Cozy home downtown with fire pit

Clean, quiet and perfect for our needs while we were in town for a family reunion. We particularly enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen and sun porch. Directions on where to park and how to get in were very clear. Host was responsive to messages.

This property was great for our family as we prepared for our daughter's wedding. It was very roomy. Recent updates made us feel very comfortable. The owner was quick to respond to any needs that we had.

We had 7 close friends staying together and it worked well. Guest guide was thorough and house well stocked with supplies-even those we expected to provide for ourselves.Large dining table worked for meals if we brought a folding chair in from patio for an extra seat. Only issue was lingering pet dander that impacted our most sensitive guests when hanging out in room with couches. couches.danderwedid

The home was welcoming and comfortable. A nice getaway close to Starved Rock and local retail.

The location is good, but if you have 6 adults the one room with twin beds is pretty uncomfortable. The rocking chair toilet offers a unique experience. The kitchen was well stocked and the dining room table is perfect for 6. Overall good experience.
