What a wonderful place. My family and I had a great stay (July 7-10). The Guest House comes as advertised. It was very clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. Even the pull out bed was in good shape and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the BBQ worked great. Emandare Vineyard is a beautiful property. It's located just a few minutes outside of Duncan but feels like you're hours from town. The property is quiet and secluded (no neighbours within sight) and the view doesn't get better. We sat on the deck every morning with our coffee and simply enjoyed overlooking the rows of vines and the lake. In the evening it was a dip in the hot tub, a glass of wine and staring at the stars. The Guest House is great place to stay and relax.

This is a return stay for us. We love the convenient location and the bright, attractive living space, big enough to feel very comfortable for two--but even 3 or 4 could stay here easily with the two bedrooms. The deck and hot tub are wonderful and overlook a peaceful vineyard setting. This week we watched the stars from the deck and had several sightings of the Perseid meteor shower. We took advantage of the offerings in the area and have visited Westholme Tea, Zannatta Winery, and Merrivale Cidery. The highlight of our visit was The Raptors, an up close experience with many different kinds of these birds, including bald eagles, hawks, and vultures--just a few minutes down the road. All thoughtful touches and everything you need is here, whether you like to eat out, or if you want to prepare food at home--you can do it here with a well equipped kitchen. Clean, comfortable, and inviting. Thanks to our hosts for being inspired to share their scenic vineyard and making the Tractor Shed such a wonderful place to stay.

This property is fantastic. Clean, comfortable and nestled within a beautiful vineyard where you can sample the excellent wines made on site. We arrived to a lovely bottle of Rose that we enjoyed in the hot tub overlooking the lake. Idyllic!

There is no point in uploading photos because the listing photos are 100% accurate! Fantastic setting and very comfortable accommodation. The Tractor Shed is well equipped with everything we needed during our stay including a hot tub and a bbq. Big deck overlooking the vineyard with a view to the lake - great for relaxing and listening to all the birds. Minutes from Duncan, and a great spot from which to visit the local wineries. Mike and Robin live just across the way and are available to answer any questions that might come up while you are there. The 'welcome' bottle of rose was very appreciated and I made sure to purchase a bottle to bring home with me.Highly recommend.

From start to finish, this was the most luxurious air bnb stay we've experienced on the west coast. The accommodations were immaculate and stunning with gorgeous views of the vineyard. The hosts left us detailed and helpful instructions and everything was on hand for a delightful, restful stay. We sat out on the patio watching the birds however in the sky, sipping rose, and utterly relished the tranquility. Exactly what city dwellers need to unwind. Plus there's a hot tub. Need I say more?

This winery has everything for a super getaway. Beachy vibe with a hot tub and fireplace overlooking the vineyard and Somenos Lake - feels 100 miles away but only five minutes from Duncan. Mike and Robyn were super hosts and their wines are very high quality - will never think of Canadian Pinot the same again!

This is the best place to call home base while you’re on the Island. It’s a beautiful spot to sit and soak in the hot tub or playing cards in the deck. The bath products were a wonderful surprise!!! The lighting and switches are perfect! Love opening a door and a light pops on! You can’t ask for more!!

This was our second time staying at Emandare. Our first time was in 2023. We were pleased to find nothing has changed. The property and guest house is as nice as it was two years ago. The beds were still comfortable. The kitchen was still well equipped. Everything was still very clean and fresh. And the views still wonderful. My family (wife & 3 daughter's) and I will be back for a third visit before long.

Emandare really delivered. The house (called the Tractor Shed) is located away from the main farmhouse with views of the vineyard and Lake Somemos. Well appointed, immaculately clean, peaceful and quiet. We will be back!

The instructions for access were very good; we might suggest a light or arrow or sign at the 'sharp left turn' along the entry drive to indicate the direction of the guest house.Guest binder explained everything very well. Everything was very clean. The location is wonderful; quiet and lovely views.

We had a wonderful stay at the guest house. We spent most of our time biking and the location was perfect. less than 10 minute to the mountain. The guest house is very clean, beds are comfortable. We had everything we needed for our visit. Thank you!

This VRBO exceeds the pictures. It is incredibly beautiful, charming and comfortable. It is in a great location, with it being a short trip to Duncan where all the amenities of a larger centre are located. The entire experience of staying at this Guest House was fantastic; even the weather cooperated! Mike is charming and it was a treat to meet his youngest daughter at the winery. The accommodations are modern, bright and well decorated. We especially liked the artwork and wondered if the signature R belonged to Robin.

