Lisbon Five Stars Apartments 8 Building

Large spacious room, great bathroom, overall in need of a little maintenance. The room and hallway smelled of mold/humidity. Building and location was great, across the park from the Time Out Market, great roof top bar with beautiful views of Lisboa, parking garage across the street.

This property is in a great location, just next to the time out Market and a walk to the main city centre. The apartment also has a rooftop bar and restaurant(little pricey compared to restaurant next door). Clean and comfortable, the only issue we had was the sewerage smell coming from the bathroom. We kept the bathroom door closed as much as possible. Staff were super polite and very helpful, during checkout we were allowed to leave our bags for an additional cost of 5euro for each bag for 5 hours. We were supposed to receive a bottle of wine during check in but didn’t, when I mention this during check out, they said no. Staff mentioned that I had left my shoes behind in the room which I thought was very considerate. Don’t think I would stay again due to the smell in the bathroom, prevented us from wanting to shower. If your someone that has lost your sense of smell, then this hotel is perfect, so convenient to all that Lisbon has to offer. Also, do yourself a favour and visit Sintra(1 hour drive), it’s amazing…

Pros: Great location next to the time out market, Java rooftop bar and train station. Easy check-in when the workers are there Cons: a little outdated furniture, kitchen faucet was loose ***Construction that lasted the whole day under our building, starting exactly at 8am til 5pm intermittently. And it was drilling construction kind that’s was extremely loud and vibrating the whole room. We could not go back to the room to rest at all during the day. We went to the front desk and they said it’s beyond their control which I understand but it was a rough day Elevators not working. 2 of the 3 elevators were not working on our last day and the final 3rd went out the morning that we left. This seems to be a common theme from another review I read about this apartment. I reached out to the help desk after my stay and they apologized but said there were 4 other elevators that circles the building apparently. I still have no idea where they were. Regardless, majority of the time we were using the 3 elevators that our room was in. The front staff seem to be nice when we interacted but they’re only there for a limited time during the day. Don’t bother asking the housekeeping of the building anything like extra toilet paper or blanket since they will tell you to go down stairs to ask the staff, which we ended up doing. Overall the first fees days were good, the last day was just unpleasant due to those circumstances beyond their control but it still affected our experience.

This is my 2nd time staying here. We had a nice, big 2 bedroom apartment in a prime location. It is close enought to walk to many places of interest and there is a subway/train stop right across the street. Amazing places to eat including the rooftop bar and restaurant, Java, on the 5th floor of this building. Time Out Maket is right there as well as several others with indoor and outdoor dining options.

This was a amazing place to stay, Rooftop bar was awesome, Food was great location was perfect, there’s a massive food court called the time out across the street that has every type of food you could think of. Pedro our concierge was amazing. Would definitely stay there again for sure

Had trouble with key card getting demagnetized, and elevators stopped working for last 2 days, used stairs to 4th floor. Otherwise everything else was great. Clean and bright living area. Great location.

Nice hotel ! Good place / city centre / easy access by car - parking just underneath the park infront of the hotel Windows were not isolating the noice out - during night you could hear people talk - We lives on 1th floor Besides that - nice helper in terms of finding restaurants etc

Our stay was good, however the main elevator was out of sevice. We had to walk 2 extra flights of stairs for every trip up to our room. But the view and experience waworrh it.

The hotel was in a great location near Food venues that were varied and provided easy access to a bunch of different types of dining options. The hotel itself was very secure with plenty of security to create a very safe environment for anyone traveling to the city of Lisbon not that we felt the city to be unsafe. We had a bit of a problem with the hot water in our unit, but after discussing it with the staff via WhatsApp, we were able to get switched to a new room at no additional cost with a better views and the hot water situation was handled. Overall, the hotel was great. The beds were comfortable, and the space was very ample.

The apartment is spacious, clean, and in a central location. You can hear a lot of noise from the courtyard. There is a big food market across the street with great service and many food options. Firm mattress, fully loaded kitchenette. There is an extra fee for additional towels. As mentioned in previous reviews, there is a very nice bar restaurant on the roof. Overall, we are happy that we booked this place.

