Our second stay and just like the first, was perfect in every way! This perfect hideaway is nestled in Medicine Park within walking distance of all the amazing attractions. Karen and Shawn are always available to answer all our questions in a polite and respectful manner. We will definitely be booking again!

This adorable cabin was perfect for our stay. Our cousin comes to OK from AZ every year to spend time with us. The 3 of us loved the house. Our only negative is we wish there had been a gas grill, but even that wasn’t really an issue. Karen was quick to respond to communication prior to arrival but we didn’t need anything once we got there, it was all there in good working order. The AC was on, worked great. Beds & pillows were clean & comfy. The decor is super cute. There is plenty of outdoor seating & was fun watching the birds at feeders. The house is just across the creek bridge, easy walking to Medicine Park downtown shops & restaurants. We loved our stay!

The location couldn't be better. An easy walk across the bridge to Bath Lake and the restaurants in Medicine Park. The cabin was extremely clean and well stocked. The sheets and pillowcases were very clean, soft and didn't have that perfume smell of certain detergents. My 15 month old daughter was able to comfortably crawl and walk around. I couldn't be happier with how clean it was! There were no bugs at all inside the cabin. The A/C was nice and cool. The shower had great pressure and hot water. The owners were very responsive and kind when we had car trouble. I can't wait to go back, I have been telling everyone I know how wonderful our visit was! I think our favorite part was driving up to Mt Scott to see the sunset and it is such a close drive back to the cabin.

We came to OK for my son's graduation at Fort Sill from Army BCT and this little cabin did not disappoint. We're from the PNW and wanted something quiet, close to nature, and relaxing. Karen was super helpful and responsive, the cabin was clean and super fun, close to town, and well stocked. Beds are comfy, A/C was cold, kitchen well stocked, cozy decor with great local art, and had everything we needed for a wonderful visit with our soldier. Couldn't have picked a better place to spend quality time at. Thank you Karen for hosting such an important trip for our family. We would recommend to anyone and hope to come back again someday. Everything about this property was perfect! The host was so sweet and let us drop our bags early when we arrived earlier than expected and wanted to go hiking. She also made sure we had lawn chairs to listen to the live music. The house is in the perfect area just to walk right over the bridge and see all of medicine Park. The house was so cute, every detail.

We loved staying here. Comfortable, clean, interesting posters and decor. Good kitchen, great bathroom (plenty of hooks!). Great location. Loved sitting on the front porch, and exploring the town and river walk on floor from the house. Very close to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge and all it has to offer. Good communication with owner.

Clean and more clean. Little touches were personal and well thought out with the guest’s best interest in mind. Plenty of things you would find in your own home. We did not need a thing outside of what was provided. The cottage was decorated very cute. Outside seating and landscaping was very pleasant. I will definitely try to get this same cottage on our next say at Medicine Park.

Small little rustic cabin in Medicine Park worked out really well for my daughter’s family day and graduation from the army at Ft. Sill. Communicated with the owners right through the app no problem getting in and out. It’s very clean cute functional full kitchen. A/c worked great, TV had plenty of channels for streaming, wifi and nice updated bath. Walked downtown to Medicine Park businesses each night (live music bonus!) and during the day when we had our soldier for frozen custard at the creamery.

This cabin has modern amenities and is nicely decorated. The bed was so comfortable and after spending our days out on the town we looked forward to coming back to the cabin to relax. There are even games for the kids to play!We would love to come back if we are ever in the area again.

My kids (7&9) and I loved this cabin and the area. It was perfect for us and they have already asked to go back and stay there again. It was decorated with a nostalgic, slightly hippie, peaceful vibe with so many fun and thoughtful details. The cabin and property is meticulously clean and well maintained. This is a Medicine Park gem for a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Probably built in the 30s or 40s but kept up well and comfortable. Beds were nice, HVAC was good, couch and chair was comfortable. Walking distance to town and Mexican food. Streaming set up on TV. Its not a 5 star amazing place where kings stay, but it is comfortable and has all it needs with an old school charm. Owners are quick to respond to messages, BBQ outside was used daily. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Cozy cottage well appointed and located just across the river from restaurants in town, short walk across a pedestrian or 1- lane car bridge. Living room is comfortable and well lit which was refreshing. Not quite as scenic as you might expect from the script, either front or back (back patio not easily accessed) so if that's important to you be sure to do a google street view. Didn't bother us over a 5 night stay because it was too cool / wet to spend time on the porch and we were mainly interested in the wildlife refuge anyway - which is fantastic in early May, highly recommended. Cabin is great place to base such a stay. And owner Karen is super responsive.

