The beds were comfy and everything was nice and clean! The beach access was easy and amazing! Dropped 1 star due to items needing repairs such as the non working dishwasher ant the broken shower door. The kitchen had everything needed to cook up a decent meal along with a coffee pot, microwave, ant toaster.

Overall was very clean and cozy! Loved the amenities for the dog! A bit smaller then the pics made me believe but wasn't unpleasant. Hot tub jets don't work but still stayed heated and one of the toilets was broken but they tried to help us troubleshoot and then gave the option to send someone out. Otherwise was perfect for a short getaway weekend. Wish checkout was later in the morning but honestly it was because we just wanted more time there 😂

Enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean and the hot tub was divine. Only criticism is that despite signs asking tenants to clean up after their pets, there were 12 piles of dog poo in the backyard when we arrived. We cleaned tgem up ourselves.

Dishwasher was broken and they didn’t bother to tell me ahead of time. Description said that they had a coffee grinder so I brought beans. They had grinder, but it didn’t work! I texted Vacasa and they NEVER responded. There was nothing in the house with information about who to contact or how to do it. The house smells like pet dander. The floors are like funhouse floors. Not level. Hot tub is out in the elements and not really useful when it rains. Might be semi-ok in the summer but not in the winter.

As others have pointed out, this place could use a deep clean, but is clean enough. Another person posted in September that the dishwasher wasn't working... and 3 months later there is still a sign. Hot tub is a nice extra, but we found that there were no chlorine tabs in the floating dispencer, so we weren't really comfortable using it. A good enough place, but not as clean as we would like to feel truly comfortable.

House was fairly comfortable and yard was great for our dog while we visited. Rooms were quite small. We couldn’t figure out how to get the hot tub jets to fully function.

The location of this house is great. There is beach access at the end of the road which is a very short walk. The actual house had some pros and cons. Pros: location, yard, fire pit, all TVs had a streaming stick, good fridge, dishwasher, etc, house was mostly clean, fresh bedding and towels, fresh sponge and soap by sink, hose by front door to rinse off before going in, beautiful flowers and decor Cons: the mold/mildew smell was very strong and affected our allergies, sign by the door stating no shoes, no pets allowed on the furniture, no pets could be left unattended (even for a minute) so even though we brought crates for our dogs we did not feel comfortable going out to dinner, the door lock kept malfunctioning, fridge was not cleaned with someone’s half eaten leftovers inside, huge holes in fence blocked off by random items like chairs, carpets were dirty, half of burners on BBQ grill didn’t work, jets on hot tub didn’t work

Place was just fine.. We would rent again. Reported to VRBO already by phone. Just a few things. Not correct cables to play DVDS from payer. Outside BBQ needs replaced, Sm. water leak from frig? Jets on spa not working.

Nice place in nice location. It could have been a little cleaner and somebody left a bunch of dog poo and bones in the yard. I would stay in the house again though.

This was our home base for a long weekend and while it did the job for homing our family of four, there were unfortunately several things that would prevent us from staying here again. There was a very strong musty/pet odor when we arrived. There was some garbage under the coffee table and there were areas that hadn’t been dusted in awhile. The outside area was not very groomed. The grass was overgrown, there was dog poop left from the last tenants and the seating area was very dirty with lots of cobwebs. Several of the doors were hard to open/close. The location was okay but a very tight area for accessibility and there was construction going on next door that we were unaware of and the vehicles parked on the street made it more difficult to access the driveway. Overall there is a lot that needs to be done to make this a more desirable place to stay. We use VRBO for all of our lodging and this unfortunately was a disappointment.