The location of the property is amazing! It’s super walkable and near a train station. The building is nice and recently updated. Our apartment was ok. There is a musty odor that was not great and when I left windows open at night due to the odor, the street noise from the bars nearby woke me starting around 230 am. There is a nice rooftop restaurant, check in process was strange and I didn’t get my welcome gift until I was asked how I enjoyed it by hotels.com. Overall, it met my needs, but I would not stay here again.

Clean, but room is little outdated. Wall paint in the bathroom need to be repaint . No cleansing gel in the bathroom.

Everything was fine except for the big cockroach that came up the kitchen sink drain when the drainer was removed. Had to make sure the drainer was in place at all times. No hair dryer in the unit even though it was listed as available

The apartments were in an imposing main building on the edge of the old town. The metro from the airport terminates 3 minutes away from the building making an inexpensive and quick journey from the plane. The family room we had was spacious and well laid out. It was clean and tidy for our 4 night stay. The concierge did check with us to see if we wanted any assistance during our time there. A bonus was that the Time Out food market was across the road from us for choosing a meal in the evening. Five Stars was ideally situated for wandering around the old town or to get public transport to go further afield. We would not hesitate to book a return stay there in the future.

O apto estava um pouco desgastado em relação ao da foto e o banheiro continha infiltração que caía do teto e barata que saía do ralo. Entendo que teve muita chuva em Lisboa durante a hospedagem e isso pode ter gerado a movimentação das baratas , mas realmente achei estranho. De resto a localização é excelente, o apto é perfeito para o que se propõe, tem elevador, fácil acesso ao mercado e aos restaurantes próximos. Volto com certeza.

Great location. Clean room and great staff. The only thing that we did not get was the complimentary wine that expedia promissed or advertised that we would get it for our stay.

Stay here if you like to party and don’t care if you get a good nights rest or not. That was on the weekends. Getting extra towels in your room requires an act of congress. You can’t just ask housekeeping. The building has water damage, ants in the room, and the front glass door was shattered. Not a great first impression. Very close to the train station and eating places though.

Concierge Sr Pedro prestativo, educado e ótimas dicas. Acomodação é muito boa, ampla, bem decorada. Só faltou espelho de corpo inteiro. Wi-Fi é horrível, não se consegue trabalhar.

It was a great two nights to stay there, just WiFi not really work, TV and coffee machine may be need more instruction about how to operation

Excellent location. Very central for touring. Hosts were great. Easy check in and check out. Apartment was HUGE and perfect for families. Well equipped (we cooked some breakfasts and dinners there). Air conditioning worked great. Would stay there again for sure.

Excellent place to stay. Only complaint is beds were horrible. Like a trampoline. I brought a 3 inch mattress topper w me that i compressed down which made it sleepable. The access is very safe and the time out market with tons of food is literally across the street. Area is really nice, would definitely stay here again.

We had told the staff 3 days ahead of time that we would arrive at around 8:00pm. They said it was no problem and they would send an email regarding our check in. No email was sent. Staff was easy to get a hold of if you have a device that can call in Spain. Otherwise, if you message them, they will not respond. If there is an issue after 6:30pm, good luck. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, but the area was always busy and loud at nighttime.

Nice spacious apartment convenient location lovely bathroom The lighting was much too dark couldn’t use the TV tune in to English speaking channels Not clear instructions as to where to go when leaving lift the door we finally realised was very unwelcoming with no visible sign to say enter with Key card the corridor was also ver dismal And on exiting I walked pass the door quite a few times no real visible sign to say exit or to lifts s A fair bit a of noise late at night which didn’t help me sleep

Decent apartment, unfortunately quite noisy on the square side despite being at 4th floor and having double glazing. A bit difficult to sleep overnight.

