty crappy like a worn out old hotel mattress. I’d recommend a new mattress or at least a topper to address this issue. When we go stay somewhere we enjoy having a nice place to sleep on our down time and he ended up sleeping on the futon instead. We also were concerned with the water; it had a very strong metal smell and at times even like rotten eggs (sulfur?). Luckily they had provided a large water machine for drinking/cooking but even having to shower or brush your teeth in the regular tap water was a bit concerning. I don’t know what can be done about that besides a heavy duty filtration system but maybe a warning in the listing for now so people are prepared. Overall the stay was bearable but I would not stay there again unless I knew those things were addressed and fixed.

The house was better than we expected. I thought it was a house just off the road but wasn't expecting it to be 1.4 miles into the woods. But that was the BEST part for us as a family. We love the woods and the adventures of the back country roads vs. normal roads. Now for the house, it was very comfortable and welcoming. Had everything we needed besides food. We enjoyed the back deck every morning for coffee just listening to nature. Nice family cookouts for dinner and campfires in the evenings. I have highly recommended this house to my other family members and some friend's. I know that we will definitely be back next year but hopefully longer than 2 night stay.

This was a great house for our outdoor adventure. Well stocked, clean and in a secluded area. We we're greeted nightly by 2 deer! House had a cabin feel which was perfect- my real camping days are over so this was a great compromise for our outdoorsman son.This is a desolate area so pack food & supplies to avoid driving.Had to leave 4 stars because mattresses are overdue to be replaced.

We had a wonderful weekend! The cabin is fully equipped with anything we needed, clean, and very cozy. It sits on a quiet road with no direct neighbors. We had 4 adults and one dog during our stay and we weee all very comfortable. The house a a cozy and warm gas fireplace for chilly night and the deck is sits in a beautiful back yard full of trees. There is a great fire pit area and we all enjoyed a bonfire on one of the nights during our stay. The cabin is about 7 miles from Ricketts Glenn state park where we did the amazing 21 waterfall hike! The host was very responsive, gave good directions and recommendations. The cabin is just as described (even cuter and cozier.) Highly recommend this cabin and Ricketts Glen State Park.

The host was very responsive, gave good directions and recommendations. The cabin is just as described (even cuter and cozier.) Highly recommend this cabin and Ricketts Glen State Park.

We had a great time at this cabin. It was a cold winter weekend and we stayed toasty warm inside by the fire. We enjoyed playing some of the many games that are available. Great place to stay with kids, plenty to do right inside the cabin. Hope to stay again in the future!

My family and I decided to getaway for the weekend. Obviously, the dead of winter is most likely not the best time to go to Ricketts Glen, but it certainly fulfilled our needs. The cabin had everything we needed and things that were up our alley, like a dated TV and DVD player (oldie but a goodie), foosball table was clutch, and the fireplace was essential. Will look to be back for warmer weather—cheers!

This cabin was perfect for me, my spouse, and our two young daughters. It's well stocked, including a surprising number of kids books and games, and it's close to lovely outdoor areas. We used the deck, and it's a really nice size.

Private cabin - great place to unplug, unwind and recharge for just 2 or the family including your pet, 5G WiFi and thoughtful amenities inside and out. Game room part of the open great room is a great place to make family memories indoor while the fire pit with grill is that place in the backyard. BBQ grill on deck is washed in sunlight for morning coffee and cinnamon buns from a The Mad Baker. 10 min drive to hike the falls in Ricketts Glen. Dinner grilling makes for wonderful dinning alfresco followed by s’mores around the fire pit later. The water cooler was a nice addition. So easy to communicate with the owner making check in (with a door code) and check out move smoothly. Sheets and towels included - made packing a lot easier!

Was really pleased with everything about this booking. Hosts were excellent from initial communication about bringing my dogs and quick to answer any and all concerns before and during our stay. The cabin sits a little over a mile down a dirt road which was perfect for us..the further in the mountains the better! We were surprised to find how well equipped it was, with almost anything you could need during your stay, with an extra bonus of 5g wifi. It was a stone's throw from Ricketts Glen and within easy driving reach of World's End and Loyalsock. Had a few meals in the quaint town of Dushore and explored many of the local areas. We will definitely return in the fall for lots of hiking adventures with the pups!

We have been enjoying Kelby and Markie’s cabins for several years, this is our favorite place! They are wonderful hosts, you can see how much they care about their guests by how well maintained and how clean their cabin is kept. He is quick to respond if there should be any questions or problems you may encounter.The cabin is clean and fully stocked with the things you need for your stay; bedding, towels, games, grill, and kitchen equipment, everything is provided for you, except food.The town of Dushore is a few miles down the road, it also has everything; small diners, grocery store, gas and a few shops. Cute little town.Also near by are Ricketts Glenn and Worlds End State Parks for hiking, kayaking and swimming.To wind down in the evening, there is a nice fire pit, to sit, relax and stare into the amazing star filled night sky! We enjoyed our stay at the cabin very much. Kelby was an excellent host who communicated quickly when I reached out with any questions. The description of the cabin is accurate on the listing. We really enjoyed the location- remote, yet easy to access various state parks. We appreciated that the cabin is pet friendly and even had an outdoor water bowl for our dog. The cabin was clean and is just right for a getaway. The game area was great! Our kids, 9 and 12, were very entertained. As a family we enjoyed foosball games as well as the board games that were in the cabin. Thanks for a great stay!

