Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Tagalong for two nights for a wedding. First the good—communication regarding access to the unit was great. The overall property was well maintained and very nice. We did not use the golf facilities. Now about our specific unit(411B). The decor was quite dated, carpet had seen better days and the unit did not seem clean. The grout in the shower and bathroom (especially around the toilet) was very dirty. One of the bedside lamps did not work (not a burned out bulb but the knob to turn lamp on didn’t work), the deadbolt lock on the exterior door didn’t work (first floor unit) The ironing board cover was ripped and unusable. The bed was ok—obviously old and not especially comfortable but considering the rest of the place it was as expected. Hopefully other rental units are more updated and maintained. We are owners of a rental condo in another state and we are required to maintain certain standards—that does not seem to be the case here.

The kitchen counter had a film on it, and seemed very greasy, so I tried to clean it. Shower had moldy grime in it. Overall, a nice unit with an amazing view!

It was a very nice place to spend some time away from home, and reasonable price.
