The place had plumbing issues. It worked fine for the weekend but don’t think I would stay again. Pictures make it seem a lot nicer inside than it actually is.

This was a lovely house with cute rustic decor. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond to my messages.

Liked the cabin and the area wasn’t expecting the rough roads to get to the house. The house was clean except for the dirty sock on the couch when we walked in. During winter definitely would need 4x4 and chains to get to the house from the main road. Was a little disappointed that the post says sleeps up to 10 but didn’t say that meant two people sleeping on the same couch. There are 4 twins 2 fulls and the couch. We had ten people but luckily there were 6 kids so we made it work. The fire pit was nice the picnic table needs to go due to how rotted it is , and There was broken pieces glass from bottles around the fire pit from previous guest that we picked up. Would not recommend kids under four due to the rougher terrain. Will rent this again but more for a retreat for me and the wife next time. Overall had a good experience here and would recommend to people with older kids.

We booked this cabin expecting a rustic getaway — what we got was an unsafe, unsanitary, and unlivable situation that forced us to relocate our entire family mid-vacation. The water was completely unusable, with a strong odor of rust and mold — not suitable for drinking, cooking, cleaning, or even brushing teeth. We had to purchase $60 worth of bottled water just to function. The cabin reeked of mold throughout. Despite a dehumidifier running 24/7 (which filled every 4 hours), the humidity never dropped below 55%. The presence of mold was visible on baseboards and around floor joints, and you could smell it in every room. The structure itself is dangerous. The kitchen floor visibly flexes 2–3 inches when stepped on, indicating broken trusses or foundation issues. One shelf or end table (still unclear) fell near our child while he was sleeping, which was the final straw. The beds were unstable, creaking and swaying with every movement, and the upstairs floor was sloped so badly we literally rolled off the mattress while sleeping. When we raised our concerns, the host initially offered another property. But after seeing how unsafe and unsanitary this cabin was, we didn’t trust their other listings and booked a different place on our own dime. To make matters worse, the host has insisted on partial refund only, despite us checking out early and submitting photos, videos, and documentation of the issues.