PROS: Clean home, lovely backyard with a hot tub, quiet neighborhood, very close and easy access to the beach, walkable to the town. CONS: The home smells like a hotel room that allows smoking and, as another guest stated, the floors are very uneven, like a fun house at the fair. For the price, this home has definitely earned 5 stars. The few cons don’t drag down the pros. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The home is small, old and in some need of updates. There was food splatter on the Kitchen cabinets and dust throughout. Most of the doors are an adventure to open but at least there are signs to caution you. I planned on cooking to save money but thought better of it when I saw the pots and pans. They were in desperate need of replacement, down to bare metal with food stuck to them. The heaters are old wall units that smell bad when in use. We found a push pin on the carpet in one of the bedrooms. Fortunately nobody stepped on it. The blinds are broken with missing pieces in another room which faces the street so they're isn't much privacy. Be careful when the front porch is wet as it will be slick. I learned the hard way. Hopefully the owners of the home put some money back into the place. I don't understand how this home has so many positive reviews on VRBO and Vacasa who manages the property.

We loved the lay out of the home. It’s equipped with all of the necessary amenities. It does however needs a little TLC. A little more information for the TV and electronic controllers would have been helpful. The on and off switch for the living room lamp lays on the floor. We had to reached down under the couch/coffee table to find it and in doing so has to feel around in dirt and dust bunnies. Also visible were cobwebs and dirt under the kitchen cabinets as well. The bathroom sink drains were slow to drain but for the most part all else was fine. Love the decor.

This home had everything we needed for a wonderful beach vacation. It's very clean and well cared for! Our dog loved the back yard, and we loved the hot tub for chilly early mornings. Short walk to the beach too which is really a must for a trip to the coast! Highly recommend!

This place is an absolute gem. A perfect couples getaway. Sure there was some dust but what do you expect for a beach house? Overall it was super clean and well maintained. It’s a short walk to a gorgeous beach and a quick trip to town for all your essentials. A great homebase for exploring the Oregon coast. We will return.

This house was mostly nice to stay in. The hot tub was great and the bed I slept on was comfortable. It was nice that there were two bathrooms. We had some issues with the kitchen sprayer and the front door lock though which decreased the quality of our stay.

We do NOT recommend this place at all. The biggest issue was that there was a snap-style rat trap out on the kitchen counter. Aside from the fact that there was evidence of rat remains in it, and the fact that this means there are actual rats in this house, the trap was out and set where my kids could have accidentally stuck their hands in and broken a hand. We tried calling management to ask at least how many traps there were so we could cover or disable all of them and rest a tad easier knowing that our kids and dogs wouldn't accidentally get snapped, but no one answered until the next day. Other issues: one of the big reasons we chose this house was the hot tub—it had a lock on it and was totally unusable, without any information being provided to us that this would be the case. Lastly, the bedrooms are so small, we couldn't even fit our dog's bed in there with us. Hot tub and bedroom size would have been inconveniences anyway, but the rat trap issue makes this our worst rental house experience by far. We finally called VRBO to get relocated.

The location of this house is great. There is beach access at the end of the road which is a very short walk. The actual house had some pros and cons. Pros: location, yard, fire pit, all TVs had a streaming stick, good fridge, dishwasher, etc, house was mostly clean, fresh bedding and towels, fresh sponge and soap by sink, hose by front door to rinse off before going in, beautiful flowers and decor Cons: the mold/mildew smell was very strong and affected our allergies, sign by the door stating no shoes, no pets allowed on the furniture, no pets could be left unattended (even for a minute) so even though we brought crates for our dogs we did not feel comfortable going out to dinner, the door lock kept malfunctioning, fridge was not cleaned with someone’s half eaten leftovers inside, huge holes in fence blocked off by random items like chairs, carpets were dirty, half of burners on BBQ grill didn’t work, jets on hot tub didn’t work

It was okay the house was remodeled and it was clean, and we enjoyed our stay even with a couple unexpected critters that hung out in the kitchen. After calling for help and getting immediate help the next morning. The critters came and i helped them out in a manly way. The front door lock was difficult to get it to open. I suggest that this be looked into prior to the next groups stay. Other wise it was a good location for crabbingv, touring, and fishing. Plus many local eateries too.

This house was mostly nice to stay in. The hot tub was great and the bed I slept on was comfortable. It was nice that there were two bathrooms. We had some issues with the kitchen sprayer and the front door lock though which decreased the quality of our stay.

