This property was as perfect as depicted. It is a peaceful, quiet location at the end of the street. The owners have thought of everything you could need or might have forgotten, and the property was immaculate! They are quick to respond to messages. We were visiting the area for Penn State Homecoming weekend and it was a quick 30 minutes to campus. Thank you so much!!!

The cottage was exactly as advertised - so cute , quaint, quiet and amenities were plentiful. Great communication with owner. Location to Penn State was about 1/2 hr away - perfect for game day Not sure we will be coming back to Pennsylvania - But if we did we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else

I planned on spending my birthday in happy valley and searched all over for a place, then I found Lakewood cottage. I talked it over with the other couple that came with and it was an easy yes for the 4 of us. The place wasn’t far from the stadium and easy to get to. It was clean and tidy and overall an amazing stay for the weekend. We would definitely stay here again.

Located in Howard, this cottage is in the city center and on a lake. Curtin Village at Eagle Ironworks and Bellefonte Historical Railroad Society are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Nittanee Creek Practice Range and Big Spring Spirits. Creekside Rock and Gems and Tait Farm Foods are also worth visiting. Enjoy the area's slopes with cross-country skiing and skiing, and don't miss out on the ice skating and sledding.