We really loved our stay at the cute cabin in Medicine Park. Karen was a super host and replied promptly to all our questions or needs. The setting on the edge of the town was wonderful and close enough to allow us to walk into town. We especially enjoyed the quick 5-minute access to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. The covered parking was an additional bonus in case of severe weather. We would love to stay again on our next visit.

A friend and I stayed here last week-end and it was perfect! The check in process was seamless, the house was clean and we walked to everything in Medicine Park. Would most definitely stay here again. It was just perfect!!!!!

Karen always answered back within a short period of time when I messaged her and was always friendly! The cabin was clean, too cute, comfortable and just perfect. It was right a quarter-mile from the first place we went to eat after arriving that evening. This is important to me as I have mobility issues. I wasn't able to do much walking b/c of it, but I did walk down there the first evening and it was easy. The heat was the #1 reason I didn't the other times, but it is the end of June, so that was to be expected. If you want to see bison, elk, prairie dogs & longhorns, you're just down from the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge and you'll see plenty, which Karen told me she was sure I would...she didn't lie lol Great place, no crazy rules to the house and very cozy! Highly recommend!

We really needed a day away and this was an amazing experience doing just that. The host was very informative, welcoming and kind. Everything was easy from checking in to checking out. Will definitely be back sometime soon!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is nicely equipped and the owners were extremely attentive to our questions. We will be back again!! Thank you Karen and Steve for a great place to get away!!

The location couldn't be better. An easy walk across the bridge to Bath Lake and the restaurants in Medicine Park. The cabin was extremely clean and well stocked. The sheets and pillowcases were very clean, soft and didn't have that perfume smell of certain detergents. My 15 month old daughter was able to comfortably crawl and walk around. I couldn't be happier with how clean it was! There were no bugs at all inside the cabin. The A/C was nice and cool. The shower had great pressure and hot water. The owners were very responsive and kind when we had car trouble. I can't wait to go back, I have been telling everyone I know how wonderful our visit was! I think our favorite part was driving up to Mt Scott to see the sunset and it is such a close drive back to the cabin.

We came to OK for my son's graduation at Fort Sill from Army BCT and this little cabin did not disappoint. We're from the PNW and wanted something quiet, close to nature, and relaxing. Karen was super helpful and responsive, the cabin was clean and super fun, close to town, and well stocked. Beds are comfy, A/C was cold, kitchen well stocked, cozy decor with great local art, and had everything we needed for a wonderful visit with our soldier. Couldn't have picked a better place to spend quality time at. Thank you Karen for hosting such an important trip for our family. We would recommend to anyone and hope to come back again someday. Everything about this property was perfect! The host was so sweet and let us drop our bags early when we arrived earlier than expected and wanted to go hiking. She also made sure we had lawn chairs to listen to the live music. The house is in the perfect area just to walk right over the bridge and see all of medicine Park. The house was so cute, every detail.

We have stayed here twice now, and will stay here every time we are un town if possible. It is in the perfect location and a very short walk to all the shops and restaurants down town. It is always clean, cozy, and welcoming. The perfect home away from home.

We really loved our stay at the cute cabin in Medicine Park. Karen was a super host and replied promptly to all our questions or needs. The setting on the edge of the town was wonderful and close enough to allow us to walk into town. We especially enjoyed the quick 5-minute access to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. The covered parking was an additional bonus in case of severe weather. We would love to stay again on our next visit.

We loved staying here. Comfortable, clean, interesting posters and decor. Good kitchen, great bathroom (plenty of hooks!). Great location. Loved sitting on the front porch, and exploring the town and river walk on floor from the house. Very close to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge and all it has to offer. Good communication with owner.

Small little rustic cabin in Medicine Park worked out really well for my daughter’s family day and graduation from the army at Ft. Sill. Communicated with the owners right through the app no problem getting in and out. It’s very clean cute functional full kitchen. A/c worked great, TV had plenty of channels for streaming, wifi and nice updated bath. Walked downtown to Medicine Park businesses each night (live music bonus!) and during the day when we had our soldier for frozen custard at the creamery.

The cabin is on the west side of the river, the main street is on the east side. It was EASY walking distance which meant we did not have to drive through the busy E Lake Drive and find parking. That was PERFECT!The beds were comfortable, the kitchen clean and easy to use, the outside seating was a great place to relax after a day of biking and walking.Saturday night we could hear music from the main street, enough that we could enjoy if while on the porch (it was not loud on the porch) and did not hear it from the front bedroom, or at least it was so muffled that it was white noise. That made the evening on the porch inviting.We both would come back to this property.

This is our third time to stay here. We love this little home in Medicine Park. It's charming, cozy, comfortable and conveniently located near the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Preserve. We love being walking distance from the river walk and many places to eat and listen to music. One of our favorite places to stay!