We do NOT recommend this place at all. The biggest issue was that there was a snap-style rat trap out on the kitchen counter. Aside from the fact that there was evidence of rat remains in it, and the fact that this means there are actual rats in this house, the trap was out and set where my kids could have accidentally stuck their hands in and broken a hand. We tried calling management to ask at least how many traps there were so we could cover or disable all of them and rest a tad easier knowing that our kids and dogs wouldn't accidentally get snapped, but no one answered until the next day. Other issues: one of the big reasons we chose this house was the hot tub—it had a lock on it and was totally unusable, without any information being provided to us that this would be the case. Lastly, the bedrooms are so small, we couldn't even fit our dog's bed in there with us. Hot tub and bedroom size would have been inconveniences anyway, but the rat trap issue makes this our worst rental house experience by far. We finally called VRBO to get relocated.

Overall was very clean and cozy! Loved the amenities for the dog! A bit smaller then the pics made me believe but wasn't unpleasant. Hot tub jets don't work but still stayed heated and one of the toilets was broken but they tried to help us troubleshoot and then gave the option to send someone out. Otherwise was perfect for a short getaway weekend. Wish checkout was later in the morning but honestly it was because we just wanted more time there 😂

Dishwasher was broken and they didn’t bother to tell me ahead of time. Description said that they had a coffee grinder so I brought beans. They had grinder, but it didn’t work! I texted Vacasa and they NEVER responded. There was nothing in the house with information about who to contact or how to do it. The house smells like pet dander. The floors are like funhouse floors. Not level. Hot tub is out in the elements and not really useful when it rains. Might be semi-ok in the summer but not in the winter.

We loved the lay out of the home. It’s equipped with all of the necessary amenities. It does however needs a little TLC. A little more information for the TV and electronic controllers would have been helpful. The on and off switch for the living room lamp lays on the floor. We had to reached down under the couch/coffee table to find it and in doing so has to feel around in dirt and dust bunnies. Also visible were cobwebs and dirt under the kitchen cabinets as well. The bathroom sink drains were slow to drain but for the most part all else was fine. Love the decor.

Everything was wonderful. House was clean and had a nice layout. Loved the hot tub and fire pit. Very close to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Very relaxing. Dishwasher was not working but were notified of it prior to arriving with a promise of a partial refund which hasn't occurred yet. Would recommend this property and will come back again.

Place was just fine.. We would rent again. Reported to VRBO already by phone. Just a few things. Not correct cables to play DVDS from payer. Outside BBQ needs replaced, Sm. water leak from frig? Jets on spa not working.

This was our home base for a long weekend and while it did the job for homing our family of four, there were unfortunately several things that would prevent us from staying here again. There was a very strong musty/pet odor when we arrived. There was some garbage under the coffee table and there were areas that hadn’t been dusted in awhile. The outside area was not very groomed. The grass was overgrown, there was dog poop left from the last tenants and the seating area was very dirty with lots of cobwebs. Several of the doors were hard to open/close. The location was okay but a very tight area for accessibility and there was construction going on next door that we were unaware of and the vehicles parked on the street made it more difficult to access the driveway. Overall there is a lot that needs to be done to make this a more desirable place to stay. We use VRBO for all of our lodging and this unfortunately was a disappointment.

This home is a great home for us. There are 3 bedrooms but we only use 2. The other is an overflow for suitcases. It is so close to the beach and easy driving distance to bigger towns.

We love how cozy and quiet the Wallace Beach house is!! Great for our dog! She loves it too!! Very close to the beach!! We have a booking in the spring and can’t wait!!

This home had everything we needed for a wonderful beach vacation. It's very clean and well cared for! Our dog loved the back yard, and we loved the hot tub for chilly early mornings. Short walk to the beach too which is really a must for a trip to the coast! Highly recommend!

This place is an absolute gem. A perfect couples getaway. Sure there was some dust but what do you expect for a beach house? Overall it was super clean and well maintained. It’s a short walk to a gorgeous beach and a quick trip to town for all your essentials. A great homebase for exploring the Oregon coast. We will return.

Enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean and the hot tub was divine. Only criticism is that despite signs asking tenants to clean up after their pets, there were 12 piles of dog poo in the backyard when we arrived. We cleaned tgem up ourselves.