Rickett's Hidden Treasure was just that, a hidden treasure. My 18-year-old son and I (and our chihuahua, Alvin) enjoyed two nights in this secluded, clean, and well-stocked cabin. My son said it was one of his all-time favorite trips. We used all the amenities—the fire pit, the outside shower, the game room, the back deck. Check-in was super easy, and checkout was a breeze as well. The cabin is in a secluded but convenient spot—a short and scenic drive from Lake Jean and all the trails in the park. We will definitely book this cabin again. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our time at this remote cabin. Snow fell and made the mountain surroundings even more beautiful. It was clean and comfortable. We loved watching movies by the fireplace as well as the location to Rickets Glen. Messages were responded to quickly by the property manager. We would stay here again for sure!

We have stayed here several times over the years while Kelby has owned this cabin. It’s the perfect cabin, it has everything you need. The cabin is always neat and clean. Kelby is always the gracious and most accommodating host ! We love the location, it’s secluded and remote enough not to hear Rt 487 trucks but close enough to Ricketts Glen, Worlds End and the little town of Dushore. This is our place to relax, unwind and get away from our busy hectic lifestyle.

Communication with owner was very helpful. With everything we needed. Along with a binder with everything that’s local for a quick reference. Very nicely secluded for a quiet relaxing getaway. The cabin is equipped with all the comforts needed. I’d definitely recommend this friends and family an have already done so. An will hopefully book again soon.

The house was better than we expected. I thought it was a house just off the road but wasn't expecting it to be 1.4 miles into the woods. But that was the BEST part for us as a family. We love the woods and the adventures of the back country roads vs. normal roads. Now for the house, it was very comfortable and welcoming. Had everything we needed besides food. We enjoyed the back deck every morning for coffee just listening to nature. Nice family cookouts for dinner and campfires in the evenings. I have highly recommended this house to my other family members and some friend's. I know that we will definitely be back next year but hopefully longer than 2 night stay.

This was a great house for our outdoor adventure. Well stocked, clean and in a secluded area. We we're greeted nightly by 2 deer! House had a cabin feel which was perfect- my real camping days are over so this was a great compromise for our outdoorsman son.This is a desolate area so pack food & supplies to avoid driving.Had to leave 4 stars because mattresses are overdue to be replaced.

This place was amazing. Even better than the reviews and listing. There was so much space, it was clean, there were games and activities, the fire pit was perfect. Grill worked great, quiet and peaceful. My dogs loved it.

Rickett's Hidden Treasure was just that, a hidden treasure. My 18-year-old son and I (and our chihuahua, Alvin) enjoyed two nights in this secluded, clean, and well-stocked cabin. My son said it was one of his all-time favorite trips. We used all the amenities—the fire pit, the outside shower, the game room, the back deck. Check-in was super easy, and checkout was a breeze as well. The cabin is in a secluded but convenient spot—a short and scenic drive from Lake Jean and all the trails in the park. We will definitely book this cabin again. Highly recommended.

This place is amazing, it is all the way in the woods which i loved, the house was perfect very clean, the landlord was very nice n easy to get a hold of, close to Rickette Glenn and the lopez winery ( which u gotta go to) just disappointed i didnt see a bear 😞 but othet then that beautiful place...

Working with Kelby is easy, he's pleasant, courteous and quick to respond to your questions. The cabin is neat and clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped! All you need to bring with you, is food and your "personables". Even though we are returning visitors, we tend to bring too much stuff! Our dog, Sophie loves lazy days where she can hang out on the patio all afternoon with us. Ricketts Glen and Worlds End State parks are nearby for all your outdoor enjoyment. This trip we discovered Grovedale Winery in Wyalusing. On clear nights the stars are amazing and some nights you can see the Milky Way! This is our favorite returning vacation spot when we need to disconnect and get away from a busy hectic lifestyle and reconnect with each other. See you next year, Joe and Chrissy

If you are with the family or friend group, it's a great spot. Just be mindful about the bathroom since it's only one to share with the group. Host is amazing.

A peaceful cabin in the woods, the perfect place to return and relax after a long day of hiking at Ricketts Glen falls trail. The cabin is clean, comfortable and includes fun games for a family. Our dog loved the open yard to run around and to sit by the fire pit while we made s’mores. Everyone had a wonderful time! Will recommend to family and friends.