We spent a week here helping our daughter get settled after her move to the area. After a busy day it ws so nice to come home for a soak in the hot tub. So peaceful and private. We did miss having a full kitchen, and a normal sized TVbut didn't have much for either.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The home was very well stocked with every convenience you could want. From a machine that grinds and makes fresh coffee from beans, to luxurious Kleenex and bathroom tissue, to lots of place to hang towels and clothes and soaps to wash dishes and clothes. Exceptionally clean and quiet.

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The property is lovely and just as pictured! We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the patio in the mornings and evenings. The hosts were kind and helpful. Will definitely be back!

There is no point in uploading photos because the listing photos are 100% accurate! Fantastic setting and very comfortable accommodation. The Tractor Shed is well equipped with everything we needed during our stay including a hot tub and a bbq. Big deck overlooking the vineyard with a view to the lake - great for relaxing and listening to all the birds. Minutes from Duncan, and a great spot from which to visit the local wineries. Mike and Robin live just across the way and are available to answer any questions that might come up while you are there. The 'welcome' bottle of rose was very appreciated and I made sure to purchase a bottle to bring home with me.Highly recommend.

We always enjoy our stay at Emandare. The place is always clean, great view, great vibe. It's always nice to get a complimentary bottle of wine and to catch up with Mike in the tasting room. We're already looking forward to our next stay up there.

From start to finish, this was the most luxurious air bnb stay we've experienced on the west coast. The accommodations were immaculate and stunning with gorgeous views of the vineyard. The hosts left us detailed and helpful instructions and everything was on hand for a delightful, restful stay. We sat out on the patio watching the birds however in the sky, sipping rose, and utterly relished the tranquility. Exactly what city dwellers need to unwind. Plus there's a hot tub. Need I say more?

It was a peaceful and restful stay at the beautiful Emandare vineyard. Lots of great local attractions, a perfect stop between Nanaimo and Victoria. Only downside was that there was no dishwasher so need to hand wash the dishes if you plan to cook there. Hosts were easy to communicate with and helpful. The wine shop is only open on Saturday but with advance planning you could reach out to the host regarding private tastings. Sad that we missed out on that. I’m sure we would have bought every bottle! The view is unmatched at this beautiful property.

The instructions for access were very good; we might suggest a light or arrow or sign at the 'sharp left turn' along the entry drive to indicate the direction of the guest house.Guest binder explained everything very well. We had a wonderful stay at the guest house. We spent most of our time biking and the location was perfect. less than 10 minute to the mountain. The guest house is very clean, beds are comfortable. We had everything we needed for our visit. Thank you!

This is the cutest little getaway, a short drive from Victoria or Nanaimo. It really feels like you're away from the city, the view from the hot tub is amazing. Great spot for couples or a getaway with friends. I would love to stay again one day!

Emandare really delivered. The house (called the Tractor Shed) is located away from the main farmhouse with views of the vineyard and Lake Somemos. Well appointed, immaculately clean, peaceful and quiet. We will be back!

This winery has everything for a super getaway. Beachy vibe with a hot tub and fireplace overlooking the vineyard and Somenos Lake - feels 100 miles away but only five minutes from Duncan. Mike and Robyn were super hosts and their wines are very high quality - will never think of Canadian Pinot the same again!

A wonderful place to stay. Very fresh and welcoming inside and out. The central location is a perfect starting point for daily adventures all around the Cowichan Valley. We can highly recommend the guest house as it's one of the very best VRBO's we've ever stayed at.

Fantastic place and better than expected. Peaceful and relaxing within just a few minutes of Duncan. Walking to the vineyard tasting room from our suite was a really nice experience. Would definitely stay again.

This property is fantastic. Clean, comfortable and nestled within a beautiful vineyard where you can sample the excellent wines made on site. We arrived to a lovely bottle of Rose that we enjoyed in the hot tub overlooking the lake. Idyllic!

This was the perfect getaway to celebrate my birthday with some friends! Three moms needing peace and quiet away from busy life! The purpose of our stay was to visit wineries in the Cowichan valley. The guest house at Emandare winery was absolutely perfect in all aspect. It is so beautiful, comfortable and the perfect location to visit the area. We highly recommend the guest house.

We enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and comfortable. Delightful host. Good location for access to hikes and good restaurants. Hot tub was a hit with our kids. Frogs seranaded us when we were outside in the evening.
