VINTERFELL STORLIG 1ST CT LAKE & MAGALLOWAY BERGSIKT!

Well appointed and cozy…views were great over the 1st lake….I appreciated all the spices that I found in the kitchen to make those fresh Brookies taste awesome

The house was super clean and in a great location. We could sled right from the property and it was far enough North to avoid the thinner in-town trails, but close enough to Youngs and Restaurants for dinner. Great views, and plenty of parking for trucks and trailers. The fireplace kept us nice and warm after long days of riding. All four bedrooms were good size and beds were comfortable. We had a great time!!!

This was our second stay at Winterfell. The home is clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the First Connecticut Lake. Although the weather was not terribly cooperative, we enjoyed cooking, eating and board games!

Views and house are great. If you have a trailer and there is snow on ground park in bottom lot. Driveway/road to house is plowed but ice under. This is not the responsibility of owner but I witnessed two different vehicles with trailers slide down hill while attempting to go up.

Beautiful views,very clean, nice accommodations, can only fit 1-20’ trailer had to park other 2 in another location, on direct trail but overall a very nice place to spend time riding the trails with family

Beautiful property, clean and fully furnished. Nice view of the lake. Short drive to multiple adventure spots such as boat and ATV rentals. The washer/dryer and dishwasher were nice touches as well. Definitely would stay again.

• The entry road is a steep incline that is not plowed/ treated regularly • The exterior property photos are very deceiving- you cannot safely bring a snowmobile trailer up to the house and, unless you drive small vehicles, it’s a tight squeeze all around. House sits on a small cliff • They use the ring camera to take screen shots of you coming and going • The hosts take no accountability and are passive aggressive When booking I was clear we would be arriving with a truck and snowmobile trailer. I was not informed of the lack of parking for a truck/trailer at the home, nor that other trucks and trailers have gotten stuck in the past and needed to be towed. As a result, my GMC 1500 4x4 truck with studded snow tires wasn't able to make it to the top of the grade and jackknifed. This forced us to pay for a tow truck, miss a day of riding and damaged my trailer. When I contacted the hosts their response was dismissive/passive aggressive and they deflected by sending us Ring Camera pics of us with our dogs. They immediately left us a negative review about our dogs. They have a "pets allowed" home. I am happy/capable of paying the pet fee. I am prior military, pride myself on integrity and have an Vrbo myself. If they had just informed me or took responsibility, this would not be an issue. I wouldn’t risk working with this host due to the lack of professionalism, lack of integrity and lack of maturity to handle mishaps. Use Google Earth to view the property first.

Winterfell was just as described! Beautiful views from the home! It is very roomy and will easily accommodate multiple families. Chris and Ali were very responsive to our numerous questions and concerns. Well stocked kitchen but I didn't realize I needed to bring all the condiments! Look forward to snowmobiling from the house in February.

Our 12 days at Winterfell was awesome! The home was clean, well appointed and beyond beautiful. The views were amazing and the location was perfect. The owners and property manager are very attentive and available to help if need be. We didn't have a need to reach out during our stay as everything was perfect. They did email me throughout the stay to check on us and make sure we had all we needed. They were amazing! Great experience and we can not wait to spend more time at Winterfell.

We had a wonderful time at Winterfell. My husband and three adult children were in Pittsburgh for a wedding, and this home was perfect for the five of us. My only suggestion would be to replace the mattress in the master bedroom. Both my husband and I found it uncomfortable.

The stay was great. The view was spectacular. Everything in that house was thought of for any and all guests. Right down to the air fryer.... The rooms were fantastic. Beds comfy. The living room spacious. Fire pit was the icing on the cake. I could go on and on. I work as a maintenance manager/engineer for a huge hotel system and these folks nailed it. If I have to add a couple of small negatives maybe do not advertise hot tub at all. Just take that out of the whole equation because I wanted to climb in that thing so bad. The other small negative is the fireplaces were not available for use...but thats ok given the fact everyone who rents this property may not be able to use propane and a pilot light........by the way the place is decorated perfectly

Very comfortable beds, linens and towels provided was huge because it’s a pain in the neck to pack all of that!! Ali and Chris were very attentive and quick to respond to any inquiries!! Will definitely be back and highly recommend these beautiful views!!

We just finished a great week in Pittsburg NH and stayed at Winterfell. Wonderful location for us..snowmobiling! Very nice property.. will definitely look to go again!
