View of Atalaya

The apartment itself is fantastic. 50 minutes from the airport, air conditioning in all rooms, modern and clean. Small shops 5 minutes away, and beach and pine walk with extensive bars and restaurants along the beach. Lidl one bus stop away too for those wishing to eat in/self cater rather than eat out. We had a wonderful 10 days at the apartment, however there were issues with the pool. It was dirty throughout our stay and an English speaking resident advised she had reported this to the ‘president’ numerous times. There were many missing floor tiles laid around the outside of the pool. Unfortunately my son cut his foot quite severely on the 10th day of our two week break. In fairness to the host ‘Alex’ he responded immediately and also reported this to the ‘president’ however the pool was not cleaned or repaired in the 4 days we had remaining. The English speaking resident informed me that a child has also cut their foot last year. This meant we were unable to use the pool (my children wouldn’t entertain it after my sons cut. The injury also meant we had to cancel dinner reservations and eat in for the remainder of our holiday, which was a shame and did cast a bit of a shadow. I cant fault the property or the host at all, Alex was helpful leading up to our stay and whilst we were there. It was just unfortunate that my son was injured towards the end of our stay, I would have definitely said we would return if it wasn’t for the issues with the pool.

Fab family holiday, ideal location and apartments were well equipped. Ground floor ideal for young children. Only flaw was we could have done will bed and towel change during the 2 week stay. Had to wash ourselves. Would defo stay again.

Excellent apartment that lived up to expectations. Communication from Alex the host was great.

Needs some updating,no information about nearest doctors.No information about taxis and buses to get around.Outside area could do with a bit of tlc.Bathroom floor needs replacing.Washing machine rusting and fridge dented but worked okay. Some good bars and restaurants nearby,short walk down to beach.Could do with a curtain or blind for entry door as it is the first apartment from gate and in the evening it’s like being in a goldfish bowl.