Options of bus, tram, Metro and trains which we used a few times to travel to other places. Apartment had nice big bedrooms a comfy spacious living area with great kitchenette and was equipped with everything we needed. I received a message from the concierge on arrival day offering to help with anything needed whilst we stayed, and key pick-up etc was easy and problem free. There was a little office on site staffed throughout the day and the staff were very helpful with any questions. One of them even called whilst we were on a way from the airport at beginning of our stay to check if we would make it by 6pm to collect our key because we had a big delay with our flight on arrival day. Would definitely recommend staying at Lisbon 5 Stars and I would stay there if visited Lisbon again in future. 😊

The location of this property was perfectly close to everything. Unfortunately our unit wasn't ready when we arrived well after checkin time. The unit was fairly clean but very worn and beat up. Lastly the day we checked out our flight was departing late so we left our luggage in their office, for 5 euro a bag. When we returned to retrieve our baggage we found that the office was closed. No one mentioned to us that they would close for a couple of hours for lunch. This caused us a lot of stress as we needed to catch our flight. Eventually some one came to open the door, after making a couple of calls.

We were checked in at 3:30, made sure to arrive between the 3:00 and 6;00 check in time listed. Walked to the room and was stopped in the hallway and was told that the room wasn’t ready and we can leave our bags. Confused, we walk to the room and they had not started cleaning the room yet! I return to the office to stay that it was unacceptable to check us into a dirty room. I asked if there was another room, there was but I couldn’t have it because I did not order that one. Through hotels.com I am eligible for an upgrade when available. Why be denied when an error is done on the part of the property. I asked how long it would be as we had an early flight and had our luggage all day. 45 minutes! I was also promised 1/2 of the first night’s stay as “that is fair for the inconvenience.” I asked for confirmation beyond her word and she took down my email so I can have and official email. This was never done, neither do I believe they intended to. Very poor customer service. A couple of pluses was the location, one block from the trains/tram and across the street from Time Out Market.

Good location, well furnished. Concierge was very helpful and attentive via WhatsApp. Make sure you confirm the number of actual beds you need. They seem to decide on how people should sleep based on the number of people there. We were 5 people that needed 4 beds but got 2 double beds and a single bed.

The service at the establishment was subpar, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The manager we encountered was extremely impolite and uncooperative. When we requested for someone to come and change our bedsheets and provide us with towels, she outright refused. She even went as far as shouting that the premises were not a hotel and that we were required to pay for any extra amenities. It was quite concerning that she expected us to pay for clean towels, considering that we had booked the room for three nights. Additionally, her behavior was very problematic, and we felt that it was rooted in racism.

The apartment itself was great - spacious, well furnished and really clean. However the building was in a really noisy area, and our room overlooked the inner courtyard and the restaurants in it which were very noisy until after midnight, so for this reason we wouldn’t stay here again. Communication wasn’t good - we contacted the hotel prior to our arrival via the Expedia message service and none of our messages were replied to. We rang and messaged the “emergency number” at about 2300 due to our toilet not working and we didn’t receive any response.

The property concierge, Pedro, was incredible and provided us with a list of recommendations for activities during our stay which was super helpful!

It has a great location, just nearby Time Out Market, close to any any type of public transit stations. Room is clean, quiet and comfortable with a small kitchen and big living room.

Stayed for one night in these apartments and they were top class. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable beds. All the amenities that was needed. Nice bathroom with a great shower. Clean and comfortable. Location was excellent.When I come back to Lisbon I will definitely try to stay here

Great location, near a Time Out food court, a farmer's market for fresh fruits and vegetable, as well as several restaurants and bars. I was on a higher floor and did not have noise issue from bars. Also only two blocks away from a train station with attached Pingo Doce market.

Great central location near the waterfront. Terrific neighbourhood to be based in while visiting Lisbon. Would not hesitate to recommend to others visiting Lisbon.

Fantastic accommodation! So central to everything and eighth next to the time out market. Was ideal! Train station is also a short walking distance away to get out of the city for a day. Apartment was large and clean, coffee machine is a great addition to the room. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend to all!

We had a beautiful apartment for our stay. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The place got a little noisy at night due to the Java club on the rooftop, but it wasn't anything we couldn't live with. Our concierge offered his services and was very helpful. The staff at check-in was very courteous. We loved our apartment and felt very safe. It was also across from Cafe Janis (great breakfast!) and close to the Timeout Market.
