Luxurious Apt 1 Full Kitchen Across from Palm Beach

We had such a great stay at Gustavo’s place. It was beyond clean, had everything we needed and more! The pool was so refreshing after long days at the beach! We were able to walk to dinner every night because it was so close to everything. Highly recommend this place and would love to come back again!!

THE SHOWER COULD BE 5 DEGREES HOTTER

We could walk to Palm Beach and its restaurants, rental kiosks, and tour departure points. A bit of a hike in dress shoes or lugging beach gear. So then it's a short drive. Parking was pretty good. Aruba addresses don't use street names but neighborhoods and there are zero street signs so digital service and Google Maps are a must. Arrange this before you fly in so you can find this place. The second day we ran into a worker and got fresh towels. Other than that the room was never service. A phone number for a host and alternate host was posted in the room. We tried both, left messages, and never heard back. I did not try messaging the owner through VRBO, so that's on me. We got by. Very peaceful except that garbage pickup is at 10:30PM on Thursday and about gave me a heart attack. The place needs a decent hard shell cooler big enough for a day's outing. There is an insulated bag, like a reusable shopping bag, that's big enough but sags and leaks. We were in apartment #1. We got check-in instructions with the code to the "door" and the code to the lock box. The entrance to apt. #1 is on the left (north) side of the building. The "door" is a gate to access a breezeway on the side of the building and the apt. entrance. The lock box is on the patio door all the way around back by the pool. We had a tiny guest gecko. These little guys are harmless and everywhere. I think they could get inside a safe. All minor issues that are typical of vacation travel. Aruba is awesome.

We stayed for 10 nights, which was a longer trip for a rental, but the apartment was nice. On the 7th day, we didn't have hot water. I was in communication with the host, and it did not get resolved while we were still there. That definitely was a mark against the property. The pool area is shared, which was very much made mention, but most of the time we had it to ourselves! Quick walk to the beach and Palm beach.

Had a good stay here. The house was clean and comfortable. Had an issue with the shower not draining quickly, and while the host had it checked and worked on very quickly, the issue persisted throughout the trip. The location is great, a relatively easy walk to town, to all of the resorts, and to the beach. Felt safe staying here. It was my mistake to not realize that this property is shared with other visitors but aside from one time having someone speaking very loudly in the pool while I was in an online meeting, there were no issues with the visitors or neighbors. I would recommend this house for a visit to Aruba!
