Beautiful cottage and great location, so close to Tobermory. 4 large bedrooms, main floor open space with kitchen, dining and living room. Boats and bikes (tires need repair) were great to have. Shame, Lake Huron water levels are so low.

The view was stunning - like the prettiest place I had ever stayed. We throughly enjoyed the kayaks and canoe and watching the sandhill cranes. The hot tub was great for late night soaks after hiking. The kitchen was well stocked.

The cottage and property were fantastic and made our much needed vacation very, very special. We would recommend the Sunset Lakehouse to anyone. It is perfect for couples and families. Lots of room, clean, great amenities, lots of wildlife. Beautiful views. The hot tub is fantastic. What you see in the listing is what you get (and even more was provided by the owners than what was expected). We hope we can return again.

A nice location with lots of space for a family and a unique location with incredible evening sunset views. Located on a marsh teaming with wildlife and a little further beyond the marsh is the lake shallow enough for children to play in although I recommend water shoes due to rocky escarpment. We were visited by Blue Herons, wild turkeys, chipmunks, ducks, frogs and turtles and enjoyed paddle boarding in the lake, reading on the rocks, evening campfires, watching shooting stars and the quiet secluded location away from the Tobermory summer crowds. Would definitely return.
